AMAZING!!!!! Oh my gosh where do I begin??? When visiting…read morein Montana in the Northwestern part this a must visit Friday night buffet. Actually this is a Amish owned general store that serves a Friday night buffet and Saturday morning buffet. And weekday hamburgers. But we've only so far had the Friday night buffet. So let me tell you.......... First off you have to travel up through beautiful country to get there across the Koocanusa Lake then up the Yak Valley, and before we got there on the side of the road was some Amish children selling baked goods with their mother. Of course we stopped and practically bought them out. Once there you go into the store and you are directed into the back where there is a buffet set up. A salad bar then the first time we visited it was meatloaf, baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, homemade bread, two kinds of pie and beverages all you can eat. Second time basically the same menu except no meat loaf, it was roasted pork loin and baked beans instead of green beans. Then when you go up to the grocery store to check out you are tempted by all of their homemade goodies. Bread, cookies, pie, jelly and all of their sundries in their general store along with handmade items. We went away with bags full of all kinds of things. I won't go into details but don't pass up this fantastic opportunity to have this amazing experience, you will talk about it for months and months if not years!!!!

We got there set down had some appetizers and we were told immediately that they were out of two items on the menu of which they're only about 10 items. Once we ordered service was not great as the waitress was looking past us and would not come to our table. Food when it came out was subpar for a venue like this. We had brought friends who were looking at possibly buying property and wanted to check it out but the experience them off maybe it was one off, the items were not that great such as the stirfry spaghetti and it was asked to put chicken inside that so there would be a protein. No chicken told about it once we finally got the waitress. She said oh we can go put chicken in it now, but that defeats the purpose if you were cooking a dish to order. Special was a Curry was OK but there was not much flavor at all. In the end, not sure if we could recommend anyone going there

The lunch hamburger was one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten, and the chef was even willing to tell me how she made it. The huckleberry wings are also delicious. For dinner, I've tried the lamb chops, panko crusted chicken, BBQ ribs, and a few of the special dinners like turkey and ham for Christmas. Everything is made from scratch and is delicious. The crispy green bean appetizer is my favorite. The chocolate tuxedo cake and bananas foster cheesecake are my favorite deserts. The chefs and staff are very friendly and attentive. My only complaint is they don't have a full liquor license to sell hard alcohol, but it is difficult and expensive to get a hard liquor license in this county. I want to try the breakfast sometime. I hear the breakfast is amazing. It is only a few miles outside of Eureka. If you go during the day, the view of the mountains is beautiful.

The cafe is really the bar area, with some dining tables in the same location. The gaming machines are also in the area, so you have the constant sound of those going. The one waitress was pretty busy but did a nice job keeping my drink full. It did take about 30 minutes for the French toast I ordered to make it to the table. On this cool morning I needed the extra time to warm up anyway. Long wait though. The French toast was unusual in a good way. It was on very good baguette bread and done to perfection. I do wish the butter had been softer instead of a frozen ball. Really good French toast though. The food here exceeded my expectations but it was a long wait for it. A good stop overall if in the area and want breakfast.

It's an older building with a very cool old wood bar, we'll go with saloon style. It's a bit on the darker side, light wise, which is appropriate for place. They have plenty of tvs inside for watching about any game that is on. There is also a fair amount of outdoor seating, along with a mini stage for concerts. I was met right walking in, seated and had a drink right away. I had a few ideas of what I might want and asked the waitress for her go to of the bunch. She said brisket Mac and cheese, so I went with it. A bit later it was sitting in front of me. This is all scratch made and it was very good. The brisket was cooked perfectly and they added just the right amount of bbq sauce to the top. The Mac and cheese was very good as well. It got pretty busy after I got there and drink refills were slow, but I wasn't in a hurry. The staff all seemed nice and hard working. There was quite a lot of flies in the place, but I seemed to be the only annoyed by them. Even with that, I would recommend this place for a very good meal.
