During our call, I was spoken to in a raised and aggressive tone, and at times outright berated for asking questions. Regardless of the legal issue, it is not acceptable to treat a potential client this way--especially when they are reaching out for help during a stressful situation. I did not receive clear or actionable guidance, and the interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive. Out of respect for confidentiality, I am not sharing details of my case. My experience with the attorney I spoke to was unacceptable - especially during a very distressing time. He was combative, dismissive, and didn't take the time to listen to or understand my situation. The guidance he provided was shallow, incomplete, lazy, and, as I later confirmed, incorrect. He sent me down a rabbit hole that wasted precious time I did not have to waste on bad information. He made an already extremely stressful situation much worse. If you need someone compassionate and knowledgeable who provides accurate, thoughtful advice, I suggest looking elsewhere. PS: Ernest's response to this review only reinforces my experience: dismissive, deflective, and unwilling to acknowledge any wrongdoing, nor offer any substantive help. For clarity, my feedback is based on a short 13‑minute call where I provided a concise explanation of my situation and asked for actionable guidance. He was insistent that my case had no legal merit and that I would lose, which is false -- and he knew it because he did suggest I get other opinions (and I'm so glad I did). I am being wrongfully evicted and do have recourse to stand up to these abuses. I am so sick of people weaponizing the legal system, and I will not stand for it. Ernest simply wasn't willing to listen or help in any meaningful way, and only added to my trauma and distress by making my situation seem hopeless when it is not. His response here only further validates my original review. As I said, if you want an ally and someone to truly help you through a stressful time and an overly complicated system, there are plenty of other attorneys out there who care about your well-being. Just had a phone call with Ernest for the first time because of the high rating of the business, and left with only disappointments and his racist comments on asians. Mr. Vojdani is not only rude, but also not professional. He has trouble isolating his personal feelings from the business matters. The worst part is that he does NOT know what he is talking about in the his own field. I asked some questions about renting rooms in LA, and he instantly became very defensive and showed aggressions towards where he guessed I came from. I'm glad I've done my research, so I know he's BS.
