She has the audacity to ask me if I knew I was sick yesterday and why I didn't cancel sooner. I get that ideally she would want a longer notice. However, I felt fine yesterday and went to urgent care on my lunch today for the sore throat and got the diagnosis. She got snotty with me on the phone, even after explaining all of this (when she should be thanking me for not spreading my germs) and completely lost my business. Bottom line - She *might* be good at skincare, but she IS NOT professional. *Edited to add... Terri sent me a text at 9:45pm to let me know that she would try to rebut this review. This further solidifies just how unprofessional she is. She had my email and could have reached out to me there. Again, there is NO defense for her unprofessionalism in the way she handled my situation. As previously stated, she jumped down my throat when I told her why I cancelled. She admitted, THERE IS NO CANCELLATION POILCY. I told her I could still show up, but figured she did not want my germs, and she agreed. Have a nice life, Terri.

After receiving the same peel from Terri, I received burns on my face, This had NEVER happened to me before. When I finally got a hold of her, her response after yelling at me that I ruined her day off was that I was neurotic because my husband is much younger than me??? Unprofessional Kind ? There was nothing kind about Terri's response. On Saturday, I called her for advice at 8:45am. She did not return my call until 1pm. At that point, I had already been to the doctor who informed me that I had a chemical burn that needed to be treated. I did not return Terri's call because her voicemail did not voice any concern for me what so ever (even after I sent her the pictures), and in fact she told me to "stop googling things on the internet" that I had superficial burns. Again, I have had this procedure done many times in the past with NO burns on my skin, just peeling. Now, I have to hope that these burns heal and do not leave a scar. As for unkind words, I finally called Terri back and I was appauled when I was told that I "ruined her day off" and now her Sunday, and proceeded to tell me I was overreacting because I married younger man and I am insecure ? really? Look at the pictures, I was burned and she could not take a step back beyond her own ego to even apologize or offer any help. I really do not want this to happen to anyone else, and that is why I am taking the time out to respond.

After my first session, Mrs. Desiree immediately booked an 8 week followup for a small touch-up, and educated me on hygiene care of my eyebrows through their healing process. She even gave me a free after care kit that came in handy after my touch-up follow-up as well. I ended up getting a severe case of poison Sumac that at first glance, seemed to be an allergic reaction to my recent microblading session. But ,because Mrs. Desiree was a nurse, I felt comfortable enough to reach out to her. We chatted through her chat line and she immediately texted me through her own cell phone number. She was able to guide me in regards to confirming it was not likely an allergic reaction to the microblading, but perhaps something else, and helped make the decision to go to an urgent care that confirmed poison sumac as the culprit. Mrs. Desiree was amazing during the appointment, and after hours. I will definitely be back especially since she now does lip blushing now.

After more than 20 sugaring services, this is not based on the quality of the providers, but due to the owner's short-sighted policies around their own "customer loyalty" program. When I recently presented my completed loyalty card for the advertised 50 percent discount, I was informed it could only be redeemed with the original provider, who no longer works there. That restriction was not communicated when the card was issued (nor is it printed on the card), and customers have no control over staff turnover. Staff contacted the owner, Kristen, who decided chose not to honor the promotion. While the providers I had, (Nou and Kait) were consummate professionals, the ownership seems to lack focus on customer satisfaction and retention. I happily supported a small business, holding up my side of the equation and expected the owner to do the same. Apparently my loyalty was not a priority and I will take my business elsewhere.

Pinnacle is owned by BayPine, LP, a private equity firm with about 95 locations nationwide. The onboarding was cumbersome, and both the local office and me have struggled adjusting to a national v. local practice. Let's just say I'm not a fan of what's happening to our country through these predatory acquisitions, e.g. Pinnacle Dermatology. However, in spite of my gripe about PEI, I support the local office and it's personnel. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter checking for ugly moles all over my body. Go here.
