Context - There's a horror collectible shop in downtown Hudson called "JR's Spooky Shack" - and one Sunday a month (sometimes two) we head over to the theater to watch a mystery screening of a horror film. It's a great time! What makes it even better is the theater we watch it in. It's an old theater but kept up really well; super friendly staff, plenty of concession options, great prices and visually a great looking cinema. It was built in the 1920s, and the character still oozes from the building. They've made some renovations, but have kept it mostly original which I appreciate. The actual chairs are still everywhere expect for the orchestra seating, and they are sooo comfy. Trivia question: The seats have a wire rack underneath, what was it used for back in the day? Shout out to one of the ushers for this fun question. (I won't spoil the answer). Now, because it is historic, there are some things it doesn't have. One being no screens like at most concert venues. This wasn't too big a deal since the hall is not huge, but something to point out. Also can't bring food or drink inside the space to protect its historic value, which didn't bother me to be honest. This hall is also nice because due to the size, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The side balconies aren't head on with the stage but it didn't seem to be an issue. I sat in the loge and for being furthest away, I had a clear view. They also had a cash bar in the foyer with drinks and snacks. I liked this venue because it was a quaint space, and it felt like I was going to a live theater, rather than a huge concert. It's classy and makes for a fun night out. I would love to come back and see the Lexington Symphony play here.

This is an awesome venue with a small crowd with top end performances. Kudos to all the actors and actresses that have participated in the 2024 season. You all did a fabulous job. I'd also like to thank The Wonderette's for including me in their performance, it will be the highlight of my Christmas season. Thank you very much.. As for the venue, they have a small gift shop with wonderful trinkets to remember your time at the theater. The box office is usually open at the beginning of any performances last minute tickets sales are usually available. There was also a wonderful snack bar with some great homemade goodies and drinks. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. I highly advise anyone that has not visited to make it a point to purchase some tickets to a show here you will be very pleased. FYI, I believe it's only on street parking. Just come a little bit early to secure a spot on the street close to the theater.

Hands down, the Concord Players have put on the BEST community theater shows I have ever seen…read more While they only put on a few shows every season, they are always fantastic. You will forget that you're at a community theater. This year, they are in their 92nd season. The players perform at 51 Walden, a performing arts center shared by the Concord Players, Concord Band, and Concord Orchestra. Last year I saw The Scarlett Pimpernel, and this year I saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Both very funny musicals, of course. I'm always impressed with what this group is able to pull off in terms of the set and scene changes. In both shows, there was a very dynamic set, with moving and changing parts. Very cool. Actors are great. It was a pleasure to see some of the same faces in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that were in The Scarlett Pimpernel. See a show here! You won't be disappointed!

The Players' production of Noises Off was hilarious - wonderful entertainment by a very talented…read morecast. They mastered the physical comedy and comedic timing to a T, keeping the audience in stitches most of the evening. The staff is super talented and friendly, and the place feels like family. Corbitt opened the place in 1973, and he's as warm and honest a guy as you're ever going to find. (He's also hilariously droll, and knows a lot about music, musical instruments, music history, life, the universe, and everything.) His son Max now handles much of the everyday operations, and shares most or all of Corbitt's strengths, as named above. Which is really cool--It means there'll be a Centre Music in Framingham for another generation. Great place for lessons, too.

They are in a shopping plaza with lots of parking. They also have lots of other craft projects like candle making, painting wine glasses and lots of options for kids. They do have adult beverages and some other drinks to purchase while here. We came for a group event and they ran everything so well and organized. It was easy to book via email and the owner and staff were friendly and considerate.
