Clean, well organized and well stocked. A few check out staff have attitude but most of them are nice and helpful

In our recent visit to Palm Desert on the way to and from Phoenix vacation, we shopped here twice. We love that it's a full huge super center. I was able to find makeup brands o can't find at smaller Walmarts, food for our trip and everything we needed. They have a good solid wine selection. We bought 6 bottles. More actual full service cashiers would be a huge improvement over self checkout. read more

I have been in a lot of Walmart super centers, but never any quite like this one. It is HUGE! Really, it's more like a gigantic box than. Big Box facility. We walked in looking for one item, but were overwhelmed by the size. Our thinking was that if you can't find it here, you don't need it. The place was well lit and as clean as could be. Security at the door was more of a greeter than a rent-a-cop. It appeared fully staffed as well. For a Walmart this one was not bad (Palm Desert) However, today 6-12-2026 was the last day I will ever set foot in that Walmart. Why, first they got rid of about 85% of there shoe-horn self checkout....only 4 self serve are there and you can only purchase 15 items or less....so I was forced to go with a large order to a clerk......they just don't care....they just don't want to be there. Can't blame them. But after running my card twice it was declined...just used it at Costco worked fine. The ass manager looked about 19 he took me to another register and that failed as well. He said my card is bad contact your card co. INSTEAD...........I took my basket to the self service 15 items or less...just bought 2 soup cans...WORKED GREAT. The customer service is non existent.. Trader Joe's for my big shopping...small items mostly household at the Walmart in Palm Springs. From now on...let's see if they are as well not allowing more than 15 items in a self check out.....they did last time i was there. read more

I checked in for my drive up and go order and waited for over a half hour before getting out and asking an associate to check on mine. The people bringing out the orders have no sense of urgency whatsoever and are rude when others asked for updates. Like why offer a service if you're not willing to hire enough associates for the workload? I was not the only one having issues and I ended up there in the parking lot for just over an hour. read more

Very nice stock people helped us find just what we wanted in cosmetics. Everyone was very friendly. Had a very good experience. Parking can be difficult and handicapped spaces are mostly taken. Bear that in mind. read more

I couldn't find the item I was looking for . I asked a young lady for help and she looked at me with a vacant stare and said 'no English'...and walked away! I eventually found the item and headed to the checkout. On the way I asked a Second Lady about the communication problem I had experienced...and SHE DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH EITHER!!! Unbelievable! !!! The workers need to be in a better mood. I went to get some formula and there was no button to call an associate so I saw two of them walking by and simply just asked if they can call someone. one said "we're not on the clock" interrupting me and didn't even let me finish my sentence. the other said "there's a button press it" and I told them I looked for a button there was none. I didn't know u had to be on a clock to call someone over. I saw another associate and asked her if she can call someone to unlock the formula for me and again I got interrupted and she said she'd be right over and rolled her eyes. Do not use their express delivery. They 7se third party people to shop for you and they won't pick up your order if they don't think it worth it. I just called Walmart and that's what they told me. This is a very, very terrible delivery system. They have, I would not use it because the lady on the phone could not tell me where my money was going or what was happening with my order. All she saw is that it was still in the computer and that people refuse to pick it up for me and that's after I told her I had medication in there that was needed. read more

I occasionally stop in here if I'm looking for something in paryicular, and other stores do not have it. But in this store I generally can find that little something I love shopping here at Christmas time because they carry so many Christmas display items to help decorate the house. Walmart delivery service has been absolutely terrible lately. They keep delivering to the wrong address. Was expecting a shipment of kitten chow, for the kittens we rescued. We live in a 41ft motorhome, this is the 3rd time I've had my order left at an unknown location in the RV resort we live in. Presently it's 117 degrees outside and I am not in the mood to hunt down the location of where the delivery driver left this order. Sad thing is, we correctly received a different order from the same store today. Walmart needs to start looking for new delivery drivers asap. read more

Was there a couple days ago and needed some razor blades. They are locked up. So I pushed the service light. 10 minutes go by and no one showed up. The problem is there was 4 associates that were in sight and not far away stocking shelves. So I asked 3 of them and they all said to push the service button. I went back and pushed it again and waited another 10 minutes. Finally walk to the pharmacy counter and a nice lady called someone for me. Otherwise it would have been a one star review. I guess Walmart doesn't really care about customer service. Pretty sad read more

This is a very large Walmart that we stopped at on our way to Arizona. We didn't end up buying anything, however. A fraction of the Check Out Lines were open, and there were 20+ customers each. We decided to use the restroom and decided to leave. While we were still in store, an Overhead Announcement came on, stating that there was a vehicle blocking the Pharmacy Drive Through lane. Perfect stop for me since I needed shoes in an emergency, since one of mine fell completely apart when I got to town. I picked up some other items as well and the cosmetics cashier who rang up my items was very very sweet. Bless her heart for working with her leg in a walking boot! This store is easily accessible, well stocked, and very clean. I like how everything is spread out, allowing room for carts, strollers, etc. Good prices on items also. read more

If i could rate this less than 1 star i would. Handicap parking is always full. Help is missing. Everything is locked up with no one to help. Store is a mess. Everything i need i always out of stock. I'm a Cancer patient, had almost ran out of Morphine. My normal Pharmacy had Morphine on BACK ORDER. Called Rite Aid, on Back order. Called a couple more Pharmacist, same thing. Then called Walmart Pharmacy, first spoke to a nice person named Ray. He confirmed Walmart had IN STOCK my Time Release type of Morphine. Called my Doctor, In Ten Minutes an Angel from Walmart (Jenny) called me in my time of need and for this Emergency spoke with me asking a lot of information about Me and my Diagnosis. She had to put me on hold a few times to verify I suspected, and then came back on the line and said Come by in Thirty Minutes and pick up your prescription....I've never been more Thankful in my life. Jenny is an Absolutely Amazing and Awesome individual at this Walmart location. This is what makes our local community Great. This is Not just a Walmart Super Store, it's a Fantastic Walmart Super Store and Pharmacy Thanks to people like Jenny..., I will definitely be back and will definitely use Walmart Pharmacy from now on...Thanks again !!!!! read more

When "working" with celebratory swag, holiday garb, all that's twinkling & glimmering - to set the scene for my first Hanukkah in the desert with my family ... Merry is an absolute DELIGHT! Her face lights up when she solves a problem, I shit you not. Á la kid on Christmas. Exactly that level of visible glee & joy. It's pretty incredible. You can't buy alcohol in the self checkout so if you want to buy even 1 bottle of anything, you are stuck with people who have carts loaded with items because they are either too old or incapable of doing self checkout. So done with this place. Its insanity to continue coming here expecting help. No one helps. Not even if you push the button on the case. I spent my lunch WAITING to see if I would be helped. I would avoid this walmart at all costs! There's probably a good reason they have their police setup camera thing in the parking lot. I had came in here, walked out and my window was smashed. Went into walmart a couple days ago & it was ok. Store was nice and organized. Cute halloween costumes for pets :) Only bad part was, meat section was down due to freezer problems :/ hopefully its back up again. Overall really nice recovered store :) Great job! read more

I have never been a huge fan of shopping inside this store. Yes, there is a lot to offer but the quality in some areas is lacking and the dreariness of the store, coupled with LONG lines turns me off. I have however had recent successes ordering online for pickup in the parking lot. The app is easy to use and the staff makes it painless with zero contact during these tough times. I had a money order from my job and I took it to Walmart and not only was the customer service closed an hour before they were supposed to be but when they finally sent someone to help me I was told that they don't cash money orders from a job. I asked why since a money order is a money order and they said because since you worked for the money and the company paid you in a money order we don't cash them. I placed a home delivery order on 10/17. It included 3 cans of dog food. I received an email that it was out of stock So I canceled it. i double checked & it was in stock! It was too late to correct order. I finally got it ordered for later that day delivery. However I had to order 4 cans of food so it would be over $10. Then I got a $5 coupon to offset the delivery fee. The fee is $6.99 & I pay for free delivery! The $5 coupon didn't cover the fee but that's the best Walmart could do! So Walmart made $2 on the purchase! How often does Walmart do this & how much money do they make off their mistakes! read more

The Grocery Pick Up zone workers are shady as is the insurance rep Taylor Lewis. A worker hit my car and damaged it but they lie so I cant get it repaired. They admit it but lie in the reports and claim process. Be careful. I also pulled a neck muscle reacting to the sudden hit to my car as I was parked it was unexpected. I just asked they repair the damage they lie to get out of it then add my car is old anyway so what. Its a 2011 Jeep Liberty I like it and dont appreciate careless workers damaging it, and sneaky insurance adjusters lying to save Wal Mart and the billionaire Walton family a few bucks. LESLEE & ALEXANDRA are rude!! They are working customer service .... Walmart decides to close early??? On cyber MONDAY? Holiday?? What??? And they tell me they are closed! So I leave ... decided to use the restroom and when I came out .... I saw a new customer being helped! I asked my hubby what that was about? He heard the entire conversation!! The lady walked up and asked ALEXANDRA a question and she told her they were closed buy decided to help her!??? Why her??? Not me?? Maybe because I wasn't light colored enough! I decided to go back and and see why they couldn't help me? I literally have a small soap dispenser that need to be returned.. I've come multiple times and the line is soooo long, I just leave! LESLEE says we are CLOSED!! Mind you she's still helping the same lady that she was before I went to the restroom!
