Wow, where do we begin? I contacted David and Ashily back in December of 2021, as we were hoping to book them for a 2022 wedding. At the time, Ashily was the main point of contact and she was so responsive to all my questions our email exchanges. She was so patient with my long list of questions, that I was so excited to be able to book her. When we found out that we were going to push our wedding back to 2023, we decided to pause on wedding planning altogether until we set an official date. Ashily and David are truly magical when it comes to professional photography. It's never easy to do a photoshoot with two large dogs and we were very grateful and amazed by David's patience and kindness during the duration of our shoot. We just received our full set of photos today, earlier than promised and my husband I were blown away by the photos! We usually do an annual family shoot and have used various photographers throughout the years. We have two young toddlers so it's always difficult to capture them in nice photos. I was going to travel from out of state from the east coast for a shooting session. After telling me that the date would work and how she would be accommodating, I had booked the plane ticket. Then all of a sudden she tells us she is overbooked. Now I have to cancel my vacation days at work and my plane ticket unless I scramble to find another photographer. She also doesn't photoshop any of her pictures. She sounds proud of that but why hire a photographer if they dont do any photoshop? Price is high for someone who just puts a filter on the pictures. Please just give her a deposit before having ANY discussion about the date or the location AT ALL. All she wants and cares about is money to even talk to her as a potential client and if you don't give it to her she will cancel on you on the day you book a flight and worked with all your colleagues by getting PTO approved. Ashily, you should've just asked for the deposit first because you never even asked me once (I have all of our conversations and I looked back to confirm) and acted like you were in an agreement during all of our encounters. On the day you canceled you told me once via text that the date would work and then again that same day in the evening you and David told me over the phone it was fine. Literally 5 minutes later you cancelled on me via email. As for the body image comment, how dare you say such a thing? It is my right as a customer to ask if you do photoshop editing. All of the other photographers in the industry will provide 10-30 photoshopped images which you don't and your price is still much higher.
