It is less than 24 hours later, and three entire nails the polish/dip fell off. Completely clean off! I've NEVER had that happen before! It's crazy! So 24 hours later and $90.00, I am missing three nails without polish! Ridiculous! Before writing this, I just called and spoke with the manager to provide her with the opportunity to resolve this and I am in disbelief. She talked over me, interrupted me multiple times with nonsensical excuses as per why she couldn't provide a solution and told me there nothing she could do unless my family wanted to come back and get $5/$10/$20. I will NEVER go there again. The old lady who did my nails either couldn't see or didn't care. She buffed my nails like I was a lumberjack, then cut into the quick until it bled on three fingers. She just looked at me, didn't apologize or anything. Just kept on clipping. My fingers were sore for 3 days. I didn't pay to get hurt, I paid for a relaxing experience. First time trying this place since I was in the area from out of town. I walked in and they took me in right away with no wait. My stylist Quinn was very friendly, and chatty. I got a dip powder nail set done with no added tips. I didn't like her way of doing ombre design. I am used to it being done with dip powder being sprinkled on. She used white paint with a sponge applicator. The difference was obvious, so I will be sure to ask in the future when I get this done again. This paint came in a compact case and wasn't even a no chip polish. By the same evening on day one I got 2 chipped nails, so I am not happy about that. I appreciate that she took her time and made me feel comfortable. But for a 9O dollar job including tips I expected it to hold up at least a week to start cracking. Dirty tools. They don't clean the tools they use in between customers. They don't even disinfect them. I went here a few times until my last pedicure when I was cut with the cuticle cutters. I needed to go to urgent care and that's when the doctor said the unclean tools led to an infection in my toe. I needed to take antibiotics and use a topical ointment to get rid of the infection. It's a shame because the people who work there have always been kind. But I can't support a place that doesn't take hygiene or their customers health seriously. read more

My first time getting my nails done in Charleston, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Overall the experience was pretty good. I really like the solid colored nails as well as the cloudy design on my ring finger. I would have preferred a lighter pink or beige, but still the ombré was done really well. I understand every nail tech is different and has their own process, so I probably stayed quiet about every mistake until the very last minute. My left thumbnail was significantly longer than the right thumbnail, I had to tell the nail tech to match each nail together to make sure they're the same length. They're still a bit uneven but it's not that noticeable. My middle fingers had the most complicated design so a generous amount of product was put onto those fingers. I had to ask my tech 3 times to shave it down because that nail looked unnaturally thick, still thicker than the other nails. It's what I'm used to and my personal preference to get my cuticles cut during my full set and having the cuticle oil rubbed in so my hands aren't so oily when I pull out my form of payment. I didn't get that here but again personal preference. All the workers were very nice and accommodating, clean place, perfect for simple designs. The first time I came, we were meet with a friendly greeting, but then passed off to not so kind staff. We were a group of 3 and felt a bit rushed/ they were annoyed we came together as a group. Besides my Fingers and toes being two different colors (despite my inquires for confirmation / voicing it looked different) they did a good job. So I attempted to come back. Solo this time and no appointment. Got in a pedicure chair very quickly, and that tech was sweet and did a fantastic job. I waited 20 minutes after pedicure for my turn to get my acrylic fill. While my feet were still soaking in the pedicure, I saw another customer walk in and asked to be accommodated without appointment and requested the male tech... well while I was waiting post pedicure, the male tech was the first to be free to do hands and they sat her before me. I quietly and politely got up and headed to check out. I have no problem waiting my turn, but to allow cuts? They then tried to say she had an appointment and then took that back and said she'd been waiting in her car, obviously unaware I had witnessed her walk in. Now I have unmatching feet and hands and will not be back due to customer service. I don't care how good a product is if the service is not good nor fair The business owner reply is inaccurate. I have been coming to so nice nails since they opened almost a year and a half to going onto two years. They have held onto my business because of how amazing of a job they've always done and they've treated me like family. They could attest that I was in there if not every other week at least twice a month and I always did pedicure and manicure services and tipped Them more than appropriately because of how appreciative and gracious I was as a customer. The last two times I've gone I've run into an issue with scheduling and this specifically goes towards Wendy the receptionist who books the appointments. The first couple times I didn't mention it but like I said, It didn't happen once nor twice but the third time before I actually said something to her about how I find it unprofessional to wait 45 minutes when I booked an appointment over the phone. I'm very patient and I have been getting my nails done for a long time so I am no stranger to a quick 15 minute wait because I know things come up but Wendy didn't even hold herself accountable nor did she apologize when I said something to her which by the way I pulled her to the side and didn't mention anything in front of the customers because that's how much respect I had for this establishment. As I begin expressing my thoughts I'm quickly interrupted by Wendy and her response was she was never going to book me over the phone again and that I'll have to just walk in and see if who I want is available if not wait. when I asked why because what is the point of appointments Her response was she couldn't book me over the phone because I'm gonna get mad if I have to wait. She wasn't apologetic she wasn't sincere I almost broke down in tears as I'm sitting there not yelling at her just expressing how upset I am to have wait so long yet once again. I asked her one more time so you won't book me ever again and she said no and then I said fine then I guess this will be my last service here ever and her response was let me walk you to the door. Like are you kidding such poor customer service I'm a human being and I treat others like human beings so never did I disrespect call anyone names raise my voice or anything I just expressed my concerns as a paying customer should. On my way out I said goodbye to Andy who I absolutely love I think he does a phenomenal job on nails and I also said goodbye to Mia who I also love she does great toes. But This is how they treat someone who has spent thousands of dollars supporting them the first chance they get. Wendy, you should be ashamed of herself and upper management should be aware of how their lead receptionist is treating their customers. So nice nails is not so nice. I missed Jennie the wife of the owner when they first opened she was very easy-going and communicative things ran smoother then. I can even give credit to Wendy in the beginning because I know juggling appointments while doing peoples nails can be overwhelming but that does not excuse her behavior today. i'm happy with the outcome here. i don't live in charleston but chose here simply bc i could book online. they took me right away for dip mani and pedi which both came out great. what i really liked is- i originally selected a lighter off-white but the lady talked me through different color choices so the white i chose wasn't see-through when it was on the nail. also, during the mani, she asked me at multiple different steps in the process if i was satisfied with the length, shape, etc. and made me feel like i could tell her if i didn't like it. the only things keeping from a 5 star rating is that my feet weren't massaged/scrubbed as much as i'd normally expect during the pedi and i didn't get lotion/ hand massage at the end of the mani (not that it's totally necessary- but a nice touch). overall, i do recommend! read more

My nails came out beautifully, however the technique was more than questionable. I came in with a broken nail. The tech shoved a nail tip between my nail and the acrylic and proceeded to pry it off! When I asked if it could be soaked off, the response was "there's no need". I understand that this practice is common place, but it is absolutely unacceptable! When you rip off a nail enhancement, you rip some of the natural nail and damage the nail plate. Which further adds to the weakening/thinning of your nails. I caution anyone who comes here for nail enhancement removal. Prying is a guaranteed way to damage your nail, and it could be permanent. read more

Only two nail shops in the area that I'll frequent, and this one's my favorite. Environment is pristine; clean and prettily appointed. It feels very intimate--not like an assembly line. The staff are very personable and always greet you and get you settled as soon as you arrive. They get the latest trend colors and refresh their selection frequently. The polishes are also SUPER clean--never drippy or stained. Everyone was nice and friendly great customer service and family owned. For there grand opening there offering 15% off plus an additional 10% if you pay cash. Either way still a great deal. Promotion expires September 15th, but still the prices are reasonable. I got the basic mani and deluxe aroma spa pedi, very relaxing.
