Some of the rudest customer service I've ever experienced -- seriously, every time you call they're short, dismissive, and just plain mean. I missed one pickup day when they took over and was told it would cost $20 for a single pickup, when a full three-month bill is only $60. Then when I called to cancel because I was moving, they were incredibly rude again -- even refused to let the new homeowners use the service I had already pre-paid for. When I tried to explain, the rep actually called me dishonest for wanting to cancel after my three months were up. To top it off, they were rude about picking up the trash bins -- even after I said I had recommended them to the new homeowners. Safe to say, I'll be telling them not to use this company instead. Bottom line: terrible customer service, no empathy, and rude for absolutely no reason. You can tell they hate their jobs. Avoid them if you can. I understand why Farmers Disposal was so successful in the area and I'd pay more to avoid Arrow Waste. Funny enough, they lost a customer at my new house too.

Based on my experience, that did not result in clearer explanations or transparency--instead, it appeared to work against me. They attempted to downgrade the quality of the metal I brought in without providing any proof, testing results, or documentation to support their claim. No explanation was offered beyond their word. I was intentionally kept in the dark until the very end of the process. Only after my profile was fully created and I was fingerprinted was I told what they intended to pay. As a new customer, this felt especially misleading and calculated. Even more concerning, I was given three different weights for the same material. The weight I was verbally told in the scale room did not match the weight printed on the receipt and was short by approximately one pound, with no explanation for the discrepancy. Because of these issues, I requested my material back and took it to West Side Metal & Iron, where it was confirmed that the metal was exactly what I originally stated and not the lower-grade material this business claimed it was. That confirmation made their earlier claims appear deceptive. They also fail to disclose critical payment restrictions upfront. Customers--especially new ones--are not informed that payouts are capped at $25 per day. Any higher balance requires returning later or waiting for a check to be mailed, which can take 4-7 business days. This information is withheld until after the transaction is already in progress. If you are a first-time customer or do not have extensive knowledge of scrap materials, be extremely cautious. Based on my experience, this business appears to take advantage of inexperience through withheld information, inconsistent weights, and questionable grading.

I have been a completely satisfied EverKept customer for two decades in spite of price increases…read morethat were never advertised. I would normally would give them a 5-star rating. Their drivers smiled and seemed happy, the trucks always looked nice, and their pickups were fairly predictable. However, they just sold to another company in the area, one that seems to be buying up the competition - in my neighborhood, they have already taken over two other small companies. The trucks are dirty and the drivers do not smile or even look at the pedestrians in the neighborhood. This does not give me good feelings about future service and pricing so I am completely unhappy with EverKept's business decision. I am sure their executives are going to make a lot of money on the sale, but I can no longer support a company that sells out. Two stars because their service is quite good and their business decisions quite bad.

I called and had a wonderful conversation making sure to start our new service on the 23rd at the new house and to stop service at the old house on the 30th. Today the 16th I was shocked to come home and find my trash can missing. I immediately called to ask what happened and was told that EverKept screwed up and put the work order in for today the 16th. I was told that they were happy to bring us a new cart and make it right....4 days from now.... When I stated that I needed a trash cart sooner than that as my wife and I have a 3 month old at home (lots of diapers and waste) I was told that there was absolutely nothing they could do to make it right. When I asked why they couldn't bring it on Saturday-Monday I was told "we don't work the weekends and Monday is already booked". When I asked if they could call operations and ask for an exception to be made for Monday I was told "the operations people have been here since 5am and are heading home. It is Friday afternoon and they want to leave". Long story short: I have canceled my future service with EverKept and don't recommend them to anyone. They will leave you stranded without a garbage can because people want to leave at 4:30 on a Friday.
