Like the stores of old, she offers everything from antiques to riding tack to sharpening services to candy and cold drinks. There is no bathroom, but she can direct you to the farmer's market down the street. No dressing room, but she will diligently protect your privacy while you are hidden by a door and a large shelf. She gave good advice as she fitted my daughter for saddles, boots, and tack. If she didn't have something, she told us where to get it and how to asses it. I looked around and I know we bought quality goods for 60-80% less than the mainstream supply stores.

Instead of kindly asking me to please leave it by the door, she was demanding and tried to belittle me with sarcasm. The same lady refused to take back a pair of boots because of small scratches on the bottom of the boot; she was extremely hard to work with and downright mean. Those boots had to have been sold to me with the scratches on the bottom of them because I never wore them once off of carpet, and this woman was trying to convince me that I had worn them and made me feel that I was lying.
