Great place for board game lovers out there. This place offers a very extensive list of games from all complexity types and genres beyond your usual Monopoly, Sorry!, or Uno (they have them too). You have games for various player counts: solo, 2-player, multi-player. So you can come with friends, a date, family, or by yourself! They have both an upstairs/downstairs area with boardgames you can choose (boardgames on the yellow and green shelves) to play as you eat/drink. There are also board games for purchase! My fiancé and I have gone here a few times to buy boardgames. They pretty much sell the same games you'd find at a dedicated boardgame store. Sometimes they even sell the more niche ones that we have trouble finding at our local boardgame store. Today, we had an appetizer and some drinks. We had the King's Poutine and it was really tasty. The alcohol menu they have is also a sizable menu. A good buzz and a good game! Though we played a ton of higher complexity boardgames, we opted for ones easiest to learn to not take all night. But they have plenty of game options you can devote hours to. We had a blast!

They so bad. It not right what the manager say. Cant eat on this table. Wow that not good.

We came here on a Saturday as a group of 4 around 2pm. This was our first time and the hostess explained how we can pick out games then sat us down. The menu was a bit confusing as it was trying to tie things to different card games. It took at least 10 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drink orders. We then had a long wait until we made our food order and went to go pick out some board games as we waited. There were a ton of options which I thought was cool, but a little overwhelming. When we finally ordered, we only ordered appetizers. I ordered the Tetris Totchi Koro which was loaded tots. I appreciated the fun shapes and the crisp on the tater tots. I think the sour cream took away from the fondue flavor and the ranch was more dilly than I personally prefer. My husband ordered Chicky Boom Bites and they were not good. The batter had no flavor and it was overcooked. The chicken was not dry, but the breading just took away from the experience. My friends ordered Poutine for a Queen which was loaded fries with gravy and they enjoyed it. My one friend also ordered Point Salad and it was fine, just a normal salad. Overall, I really did enjoy the fact we got to play games throughout our meal as it allowed us more time to connect and talk. I do wish the waiter would have checked in a bit more. I think this place is really great concept and I only tried a small snapshot of their menu so I assume they have some items that may be better.

Crossroads is a super cute board game cafe in Old Town Manassas. They have quite a large selection of games to play as well as purchase. My partner and I enjoyed a 2 player game called Onitama a lot! The food was nothing special, but it's something to fill you up while you play board games. The restaurant was not very busy on a Friday afternoon but service was still a little slow. Definitely worth checking out if you have a board game craving!

I really really enjoyed my first time visiting this restaurant. To start off, they have plenty of seating indoors with various sized tables for individuals or party-sized groups to come in and play games. You can see in the photos that they have NUMEROUS games that you can play either before or after eating and also unopened games for you to purchase too. Loved the service, and the atmosphere in here was very slow and chill making it an honestly great place to relax while playing games with friends and family with no pressure to leave like you'd find in many if not all other restaurants. Ghostlie Cola was really awesome, horchata inspired drink and it really stayed true to it. Sheriff of Nottingham burger was also really juicy, definitely on the slightly sweeter side for burgers considering it has apple jam and apple in the burger. So maybe ordering a more sour drink would've paired well with the burger. Fries was super soft, plenty came with the burger and we had plenty more from the appetizer, Lord of the Fries. Their menu was really creative and funny, you'll see that there's a lot of puns and cultural references in the menu items and descriptions. I ended up staying here for like 2-3 hours, and I wish I stayed longer. Wonderful place!

Saturday night was busy so best to make reservations. Nice that they have outside seating too. As a party of 7, we were here to celebrate two birthdays of friends. As a gift, I picked up some cupcakes and was hoping they would allow outside food. None of the staff said anything about it. And we did order a lot of food and drinks (multiple times). Food was good. Partner had the fish and chips and I went for the Oh Shitake which was a pasta macaroni dish with shitake mushrooms and short ribs. Portion size was good and half of us had leftovers for the next day. Plenty of games to purchase all around the tavern. You can also bring your own games. Love the casual atmosphere and the vibe of friends just playing games. Service was super friendly and fast. All you have to do is place a card on a stand and someone comes to get your order or refills. There was a theme that evening in which they were out of things. Not the end of the world and certainly didn't affect our experience. They were just probably unusually busy. They ran out of forks and I ate my pasta with a soup spoon. LOL. They were also out of flight containers. Our bottle of ketchup was empty but we quickly got another. Parking was not the best. There is a small lot right next to the tavern if you're lucky to get a space. There is also street parking and other small lots around.

LJ was a phenomenal server and worked here. I was overwhelmed by the store as a first timer and he definitely made a first comer welcome and helped me understand and walkthrough of the bar. Definitely recommend coming here again!! Food was also pretty good! Only got a drink and a dessert. Loved it! Crème brûlée was perfectly sweetened and the drink I got was the ghost is cola and to die for! As an Asian with lightened sweets as preference, it hit me right at the right spot! The ambiance is very comforting and music played at the perfect volume for you to enjoy playing, socializing and enjoying food all at once! Such a neat eatery that it can't separately be only a board game shop or a bar but fusion of both

The sun was shining and the breeze was blowing the savory smells from the outside diners right to us! We just had to join them! When you walk inside, be ready to grab a game and begin! There were people of all ages playing all sorts of games inside. But, we went outside to enjoy the breeze! Ok, so the drink was the highlight of the meal! I could have drank my weight in that drink alone!!! "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" is the BEST drink on our planet! BOOM! Be sure to order it! BTW- the meal was good too! *Hummm-Bowl with chips Be sure to take some time and read the entire menu; too cool for school!!! Dayla

I have been visiting Crossroads Tabletop Tavern since it opened and am impressed on how this place stepped up their game (literally) with their improved menu. My most recent visit was with friends for weekend brunch. I had Fried Chicken on French Toast while they had Monster Mash Short Rib Hash. Both dishes were really delicious and worth their price. The only downside were that the food took a little while to get prepared and the coffee was not hot when it was served - I was given a hot replacement though. Nevertheless, I'd still go back and hopefully have a much better experience.

LJ aka John has been top notch server the entire evening. Great drink, dessert, and board game recommendations all night. The store itself is phenomenal and makes me dream of a basement looking like this one day. Other John the owner is also very kind and accommodating. If you need a board game shipped to you, he will do it for you personally and that's incredible! Highly recommend ghostie cola if you love horchata and the orange you glad if you need that 90's nostalgic orange cream popsicle. Crime brûlée is the newest dessert and is delish!

After checking in, we were quickly guided upstairs to a cozy, rounded booth--an intimate and perfect spot for two. Our server, Katie, was fantastic--attentive, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest when helping us choose between dishes. We started with the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, paired with the Black Sheep Mule and a watermelon cocktail (wish I remembered the name!). For our mains, we ordered the short rib rigatoni and the steak bulgogi bowl. To finish, we shared the weekly dessert special: an Earl Grey tres leches. Everything was exactly what I hoped for and more. The starters were standout, the entrees were packed with flavor, and the overall aesthetic of the space was just beautiful. We'll definitely be back--next time for brunch!

Also when you reserve the loft, which holds up to 16 people, you order off the regular menu. I loved this as other places I checked into were much more restrictive with a higher minimum spend and fixed menus for groups larger than 8. We had 12 in our group. We started with a bunch of appetizers for the table and cocktails. Appetizers included the bacon tower, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, crispy chicken wings, and Mediterranean garlic shrimp. Dinner entreés were jambalaya pasta, the American wagyu burger, pulled short rib rigatoni and branzino almondine. There were zero complaints. We enjoyed EVERYTHING!! The bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert literally took me over the top. My belly was ready to burst :) Our waiter was attentive throughout the entire time and everything we ordered came out perfect. I must go back soon. It is a distance from where I live but there's so many things on the fabulous menu I want to try.
