I'm an OG storage unit costumer at this location. It was the Garage Mahaul when I first started,…read morethen Red Dot... and now Storage Rentals of America. I will say a few things I've noticed since Storage Rentals of America took ownership. - They've been making a lot of updates! New garage doors is an obvious one. - Actual staff on site. (Red Dot never had anyone around. While Garage Mahaul was staffed during biz hours M-F.) - HOLY FREEZING. Goodness. I have an indoor storage locker and it is freezing inside, so I am not sure how 'climate controlled' it is? We shall see this summer... Overall, I'm a happy customer. The location is convenient, the facility is clean and the price seems comparable. Additionally, in over five years at this location I have never had an issue getting into my unit. My only qualm is they took ownership and never really let 'tenants' know? The weird transition period between the previous owner and them was rough. (With a dead mouse somewhere in my unit's building that festered for weeks. eek.)

We chose the Alyssa Court location because it was close to the U-Haul rental and it was inexpensive compared to other places. Yet it ended up being the most expensive because the place flooded and ruined almost everything he owned, costing us $$$$$ to replace! It was supposed to be climate controlled, but it was so humid in there, mold grew on everything in the few weeks before we could get down there to assess the damage. When we arrived, there was still standing water in our unit and throughout the facility- with no evidence that they were trying to manage the situation. When they called to inform us, the attitude was - "oh well - we're not responsible." So we paid them $154 to ruin his belongings?!? No refund, no apology. On top of that, the gate was wide open, so there was no security, there was broken glass near the door that wasn't cleaned up between the time we moved in and moved out, and the rental office was across town, which was very inconvenient. Literally the WORST experience all around! Avoid at all costs!!!

We use Scott Six Self Storage as extra storage space for our home. The whole gang that works at the…read morestorage unit have always been so helpful and happy to work with us, they make us feel really welcome. I rented for about a year and on one occasion I needed to temporarily downsize from a larger unit to a smaller unite. They were very helpful allowing us to do that. I would have expected them to say "no" because they would make more $$$ off me if they kept me in the larger unite, but instead, I got "We understand! why pay extra for space you don't need right now." Funny thing, I never actually met the owners in person. They have a great online customer portal that lets you make/ schedule payments and a few other features. I did speak with them on the phone frequently, and when they didn't answer right away, I always got a call-back. Typically storage units can be strange places or out of the way... but not this one! It's a short drive but its near a Fairways, so I always made visiting the unites the same morning as grocery shopping, VERY CONVENIENT! Its a great location. Would give 6 stars if I could!
