You can take it clockwise (gray route) or counterclockwise (red route). The shuttle is clean and spacious and has free wifi; when I rode it on a Saturday, it was pretty empty. Its weekday hours were also recently expanded to 7am to 7pm, making it a viable work commute option. You can even track it live via a website or phone app (I haven't tried the app), which makes catching the shuttle a breeze. I did notice both times I rode the shuttle that there was an incident of someone shouting at the driver to stop because they needed to get off, but it was hard to tell whether the driver had missed their stop request or they had tried to get off somewhere that wasn't a stop.

I am not from Mountain View but this cute little shuttle does great magic for people who are native to the area. People of all ages ride this. There was one time where it can be full of young people who want to save gas on getting around their city of residence. Other times it's a mix of people from age 4 to 85 that want to go to the doctors, San Antonio Shopping Center or a random Starbucks. On Saturdays it can go near Shoreline so if you are biking near the VTA bus yard this bus can be your resting area thanks to their bike racks. I live in a low-income area of San Jose and are really jealous that nothing like this exists near where I live. I wish it did so I could save money on gas. Note: We are still in a pandemic so please wear a mask. Staff here wear masks and seating is limited so continue to social distance.

The Santa Clara station doesnt appear to have an operating elevator and its several levels of steps to Stadium level. But even at my slow pace it doesnt take me more than 10 mins to walk to Levis. Be sure to check the Capitol Corridor website for discounts. My train ticket this week was only 25 bucks round trip. Pretty good deal.

The Alder VTA station is right across the street and it is just 3 stops to Levi's. After the game I did not have to deal with traffic at all, just hopped on the train back. It was packed, but only about a 15 minute ride so no big deal. Only heads up: there are not signs on how to pay. You have to go to vta.org, choose Milpitas Transit Center, and then select Daily Parking. You also have to make an account to pay. There is no worker around, so I am not even sure if they check, but for $3 it is not worth risking a ticket. For the price and convenience, this is hands down the best way to get to Levi's.

I depend on this light rail station for my commute to work and back, so I use it daily. The…read morescheduled train arrives every 15 minutes during morning and evening rush-hours and at 30 minute intervals during mid-day hours and weekends/holidays. The complete schedule is available at the station or on VTA's website. Trains are on schedule within a minute or two, unless some wise guy thinks he/she can outmaneuver the train in their car, which typically leads to accidents and delays. So next time I'm late to a Yelp event, this may be the cause. Station is kept clean and typically not used as shelter, as some of the stations downtown San Jose.

Also, like many places in the U.S. the station may seem relatively understaffed. Other than that, trains themselves are often much more spacious, roomy, and sometimes just plain empty compared to elsewhere in the world.

Thought I would share some tips for someone who doesn't ride frequently. 1.) Clipper If you use a Clipper Card, when you tag in, it will charge you the FULL AMOUNT first. Once you tag out, it will "refund" you the difference. Example: Origin Station (Tag in) = San Francisco = Charge $14.70 Destination Station (Tag Out) = Sunnyvale = Refund $6.75 Total = $7.95 I was really confused by this at first since this is not how BART works where there is no charge at first and a charge after you exit. I definitely messed this up and even had to call Clipper customer service to help me fix one of my rides. 2.) Parking I thought there was ample parking at the station when I went but other reviews says it's difficult. I didn't have any issues here. 3.) Cleanliness For some reason this station was pretty dirty. There were homeless remnants (beds, alcohol, clothes) all over the elevators and trashcans that it felt kind of unsafe. However, when you get to the tracks with the other riders, it was much better. 4.) No Shade This station has like zero shade. You might find some minimal shade in places but it's virtually zero. Wear a hat, sunscreen, or even use an umbrella to block out the sun or rain if its raining.
