The original caulk was never scraped of.. he just did another layer on top of what was there.. No attention to detail, everything is uneven - doors do not shut properly as were hung uneven. Molding - horrific! Cannot cut straight, so they slapped a ton of paint and caulk to cover the uneven angles. Tile is not flat, but bulges out all over the place... The list goes on.. To top it all of - ruined outdoor furniture cleaning the cement off the containers with the hose. Cement splatter all over and it does not waah off. Not to mention the fact that the site was never cleaned up. The front of the house had material and debris that Walter said was going to be taken care off. Once paid - never heard back from the guy.

Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in. I've been trying to get him to come back to fix the door (as per his warranty) for two weeks. Ha! Who am I kidding? I could go on but you get the drift. Save yourself some money and headaches and find someone else.
