I've been going to Voci for many years. This year I went in early summer for injections to fill very small lines on either side of my mouth. Dr Voci made a decision to inject higher up on my face to get after the lines which I have had filled several times before. 1st- I didn't know until checkout that it would be close to 1800 dollars. Typically I stay under 1,000. I wasn't happy with the results because I didn't see any results for the lines but I sucked it up and just said next time I go in, Ill be sure to not do that again. I waited longer to go back until I paid off that treatment. I go back in September and kindly let Dr Voci know that the past treatment didn't really work and so she injected me nearer to the lines. It was pretty painful which is fine but not usual. I thanked her and went on my way with another 1000. Immediately following there were balls within my skin on the inside of my mouth on each side which was from the painful injection. The right side of my mouth you can see the bump by looking at me. Again I dont mind this as long as I can see the lines on either side of my mouth improve. The lines are the size of my pinky fingernail. I CALLED VOCI to let them know and they told me to wait a couple weeks. I did and nothing changed. Im at almost 3,000 and I just have these things that can be seen and felt. They finally let me come in. I sat in Dr Vocis chair. She really had nothing to say or to offer except maybe I need a face-lift. I promise I dont need a face-lift. She felt the bumps in my mouth and saw there was no improvement. I was very kind and said thank you. She didn't say 1 word to me. Not even goodbye. Here I am a month later with the bumps on my face inside and out where she clearly messed up when she injected me. I went to another practice who said Im not at a point where I need a face-lift and they would not inject me because of the collection of the filler that is at the sites. It could have been hematomas but they would have disolved by now. Im ok with these types of things as it goes with the territory. Im not ok with the treatment of the doctor. It is really bad business. I had one other rude incident with the front desk awhile back. Thats a whole other story. The manager keeps removing my google review! The owner of this establishment has treated all employees at one point or another like they are worthless. Employed estheticians are not given the same opportunities as others to advance in their career and offer medical services such as laser, etc. so if you are looking to build a medical esthetics career, do not work here. I've witnessed multiple employees being let go for the most absurd and unprofessional reasons. Yonka is also not a professional brand you should use on your skin, do not invest money in the facials that include them, they are filled with fragrance and will break most skin types out. The owner does not deserve to profit off the backs of the employees she treats like garbage and I strongly advise you to take your money elsewhere! read more

Where to begin here? The women who work here? The actual store front? The products? The services? Ahh. Well. Let me try my best. I found out about Voci Medspa through a commercial on the radio. (106.5) I had never been to a place like this because, well, I'm a man. People, it's 2020, can we not take care of our skin/self too? My first visit here was very welcoming, no weird looks or judgment. Just straight up knowledge and wanting to know what my thoughts/concerns were. I told Lori that I was concerned about my eyebrows, I don't know. They just seemed out of control. However, I didn't want my brows to look "on fleek" but just, well kept. Without hesitation, Lori knew exactly what to do. Didn't hurt, she was great to talk to, in and out! I love it. I will continue to have this be home base for my skin needs. My next thing that I tried out was the silk dermal infusion. Oh boy, let me tell you. A silk dermal infusion cleans all of the dirt and bacteria out of your pours, and rehydrates the skin. It feels amazing, almost like a cats tongue licking your face. This is something I had never done before, and I am so glad I did. Wendy was the one who took care of me for this. Wendy did my Eyelash and Eyebrow Tinting and I was very pleased with this service so I booked an appointment with her the following week for a Silk Dermal Infusion Facial Treatment and I really enjoyed this as well! I also booked a Juvéderm lip injection with Linda! She was excellent! This was my first time getting any type of injection's. Linda sat me down and before she started, explained everything to me. She was friendly and knowledgeable and instantly made me feel comfortable. Even when I got a little anxious after she started she paused for a moment and got me a cold washcloth. Laid me back a little bit more and then asked if it was OK to proceed. I felt much better and she proceeded. I could tell that she really cared and she takes her work seriously. I am so pleased! What an awful place Voci Spa has become. All the wonderful are fired . I have no idea where these people have now come from. I went to Voci Spa in Stonecrest for more than 20 years. I had an appointment last Monday. When i arrived , I KNEW THE ATMOSPHERE HAD CHANGED. two women took me back to a room and started badgering me accusing me of drinking alcohol and taking drugs, The one in 8 inch heels was bordering on evil..Told me they could not keep my appointment. They told me I was slurring my speech, I do not drink or take drugs or drink alcohol. I am just an older woman. I had a real small mini stroke more than a year ago that affects my speech in a small way when I get nervous, My doctor says I am fine..I never had problems with Linda or Nicole or any one. I have been going to Voci Spa for several years now. Linda does my Botox and most recently my Radiesse in my cheeks. I was very nervous about getting filler as it was my first time. Linda always takes her time explaining the product she is using, what is does and how it is going to work. She takes time in your consultation and doesn't try to up sell you and already makes sure you are completely comfortable. She keeps my look natural and balanced which I love. The good: my facial with Lori was great. Very relaxing and felt great after. My skin felt awesome. The bad: went back a week later for massage. Showed up for my appointment and was told by the receptionist that there was a problem with the schedule. While telling me this, she did not make eye contact with me, but remained typing on the computer to inform me that I did not have an appointment. She told me they tried calling me and left a voicemail..which, after I looked, they did. When they called I was unable to answer and it went to voicemail, and I had forgotten about it. However, I did receive a confirmation via text so I figured it was fine (see pic). When they attempted to reschedule for the next week, they did not have a time that worked with my schedule with my preferred therapist. I said "forget it" and walked out. Btw I had taken the day off for this appointment and I let them know this. I realize it was a mix up and they did try to reach out via voicemail. However, I find it poor customer service that they didn't call back and try to work something out after I was obviously upset. read more

I've now visited Voci Spa twice, each time for a prenatal massage. I've had a great experience each time. Services are very reasonably priced, the atmosphere is very clean and tranquil and the actual massages were soooo relaxing. The ladies up front are really helpful too -- I purchased a gift certificate over the phone for my grandma's mothers day and they made it very easy for me. My grandma is really picky about massages (it's difficult for her to get on and off the table, she worries, the therapist will use too much pressure, etc) and thankfully, she absolutely loved her experience here, too. I'd say this is a reliable place to go for a great massage! I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever about this place -- parking is easy and it's in a lovely shopping center, so you can browse the cute little boutiques or enjoy lunch after your massage. Next time I'm visiting my family in Charlotte, I'm sure I'll be back. read more

BEWARE of their Laser Treatments! I had a very bad experience and wanted to share, because no one should have to go through this. At my first laser hair removal session, the person doing it accidentally shot the laser directly into my eyes (within 2 feet distance). Fortunately, I was wearing the protective glasses. Nevertheless, everything seemed shinier afterwards and I eventually started having moderate headaches (I don't normally suffer from headaches). That evening, my left eye starting hurting. I freaked out and went to see an emergency Ophtalmologist. She didn't find any superficial damage and told me to schedule a full eye exam, which took some time. After that, I contacted the owner and told her over the phone the experience I had. I also mentioned the lack of professionalism of the person doing the treatment (not everything was discussed in the initial consultation, I had to call afterwards to clarify several points; I had to fill out a form with medical information prior to the treatment, which she didn't even look at; she looked disoriented in that room and just said that was not her usual room; etc.). She said she was so sorry, she was going to refund me that session and also offered to cover the costs of those Ophtalmologist bills. She even offered a $100 gift card on top. I was supposed to send her the bills after I had my full eye exam and she was going to write me a check. I thought to myself, "Ok, at least she is taking accountability and provides a good customer service". But then, after I had the eye exam (which thanks God showed my eyes looked fine) and sent her the 2 bills I never heard back from them. I emailed them to follow up on it. And the owner called me with quite a different tone to let me know that she had contacted the laser hair removal machine manufacturer and asked about the incidence and that they told her there was no way I could have had any damage based on the story. She insisted my eyes were ok based on that and that she shouldn't have to pay for those bills. She then said that the lady doing the treatment had told her that she didn't shoot into my eyes. She refused to return the money of that session as well, insisting that those services were already provided. I was very surprised... I learned my lesson the hard way: for sensitive treatments such as those involving laser, better have it done at a professional dermatologist praxis, by a certified dermatologist. There is so much that can go wrong in the hands of someone lacking proper training. As for their customer service, I find it very unusual. But everyone is different and it is what it is. All I can say is, karma matters. read more

Out of stock on every makeup item my grandmother needed. Did not offer competitive prices on spa services. Very hard to book massages as they have a small staff and high turnover. And as my grandmother was purchasing her items we got to listen to the receptionist go on about her Bumble or tinder date to the other receptionist. I thought that to be really professional....just happy my grandmother is too old to understand what was being discussed. I feel rather sheepish writing this update. I was very impressed with my nurse, Sheila, who had year of experience and new ideas about what to do with drooping corners of my mouth and eyes. After ten days, there is improvement, but not what I was hoping for. I am disappointed. I had always gone to a dermatologist for Botox or other fillers and always got the results I was expecting. My husband also had Sheila use Botox on his prominent forehead lines, lines between the eyes, and crows feet. His forehead shows definite improvement, though one line is still quite noticeable, only one side of his crows feet are better, but the lines between his eyes are as deep as ever. He is very disappointed and refuses to use Voci Spa again. I am wondering about the quality of the Botox used, how fresh it is, if it is indeed what is used in a dermatologist's office, or if it has had other ingredients added to it. The price was $10 per unit, which is about right, though many places charge $12. I still think Sheila is great at knowing where and what to inject, but if management's policy is to use a less effective product, then expertise can't possibly make up the difference. I doubt I will return to Voci myself. Like my husband, I'll be looking for a derm's office who specializes in injectables. I am sorry I had to write this second review after my initial enthusiasm and hopefulness. read more

I've always loved the open houses in Voci Spa, but this last one was very disappointing. The eye brows with Stephanie was great but massage was lame and felt almost insulting - the therapist barely touched me. And it was soooooo short - like 2 minutes! We waited in line for at least an hour! I asked - is this it? Yes, she answered - it's so many of you... Did you not expect any for the open house and free advertised massage?? Also, had previous problems with scheduling massage. So disappointed :( I have been here twice. The first time was very nice but today was very frustrating. I scheduled a 90 minute massage and everything was good until she said she was done. That was the shortest 90 mins ever. Turns out it was only an hour (actually only 55mins). She said that was all I was scheduled for. The front desk too my reservation wrong and their only attempt at good customer service was "sorry, I don't know what happened". There was no other attempt to make it right. I wanted my other 30 mins!!! I work six days a week and have a small child. The stars only aligned every 6 months for me to take an afternoon for myself. So I was sent off and I still have to pay a babysitter for the full time I reserved her for b/c I'm fair unlike others. Not relaxing at all! read more

Great spa. Everyone is very friendly and answered my questions about future services because I received a gift certificate for xmas. I went in for a sports massage with Martin because I had pain in my neck from a tight muscle. I've had this pain before and no one has been able to help. Marty used different massage techniques and most of my pain is gone since the massage yesterday. He was so pleasant and helpful and explained the different types of massage therapy so I could understand what I need in the future. I love this place in Stonecrest. It's just big enough to still be intimate and the staff does a good job of making you feel special. Mary Rust is the best and I always go to her. I usually just do a half hour massage on my back because that's usually all you need with her. There were several times I needed her to do a deep tissue in order to really push the lactic acid out and each time her hands performed magic. I recommend Mary to all my friends. I'm sure there are other good people there as well and to be honest, I recommend you try some of the others so that I can still get in with Mary! read more

I have been to voci spa twice. Once my husband got me a certificate for Christmas a year ago and again recently for a prenatal massage. It was AMAZING! I had Janet both times and she is absolutely sweet and does a great job! The spa is very clean and the staff at the counter are very nice and helpful. I will definitely continue coming for more prenatal massages and continue after I have the baby. Their prices are very reasonable and lower than some other spas I have been to. read more

Terrible experience with AJ and terrible experience with owner when I asked to fix the problem,because i looked much better without botox than with it and I looked like o Joke ,because my brows dropped so bad and my left brow was higher than right one I was promised many times that owners will call me back .. I went to Voci to get a massage and I found out after I arrived that they had booked me with the wrong massage therapist... The massage was so awful, I requested a refund. They claim it's an hour massage, but mine was more like 45 minutes.. Also, everytime I would call up there to book an appointment, I was placed on hold and would immediately have to call back because they forgot I was on hold!! Maybe they should hire more help, apparently there is only one person answering the phones lol! I spoke w/Lori Voci to voice my concerns and she was rude and condescending.. And she is one of the "Office Managers".??!! She has no clue how to run a business and lacks simple social skills.... I'm sure this is a lovely spa; but tonight while passing with my one year old dog one cleaning lady stated "get that dog out of my face." My dog wasn't even close to her, nor did she bark or look remotely vicious. She's a very curious puppy, she glanced for a second then continued on her way to our car. Very sad to see a wonderful store have such miserable people cleaning for them at night. This is more of a PSA not to walk your dogs near there at night unless you want rude and unnecessary comments. read more

But, if I need a brow wax and can't get in to Lori, I've gone to who is available and so far I've been happy with everyone there.
