What a great little salon! Super nice people and I wish I knew my gent's name but he is the really funny one... I needed some serious help with my feet - I swear I was sloughing skin on my yoga mat the morning before I went, yikes - and while their normal "basic" pedi is $30 (so more than I am used to at the $23-25 found at places in Atlanta I usually go) I splurged on the lavender, which is $38. For my feet and legs, and coming off a back injury, it was so worth it. The extra parts include a stronger scrub for calluses, which has a lavender scent, and later a SERIOUS slathering of lotion thick as shaving cream for both legs, which are then wrapped up tight in hot towels. Along with the perfect-condition massage chair that I kept kneading my lower back the whole time, everything was just... ahhhhh. The lady went through my nail bed to the skin underneath with the drill when removing my gel. She did it three times. I finally had to request another person to finish. It hurt so badly and now I have a hole in my nail. I wish I could leave zero stars. And they still made me pay for it. Unreal. I should have known when the salon is empty that it's for a reason. I'm not from Charleston. I chose Vogue Nails based on location. I wanted to get a gel pedicure along with my niece and my daughter was getting an SNS manicure. The nail tech handed me a menu in a book format, I flipped to the page title pedicure and let her know that I'd like a deluxe pedicure. According to the book the price was $48. To be honest, I wasn't too thrilled with the nail tech. When she began the pedicure she didn't ask me if I wanted my nails cut, she just trimmed them and trimmed them too short. To top it off when she was trimming my cuticles she literally cut off my pinky toes nail. My nail is very small, but there was definitely one there before I walked in to Vogue Nails. She was pleasant and friendly, just didn't care for her technique. When it was time for me to pay, she charged me $69 for my pedicure and $55 for my daughter's SNS manicure. I questioned the price as the book stated it was $48 for a deluxe pedicure. the nail tech and owner, both told me the pedicure was $48, but there is an $18 fee to get gel polish and a $3 fee to remove the gel polish at the beginning of the pedicure. I expressed my irritation as I thought that was ridiculous. The ridiculous part being that I was charged for these additional fees without being told about them until I was checking out. My nail tech was very cold with a "oh well" kind of attitude and the owner basically told me, that the price is listed in the book and it's my fault for not seeing it. I looked at the menu book again to find out the fees for the gel polish and removal were listed 2 pages after the pedicure fees. Therefore, I didn't see them, there was no reason for me to continue reviewing the book as I located the pedicure I wanted and the price was fair. The gentleman who checked us in nor my nail tech made me aware of the additional $18 or $3 charge for the gel polish and gel polish removal. I do not agree with this business's practice. I believe their menu is extremely misleading. Customer's should be made aware of all fees before a service is completed and I don't feel that was communicated well by any means. I thought the owner's reaction was inappropriate. Her response to me, this is how everyone does it in Charleston, basically saying sorry about your luck was not customer friendly. I will admit this irritated me and caused a reaction I may not always be proud of. Then, I go to pay for my niece's deluxe gel pedicure and she charges me $45. When I questioned her about the rate, she said, she gets a 10% discount for being a student and because she comes in here all the time. 10% off of $70 is $7, making her total $63. I will not go back to Vogue Nails again and do not recommend this salon to others. I think they are way over priced and do not conduct good/fair business practices. read more

There were tree other woman relaxing while having pedicure treatments. I sat in the chair directed to me. The manicurit's pointed to the tub of water to indicate I should put mt feet in. I had to pull them out quickly, as the water was way too hot. She must have been in a hurry for her lunch break, as she roughly and quickly got into the business of doing her job. I pulled away several times as a reflex to her rough treatment, but she didn't seem to notice. She slapped on the polish before getting to my hands. I was dismissed as the other ladies were just finishing their pedicures. In the beginning I was handed a price list of treatments. I pointed to the $40. one. With a brilliant smile, she handed me the bill of $60. I had to reshape my nails later. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

I came in with very limited time as I traveled to South Carolina for a wedding the night before. With one hour to get a manicure and pedicure, the ladies at Vogue Nail jumped in and took extremely great care of me. They took care of the mani/pedicure at the same time while still making me feel like a queen. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable along with being massage chairs. The spa is one of the cleanest I've been to and I've been to many. If you haven't had the pleasure of being treated like a queen at your usual spa, give Vogue a try. You won't be disappointed! Made an appointment with a friend for mani/pedis and they got us in quickly. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and but really had to take her time to make sure it looked good, which I do appreciate but my friend was done with the same service about 20 minutes before me. The pedicure over all was great, message and cuticle care was thorough, but she mentioned the polish seemed runny and started severely chipping about 3 days after the pedicure. But the gel manicure is really the reason for the lower stars. The manicurist nicked my cuticle causing it to bleed enough for liquid bandage to be needed before she could continue (I've never had this happen in all my frequent manicures). As a frequent gel manicure goer I can usually go 2 weeks before the polish starts coming up. This gel started coming up 3 days after the manicure (while I was on vacation too) and was almost completely off one hand by day 6! read more

The appointment was 1:30 - which really didn't matter since I wasn't seated in the pedicure chair until 2:05 and then waited another 5+ minutes for a woman to provide me with an extremely lackluster pedi. Not enough time for the manicure. Extremely disappointed. Had a nice enough experience getting a pedicure and SNS manicure, however the result falls short. The SNS has only been on for 6 days and 5 of my nails are already cracked or chipped. Anyone who has had SNS done, knows that they should not crack so quickly, especially when there was no tip applied for length. This salon is close to my work so I go once in awhile when I'm done work. It's a good thing it is close otherwise I don't think I would keep going back. The staff are nice when you first walk in but there has been several occasions where I'm asked to go to a table and my nail tech is sitting across from me on their phone with no acknowledgement of me even being there. Don't plan on being in a rush when you are there! After getting my nails done almost every time within a week I notice a crack in two or more of my nails. The shine hasn't even worn off yet before I already have a crack. I keep getting the more and more expensive powders and gels to ensure they won't crack but every time they do. The salon is nice and if you want a simple mani/pedi and live in the area then sure it's an ok place to go but for additional services I would suggest going. read more

Very nice and friendly staff (reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1) Pedicure was average (I did the lavender for $38) definitely overpriced for what you get, but a pedi always feels great. However my SNS was terrible! The way he shaped my nails (I wanted square) and then did not shape around my cuticles yet still cut me. They look terrible. Very disappointed. SNS was $45. This is my favorite nail salon in Mount Pleasant. I've lived here for 10 years and I finally found a place I love. The staff is so friendly and hard working. They always remember me and give me VIP service. I tried the SNS, powder nails, 6 months ago and they are so much better than acrylic or gel nails. They rarely chip or break. But if they do the staff is happy to repair. The same is true for pedicures. I look forward to a relaxing appointment and they always make time for me if I drop in without one. First time at Vogue and had a great experience. Enjoyed a wonderful honey pearl pedicure with excellent leg and foot massage--heavenly. Gel dip on my fingernails was as good as I've ever had done. The salon is beautifully decorated and with nice background music and without the standard nail salon tv, it was quite relaxing. My technician was Hung and I highly recommend him. This is a very nice nail salon! Very impressed with their customer service and how quickly we were attended to. It wasn't crowded and I didn't have an appointment. Ty, the owner, is the sweetest and he did my nails perfect. I tried the SNS nails and so far, I love them. SNS is supposed to be better than gel and acrylic, is good for applying to natural nails and last for up to 4 weeks!! There's a multitude of colors for this type as well. If you have kids, this is the best place to take your daughters for mommy/daughter day out. There are spa chairs specially made for the little ones. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. When I asked if he was sick he said ''no allergies'' I thinking he was lying. Then to top it off they charged me $48 for an acrylic Fill. This is not rocket science. I pay $30. Where I live. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I wasn't expecting to pay $50 for SNS on my REAL nails. I have never paid over $40. With acrylics, I would pay anywhere from $40-$55 depending on what I got. Today, I got a basic color with nothing special. I honestly wish I could get my money back because I wouldn't have gotten my nails done there if that was the charge. I could have gone elsewhere for much cheaper. I'm in so much shock for the cost. I was also told I got 15% for being a new customer so that means the charge is normally $58? That's absurd. I am highly upset at how much I was charged. The guy, which I believe is the owner, didn't even offer to give it to me cheaper since they didn't discuss price with me before starting working on my nails. My nails look good, don't get me wrong but I was very blindsided. I've had the same job done elsewhere for much cheaper. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

We had a wonderful experience at the salon! On Tuesday, we went in to have manicures and pedicures for my sisters wedding on Saturday. They were absolutely perfect! We all had gel French manicures and didn't need any touches up (they would have if we had needed them!) and still looking great a week later. The salon is beautiful and clean. Charged me $253 (before tip) for 3 gel manicures and 3 gel pedicures. Only did 2 layers of gel polish and so it was already coming off within 4 days on all of us. For that price they should be doing 4-5 layers of gel. They also didn't mention that they charge additional if you do more than one color until we were all 3 completely done and standing at the register. Why does it matter if it's all gel? It's not like it was mixing gel and SNS -- we just did a finger in a different color! I guess they think they can take advantage of vacationers and treat them like garbage. read more
