Stopped in to have John look at my desktop on February 26th because it had died earlier in the week, sadly to say no matter what he tried it was time to let it go to computer heaven. He was able to access the information on the hard drive with some awesome computer "magic", never would I have imagined freezing it would make it work... but it did! John replaced the junk hard drive on my Business computer and got me back up and running perfectly in less than 24 hours. This included reloading all my programs and verifying they ran correctly. As I watched he would say, "do you need these files from 5 plus years ago on the new hard drive?" (They are on the old hard drive if I do every want to view them) He really took a lot time to make sure only the current/needed files were on the new hard drive. When he saw all the pictures I had on my computer he recommended a free picture organizing program that I really love. So easy to use! The quality of work he put in to making sure everything was correct and professionally done was well worth the hourly rate. I took my PC to John on Plainfield Avenue. His initial thought was the computer probably wasn't worth saving, but he spent several hours trying different things to see if he could get it working. John's initial thought was correct -- my computer was trash -- but he offered me several reasonable solutions.
