I used to get popcorn chicken from Vivi Boba Tea's Plano location at 15th and Custer. Their chicken was crispy and delicious. However, when I went back, it was closed. A friend told me they have another location in Frisco, so I tried it and found the same taste. The owner said they sold the Plano location, but someone else is selling the same food. Since I live in Plano, I tried the new owner location, but was disappointed. The chicken was too salty, with thick flour that overpowered the taste. Both curry and basil flavors were too salty. Now, I'm sticking with the Frisco location.

A nice boba spot with some food selection. The drinks are pretty and have some unique colors. Their boba quality is nice, but I wish some of their tea tastes were slightly stronger as it tastes watered down sometimes. Cute interior!

Great place to go if you're wanting boba AND a savory taiwanese snack. You can even get a full on meal like a bento. Not very many boba shops offer that. As far as drinks, there is a HUGE variety. I really like taro drinks with no boba and my kiddo loves the fruit yakult drinks with rainbow jelly. If you're going to stay for a little while, (they do have strong Wifi) you can get a snack portion or meal. We've had the fried fish (yum! crispy and hot! don't burn your tongue) and taiwanese sausage and popcorn chicken. You can't find better classic taiwanese snacks in this area.

Vivi has been established in Frisco for years before all the other shops came in and has been consistently great. The food is what separates it from other boba shops. I've had 4 different fried cutlet bentos and they've all been made to order and delicious. The sauces and seasoning they use is authentic and similar to what you'd find in Taiwanese night markets. Portions are big too! Popcorn chicken is among the best you'll find in DFW as well. The drinks are overall pretty good with a strong tea flavor. The fruit teas are very refreshing and made with fresh cut fruit inside. Don't be afraid to cross the street and give them a shot!

I drive by this Bubble tea shop everyday and never wear in. I paid them a visit today and was super impressed. The young girl working at the register was a little awkward when I asked her about things on the menu. She's probably new, other than that I love the bright colors, inside was airy and bright. I had the oreo Boba and it was super good.

This place is really great for my afternoon sugar fix! I love their flaming brown sugar boba! If I am not careful I will drink from there every day! I also love their selection of macarons and they have a deal where you buy 5, you get 1 for free to make it an even 6. It is also my go to stop because I love the inside. I love anything pink and pretty. I also love their taro tea, I have ordered that before to be delivered to my work via UberEats, but I have not actually tried their food. I am sure one day I will try it!

I can't remember when was the last time we visited here but we visited twice aa far as I can remember. This place is chic! It's a cool place for my children and they love to hang out here. They likes the popcorn chicken with rice. My wife ordered the curry katsu I think and she love the combo served to her. The way they served it to us was really good because they put enough effort to give us enough. The rice is filling as well as the vegetables. They didn't limit the servings of the food which is a big deal for me. My family will be back and our go to boba place. Service is pretty authentic.

Cute spot for boba tea and snacks! My teen loves coming here with friends and they usually split a curry or bento box. I've ordered their popcorn chicken and curry chicken bento boxes and the meal is very filling, with the chicken seasoned perfectly. I've ordered the ramen before and their bento boxes are better (if you really want a ramen fix, there are better options across the street) but it's very reasonably priced and offers variety on their menu. Very friendly staff and even when it's busy, they usually have a very quick turnaround to be able to get your drinks and food served quickly.

I was really craving Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and the pictures of this place that I saw on Yelp convinced me to try this place out! I ordered a popcorn chicken bento with a green milk tea plus boba. I thought it was really cool that they let you choose what flavor seasoning you want for your popcorn chicken. Off the top of my head, I remember there being spicy, garlic, and classic basil as options, but there were a couple more choices as well. The popcorn chicken was pretty good and authentic-tasting, but it definitely was not as fragrant as ones that I had before. I didn't really enjoy the rest of my bento though. The rice was drowning in overly sweet meat sauce, and the side veggies were pretty mediocre. My drink was decent though!

Vivi bubble tea is quickly becoming one of my favorite boba tea places. They have REALLY good Thai tea which is sometimes hard to find, their milk tea is really good too my sis loves it! The basil popcorn chicken IS SOOOO GOOD. I could eat 10000000 pieces of it. I wish I had some right now haha where I live this is the closest place to me with Basil popcorn chicken at 3 and a half hours. I haven't been able to try any other food because this is what I come for and it's soo good sometimes i order multiple orders knowing I won't be back for a while.

This probably isn't a fair review because your boba tea was great, and I'm sure your popcorn chicken is great... it's just that I want to get my tea at a tea place and my fried popcorn chicken and Vietnamese food at a food place. When we walked in we could smell the fried food smell and it was just a disconnect from the boba tea sights and smells we were expecting. They did have a good selection of macaroons.

I had the classic milk tea with no sugar and it just tasted very bland. I normally don't get sugar in any of the boba places I've tried and I've definitely had some that were way tastier, so it's not just because there was no sugar. The boba lacked any flavor. I could barely taste the tea in the milk tea base which is the whole reason I don't get sugar. Given the area and the plethora of boba places, I think they really need to step it up in order to stand out from all the other places. The interior is really cute and they have bird games to play. Service is good too. Note there is a $6 minimum for credit card. read more

I stopped by Vivi after class since I knew they were still fairly new to Frisco and as a boba addict, it's a must for me to try every boba place. Typically on my first visit, I try to order a black milk tea, unless something else really catches my attention. Their menu was big, with lots of unique flavors/combinations, so I decided to that I wanted to get something familiar, yet a little different. The girl working was super friendly, and gave me suggestions after I told her that it was my first time at Vivi. I ended up ordering the 3Q tea, which is milk tea with boba, grass jelly, and pudding. It was really good, and I believe it is one of their bestsellers! Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I would recommend anyone who's in the Frisco area to try it out! read more

Loved the place! Great boba tea shop, new addition to Frisco. Hits all the right spots for me! I got the peach oolong tea, lychee oolong tea, and the passion fruit QQ tea. All were very flavorful and just the right amount of bitterness/sweetness. The drinks actually tasted like oolong tea, not just like a flavored syrup was squeezed in. The teas were thick and great consistency, as in not just liquid sugar water. In other words, QUALITY. I haven't tried the milk tea but definitely will! We also got the renowned popcorn chicken- spicy and it was delicious! Juicy and crispy at the same time. Prices were a little steep but expected. Will definitely be back! read more

I've had a lot of boba, and saw great reviews about this place so I wanted to give it a shot. Went inside and ordered a large taro creme brûlée (paid almost 9$) and received what can only be described as warm sludge with boba. Absolutely disgusting and undrinkable. Feels like they make up drinks and don't try them before they go on the menu. Extremely unfortunate, as when I first saw this establishment I had high hopes. Save yourself the trip and visit a different boba tea location. read more

Peach ice jelly, fruit aloe tea, and popcorn chicken are my favorite things to get here. This location has a nice food menu that includes rice dishes and ramen. The space is big enough for groups or just to hang out with a few friends. It's really clean and not too noisy so studying is possible here. Service is disappointing though. Every time we come in, we're never greeted and they seem to be busier with other things. The service isn't very welcoming so hopefully they'll improve that over time. read more

So I saw someone post on FB about the bento at this place is awesome. So I was around the area and decided to give it a try. I mean it's not the worst thing ever but it's also not the best thing ever so I'm not sure what's the hype about it. So I got the Pork Chop bento and the sweetie the popcorn chicken Bento. The size is decent. Not so big but not small either and it tastes okay. But maybe I was having a big expectation on it due to people on FB say it was awesome. I did not try their drink so I might try it next time to see if it change the game for the bento with the drink. read more

Second time coming here and tea is pretty good not my go to place but it's pretty decent and it's pretty too lol. The drinks that aren't milk tea are tart and sweet. I feel like they focus on how it looks than how it taste. Everyone has there preferences and this is what I believe is going on here. Also got the macaroons pretty big but the price i feel is not at the right amount a little pricy for my taste. Have not tried there food yet but looks pretty good! Only thing I have tried is the Taiwanese sausages and it's pretty bomb Would get it again. Last is the atmosphere great place to bring your date too. Seems pretty relaxed here and they have board games and stuff too. Like the design on the walls and the theme. Great lighting in here too for the Instagramers! Lol Next time I'll come back and tried the food here and up date my review. read more

This place is super cute! My cousins got the blue galaxy which is perfect for pics! (Make sure to shake it alllll the way until it turns purple before poking your straw through or it won't taste right). My other cousin got the signature fruit tea and she loved it. However, I made the mistake of trying to be different and got the chocoberry. Wasn't really my thing. The staff was really nice :) They also have games to play while you drink. Overall a lovely place I just don't recommend the chocoberry read more

I ordered delivery thru Postmates which was a good experience. I got Thai Milk Tea and assumed it came with Boba bc in the picture it had Boba and there wasn't an option to add it, but it did not come with Boba so for that I take a star. I also got the BBQ chicken cutlet and it was amazing. Seasoning was perfection. read more

I tried the New York Chinatown location first so I was excited whenever this one opened. However, I would not recommend this location. The drinks are decent when the baristas make them right. The service needs improvement because the baristas seem to struggle with my questions and drink orders. read more

I got the Vivi milk tea (green tea) with boba with 50% sugar and no ice. You can't really taste a sense of tea in the drink. Even with no ice, the drink taste kinda watered down. The boba is not a good even consistency of soft and chewy. It was more on the harder and more chewier side. (If you want good boba, I suggest QQ Teahouse. They have unbeatable boba) My friends and I were confused by the difference of Vivi milk tea and Vivi Bubble Tea (this one is a bit more expensive than the first one) because the cashier explained to us that the Bubble Tea didn't include boba and had to be added on. Other than that unexplainable menu item, he was very nice. I would like to try some of their food items next time as it seems to be pretty good. read more

The combo which I got included Ramen & popcorn chicken for about $10. I got the beef favor soup and it was not bad. The popcorn chicken was juicy and tasty. It comes with 5 favors so I got the spicy one, but wasn't that spicy. As for the drink, I had 3Q Milk Tea and it was good. I also had Lychee shake with lychee jelly, 30% sugars, but I think it still too sweet. Friendly service. This place is like all the other boba places with stamps card so don't forget to ask for it. read more

One of the better bubble tea shops in Frisco currently. There are a lot in the area, but Vivi has the most quality tea and variety of flavors. Our favorite drinks here are the Oreo Creme Brulee and the Flaming Brown Sugar milk tea! And they have a legitimate food menu on top of it! This makes it a great spot for quick visits and more lengthy lunches/hardcore study sessions. read more

This place not only practices social distancing but their food is fresh and always tasty. I've ordered food and bubble tea from here for dine in, Uber eats and pickup plenty of times. It's one of the best places to get some Taiwanese food and enjoy a boba tea. The fact that they are so good about social distancing and managing cross contamination is a huge plus! read more

They give you big portions and every time my husband orders their pork chop plate, he always has leftovers for the next day. We order on their kiosks, but you can also order with the guy. He's very attentive and has great recommendations. Definitely recommend this place. We will probably be back within a week or so (: Will be remembering to take pictures of the food instead of scarfing it down and forgetting.

We were waiting for an almost embarrassingly long time before going up to check if our order was forgotten, just for it to be sitting on the counter unattended. We were some of the only people in the entire food court and sat nearby the restaurant, so we definitely would've heard them if they called our order number out. Overall a decent place for a quick meal.
