I had broken a nail on a Friday before I headed to Wenatchee from Spokane. I couldnt wait 4 days to return back home and go to my usual place. I called around to 4 places to see if anyone could squeeze me in Saturday morning. The owner answered the phone and asked me if I could come in at 8:30am which is earlier than they open. It was incredibly kind of him to do that and he did a fantastic job. The place is clean and organized. I would absolutely reccomend this place and return whenever I need my nails done in Wenatchee. read more

I went here for the first time and was shocked at how terribly the place smelled of acetone and nail polish. Although it was only 60° outside and almost 6 pm, the place was almost as hot as sitting in a sauna. I placed an appointment for 5:40 p.m and got there 5 minutes early. I sat and waited for 35 minutes before I actually got my nails started, and two walk-ins got seated and cared for before I even did. The woman who was doing my nails was acting rushed and only cared about getting off work in time and rushed me out the door. It's cramped and hotter than hell. After much consideration and research with coworkers, a friend and I decided on going here for our newest nail venture. First off, the SMELL. Holy GOD, we had to take a break before our appointment just to keep concious. Even though she and I had appointents that we set up 2 weeks prior (at least) they REFUSED to let us sit near each other, and made my friend wait for over 20 minutes as they took 2 walk-ins before her. I was never given a manicure, or even had my nails or hands looked at for grooming or anything for that matter prior to him starting the acrylics. I asked to have nails no longer than the end of my fingertips (as I work in the healthcare field), and was told that with the almond shape that was not possible. Also, instead of almond shape, I was given a stiletto shape, which I personally think is hidious and not professional. My nails are completely uneven near the nail bed, thanks to no manicure or cuticle trimming, and some of the nails on the backside were not swept completely free of the acrylic, and it's impossible to clean underneath them because of it. My coworker's manicure that she was hoping would last until her wedding 2 weeks later, was already bubbling and peeling as we were walking out the door. Two days later, her french tips were completely gone, and had to go to another nail salon to get them redone. I had such high hopes for this place, and I will be calling to cancel the appointment that I had stupidly scheduled with them on the way out the door. Please don't waste your time, or your brain cells that will inevitably die the moment you step in the door from the unwelcomed chemical high. read more

I had a pedicure and a gel manicure done today. Vivian did my manicure and she did a wonderful job. However, the gal that did my pedicure did a horrible job. She left paint all over my toes and didn't cover my toe nails completely. The pedicure felt rushed and was so sloppy. It wasn't worth the $30 because I could have done a better job. read more

BAD PLACE! Low quality! Don't not recommend. I went and got a gel pedi and mani on Saturday by Tuesday by nails were chipped. A young lady said to go in Thursday to get my nails fixed free of charge. When I finished they wanted to charge me 25 and the guy who did my nails pretended like he didn't know anything! UGH I had to fight for it and still got charged! The place was really busy. I could tell many of the people came there often. My pedicure polish, while it looked beautiful, starting sluffing off after less than three weeks. Within a few days all the toes except for the 'big' one, were peeling off. No polish remover needed! Usually, my pedicures have lasted for months. I will go somewhere else next time. read more

My friend and I went together and I was really disappointed that even though we made our appointment in advance, we were separated as far away from one another as possible. 2 people that came in after us were seated next to each other, next to my friend, and I was at the end of the line from her. I asked before they sat someone next to my friend, if we could sit together because they called her over and there was an empty chair next to her. They said no and made me wait forever, sat two girls next to her and then had me be seated. I think due to my slight annoyance at this, they spitefully gave me HOT water to put my hands in. It was boiling and he was laughing at the fact it was clearly too hot for my hands. To make things worse, when we left I noticed that two of my gel nails were already pealing off. I had to use superglue just to keep most of the nails on. Unfortunately for my wedding day a little less than two weeks later, I needed to go somewhere else to have my nails redone. I wouldn't recommend this place. But J & K Nails did an amazing job cleaning up their mess... YAY! read more
