I ended up winning a gift card on instagram at this establishment and was very happy to try their food. I ordered the steak tips with broccoli and my boyfriend ordered their baked lasagna. The steak tips were a bit overcooked but still seasoned well so I enjoyed it. Our host ended up also being our waiter and he was the best. He was so sweet, welcoming and sat us away from the noise (bar) so that my boyfriend and I could have a nice meal together. It's a fun restaurant with friends but it can also be a semi-casual date night place. Would definitely recommend returning. read more

The ambiance: this restaurant is so so lovely, the seating is chic and sexy but also inviting. I got seated to the left which was stunning! The booths are so comfortable but the seats and tables actually move which make it plus sized friendly, the light has 3 dim settings and is so perfect. Service: everyone was so so friendly, our server was Roman T and he was lovely, he went above and beyond to check ingredients for me being vegan and he was so friendly and sarcastic I enjoyed him. I also saw I think the manager since she had a white blazer tell the servers to make sure people had water jugs which they then provided so I appreciated! The food was DELICIOUS from. The break to the meal omg the bread!!!!!!!! The staff was welcoming and the food was well prepared. I had Veal Saltimboca which was delicious. I was disappointed with the salad dressing. It was not the typical balsamic dressing I usually have. I went to Volare for an early dinner today. We started with the breaded lamb chop appetizer, delicious. Next we had the shrimp grand marnier special, the shrimp we plunp, sweet and so tasty. I had the surf and turf special. My steak tips were a perfect medium the stuffed shrimp were divine. Excellent mashed potatoes and zucchini. It was the perfect plate of food. We came for Valentine's Day and really appreciated that even with a full house we could still hear each other talk at the table - something you don't get in the north end! The muscles were ok, we asked for the spicy fra diavlo sauce but that was either missed or our tolerance for spice is very high. The ossobuco with veggie risotto was cooked perfectly, the risotto definitely could have used some type of sauce or cheese mixed in to really bring in some flavor but overall very good meal. Ordered here 4x (through DoorDash). When you actually get your food it's delicious and the portions are generous. However, twice we have ordered and multiple dashers would show up and the food would not be available. Volare would tell the dasher "15 more minutes" and 45 mins later they are telling another dasher "10 more mins". We ended up waiting close to 2 hrs once and over 2 hrs the other time and still nothing. They also do not answer the phone. Terrible customer service. read more

Great meal and dessert here. Drinks were strong in all the best ways and we had a very enjoyable dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed but posh and is equally fitting for a date or a relaxing meal. Service is a bit lax as it took us almost 40minutes to get the bill after we finished eating. They were a little busy but not slammed. It literally took us longer to get someone to bring the check than it took us to eat. Other than that, I'm happy with the meal and will probably be back but I'll 100% be asking for the bill as soon as the food is brought to the table. Our entrees included Boscaiola, Fettuccine con Panna, Gnocchi Sorrentina and the Chicken Francese For dessert a delicious dish of icecream and chocolate My personal favorites were the warm focaccia bread they served with our meals and the homemade pasta. The pasta was made with love So delicious and you can clearly tell it was fresh. As an FYI you will definitely be taking some leftovers home after this filling meal. My sister and I made last-minute reservations on a Mother's Day. Fortunately they were able to squeeze us in at 5:30. We were met with a friendly hostess who seated us right away. Parking can be difficult since the streets are pretty narrow. My mom and I Ubered in anticipation for that. For appetizers we shared the rucola and the lobster Arancini balls. I could not get over the flavor from the sauce beneath Arancini balls. Anything I could, I dipped in the sauce. Salad it was very fresh and offered a good balance to the fried appetizer and pasta dishes we ordered later on. Our entrées consisted of the frutti demari, chicken broccoli Alfredo, and a haddock dish. My sister was indecisive about her order so she got it made with olive oil and also a side of the Alfredo. The Alfredo with the better choice of the two since we ended up mixing them together. I tried to go for the lighter version of the frutti demare by getting it with white wine sauce instead of the red sauce. It would have been better the get it was the red sauce since it was very simply seasoned even with all the seafood. My moms haddock order got mixed up by our waiter who profusely apologized after my mom brought it to his attention. He offered to place the correct order instead but we were too hungry to wait. She was still happy with the dish but was looking forward to all the sides that were offered with the one she initially asked for. We shared the chocolate lava cake as a dessert since we had brought in a cake for my mom as well. My mom also had a cappuccino which was beautifully served with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the milk foam. The chocolate lava cake was exactly what we expected with the cold vanilla ice cream on top. Overall, wonderful experience meet with gracious staff. Volare is worth the try if you find yourself north of Boston Highlights: Cookie skillet: suuuuper rich, sugary, and extremely delicious, not crazy big which I appreciated Breaded lamb chops appetizer: the gamey lamb taste paired surprisingly well with the slightly sour fig purée! Short rib pappardelle: this was probably one of the best pasta dishes I've ever tried. Noodles were perfect thickness and not overcooked, and the braised beef had its own subtle gravy taste in addition to the creamy sauce and was sooo tender and fatty. Other dishes: Creme brûlée: very solid dessert. Can't go wrong with this one Arancini di aragosta: was only warm upon serving. The creamy tomato sauce was really good, but I thought the filling was just okay. I have never tried arancini before and was expecting more cheesiness and lobster flavor. Gnocchi sorrentina: the gnocchi texture was amazing, but the tomato sauce didn't seem to have a lot of spice or extra flavor to it. Tagliatelle all' Aragosta was lobster tail, scallops, and shrimp in a delicious tomato sauce. Nutella Cheesecake, was so smooth and sweet. The Chocolate Lava Cake was so heavenly. I usually love this restaurant, but I ordered the Arancini and Eggplant Parmesan last week and it was extremely disappointing. The arancini is too dense and lacks flavor, I threw it out. The sauce for the eggplant parm is too sweet. The eggplant was delicious but the pasta and sauce are not very good. The best part of my meal was the donut/zeppoli's filled with ricotta, those were heavenly. Also, the burrata panzenella salad is always outstanding, so I will continue to order that. read more

The Polpette (Meatballs) were homemade and delicious with a marinara sauce that is delightful and light. The Calamari was lightly battered and fried to perdection with cherry peppers and a side of aoli and more of that delicious Marina. The entrees came perfectly timed and both were incredibly delicious. The Frutti Di Mare was delicious and was a plenty. The Chicken Parmesan was definitely one of the best this big boy has had (My Nana just rolled in her grave). We stopped in Friday night for only a drink and dessert. Immediately at the host stand we were greeted by three employees. They barely acknowledged us as we walked in. I said hello and asked for a table for four. Not a word was said, no eye contact, not even close to a smile. I said politely that we'd only be drinking so we didn't need food menus. The host was so cold and literally just so rude. Like could not be bothered about us whatsoever. It was so apparent. A woman host proceeded to sit us, dropped down food menus and the cocktail list. I said thank you not once, but twice. Didn't get a word back from her. I was ready to leave at this point. It was gross behavior. I have worked in food service for 10 years. I get it. We have bad days. But I have to just say how blatantly obvious it was by those three employees at the host stand, how much they did not care about us being there. It was such a cold and disgraceful experience. You should never treat your PAYING customers like this. I was appalled. I would like to mention that the waiter was very pleasant. And I appreciated his kindness and friendly attitude. Also the woman food runner/busser (she brought us water and bread) was so incredibly sweet. She offered to pull over another table to make us feel more comfortable. She was such a sweet heart and was extremely attentive to my party. After driving by this restaurant countless times, I decided to give it a try! As a fellow Revere resident, I find it difficult to find many quality restaurants in the area but this is definitely one of them! They have a great variety of appetizers including the lobster arancini which was my favorite! They also have several dishes to choose from and some great pasta dishes. We tried the boscaiola and short rib papardelle and loved both! To finish, we ended with the Cookie Monster cookie skillet which was incredible to say the least. OMG! This place is amazing! The owner, Chris, was here and even gave us a tour of the kitchen! The food was AMAZING!!! I had chicken saltimbocca (no mushrooms) and me hubby had the special of rack of lamb with mashed potatoes, asparagus with a blueberry reduction! Food was 5-star plus!!
