    Alligator bites
    Rich S.

Quintessential New Orleans Let me start by saying my family is from the New Orleans area so needless to say I was skeptical when I saw a Cajun/Creole another restaurant in Virginia claiming to be authentic (because every other one I've tried hasn't been close). Food We ordered the Boudin balls, Alligator Bites, Shrimp Poboy, and the Banana Foster/ Bread Pudding. First of all everything was exceptional. The Boudin balls were best I've had (you should use the voodoo sauce instead of the mustard). The alligator bites were amazing. Shrimp poboy had the right bread (hard to find in VA) and was great with the voodoo sauce. We put the banana foster on top of the bred pudding instead of the bourbon sauce which was great. I wasn't expecting cherries in the bread pudding but still excellent. Service We were seated pretty quickly on Valentines evening. Apps came out pretty quickly and server was friendly. Ambiance Feels like the kind of place you could wander into in the French quarter. Nice vibe. Price Bill before tax and tip was $69 Overall 10/10 of you want authentic New Orleans food I highly recommend.

Key Lime Pie in a cup size. Tasty.

Such a hidden gem in Manassas, VA! The food was absolutely delicious, service was great, and the establishment was fitting for a downtown vibe. Not to mention the price of the food was very reasonable, especially in NOVA.

Went here for a late lunch with some Friends. It's cute inside very small and cozy. I was very excited to try this place as it had been on my list for a while. The presentation of the dishes were very nice but the drinks and dishes left me with a big disappointment. Flavorless and crunchy for the crawfish, the wings sauce was not good had a bad taste, the drink was a little off. I really wanted to like this place but was very disappointed. The staff was nice.

We got the cornbread, crab hushpuppies, collard greens, and Jim's jambalaya. The fold was good, I think the greens were a little sweet, but still good. Service was great, friendly staff, our server Louis/Luis was very nice and personable. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, no one else was there, and a couple people sat at the bar right before we left. Will def go back to try more food and drinks

Small spot in Old Town. Not a very big bar. Plenty of food and drink options. But the flavor of wings we got, I can't remember what they were just not really my thing. And I've had gator bites before, but these ones weren't really doing it for me. Everything came out in a timely manor and prepared very well, the flavors were just off in my opinion. Still worth checking out if you are in the area.

We went to Voodoo for the first time recently for brunch. It was pretty quiet when we visited as they just started serving their brunch menu. We started with Chicory Coffee and Beignets - which is probably better than what I had in NOLA by the way. For brunch entrees, we had Chicken and the Egg and Cajun Omelet. Both were delicious and spot on. I could not remember the service but it wasn't bad but not memorable either. The ambiance was great. It was almost like we were transported to NOLA. Brunch food is huge in New Orleans and I feel like Voodoo can do better by having NOLA brunch favorites in their menu like Pain Perdu, Jambalaya, Chicken and Waffles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Voodoo Brothers. The gumbo was very flavorful. The shrimp and grits were different than I've had before, but I really liked this dish. The flavors worked well together. The catfish sandwich was huge!!! It was also delicious! Our waitress was friendly and attentive! We highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is so delicious. My husband and I shard an alligator bites appetizer, which was very tasty, but but my husband thought it was expensive at $19. He had a half portion of Jim's Jambalaya, and I had a half portion of the Shrimp and Grits. I didn't taste his, but my shrimp and grits was delightful. We also shared an order of beignets, and I had a cup of Cafe du Monde coffee. If you've never had creole cuisine, you should know it isn't highly spiced, just flavorful. Service was excellent and ambiance was evocative of a New Orleans bar. Four stars, because it is pricey, but we haven't been to Old Town Manassas in a while, so that may be the norm.

Manassas was in need of a good cocktail spot and Voodoo Brothers has been one of the new spots to really deliver. A great restaurant and bar with creative cocktails, great service, friendly staff, and in my opinion one of the best burgers in town. You may ask why I got a burger in a spot specializing in cajun food and po boys, but I don't have a good answer for you. I was craving a burger and it far surpassed my expectations. And the sauce. Holy cow the sauce. Get anything that has the voodoo sauce. Family got the catfish, jambalaya and fried okra. All were raved about. I don't think I've ever seen my mother in law finish her plate at a restaurant and that catfish and crab rice dish was demolished.

Service was pleasant and knowledgeable about most menu items. This is primarily a whiskey bar, so keep that in mind when ordering cocktails. I loved the Citrus Kiss but wasn't a fan of the Blackberry Smash -- not that it was bad, just not my taste, so I passed it to someone else in our group. We shared the monkey bread, fries sampler, steak and cheese dumplings, chicken rigatoni, and salmon caprese. The rigatoni was a hit for one person at the table, but wasn't for me -- so I asked to swap it for the salmon, which was excellent. What earns this place five stars is not the ambiance, though stunning, but it is the service. No pushback, no awkward looks about the swap, and no extra charge. We all make mistakes when ordering, and I genuinely appreciated that the staff handled it graciously without complaint or an added fee. For that reason -- and the quality of the food -- I'll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it.

I had the Cedar Plank Salmon, which was moist and well complimented by the red pepper coulis. My wife ordered the Cilantro Lime Roasted Grouper. The lime from the compound butter was fantastic, though if I were to criticize there was too much jasmine rice. The carrots were also amazing. We started with the excellent clam chowder. It's a little thinner than a traditional New England chowder, but much more flavorful. We saved room for dessert and loved the key lime pie. We had our eyes on the pumpkin bread pudding, but they had unfortunately run out (maybe next time!). A huge shoutout to our bartender, Jesica. She whipped up an Old Fashioned based specifically on my flavor profile requests, and it was spot on. She made excellent recommendations throughout our meal, as well. Service at the bar was really fantastic. The only downside to the evening was our seating; we were at the bar right by the door. It got a little drafty and we caught some cigarette smoke whenever the door opened. Not a dealbreaker, but we'll definitely look to sit further inside next time. We will be back!"
