The store itself is pretty small with no frills inside, which was fine. They had to send my watch to another store to get it replaced so it took 3 business days. The cost was around $125. Kind of high for a watch battery but cheaper than a new smart watch. My only complaint is that I took my watch in because of a bad battery so my % battery on drop off was like 10%. When I picked my new battery watch up, it was a 3%... I would have liked to have had them charge it some at least so that I could see that the new battery was replaced. It is kind of like picking up a watch or clock at another store and it isnt wound or set to the right time. But it worked find once i charged it I was glad to do this route vs a new watch.

I recently was in need of getting my iPad Pro screen, iPhone battery + screen replaced. I originally bought the iPad Pro less half a year prior but cracked and damaged the screen. I brought it over to the Apple Store only to be told I can purchase a refurbished one for less than $600. I used one of the Yelp service locator system that allows receiving several quotes from multiple area vendors. I picked Alan's shop at Absolute Repair based on his promptness in response and accommodating nature. He gave me a very fair repair quote and was also willing to work with Amex so I could get reimbursement for repairs. When I had issues with the original repair, it was remedied right away. I was also touched by his willingness to arrive early that day to ensure the iPad screen was replaced so it works flawlessly again. When I returned to pick up my iPad, I went ahead and also got my iPhone 11 Pro Max repaired. He kept his promise that he would stop whatever task he is working on when I arrive so my phone battery can be also replaced. I was originally going to just have my battery replaced because my dogs were waiting in my car with the A/C on but door unlocked. When I had mentioned that to Alan, he let me bring in my pooches inside so I went ahead and got the screen replaced as well. Alan was also willing to carve out time to get both completed right there and then. How amazing! Before I left his shop again, Alan also placed a new screen protector on my phone so I don't get it dinged and scratched again! I paid total of less than $300 to get both my battery and screen replaced which is far better than having to replace the phone altogether.

From that point on, it was radio silence; I called them on 12/22 and12/31, each time without them being able to tell me what was wrong with the device. By 1/30, they told me that the device was unfixable and then would send it back to Charlottesville to get it to me. And again, I heard nothing. When I called on 2/10, I finally spoke with someone helpful who'd admitted that the watch had been lost in the mail. I asked that person what could be done, and they offered to see if the company could help me replace the device; I asked to get that in writing in the form of an email, which they obliged and sent on 2/11. I've now responded to that email two times (on 2/14 and 2/17) hoping to move forward with the replacement of my device or some kind of a refund, and no one has answered. Fruit Fixed showed embarrassingly poor communication and bad customer service. I have no idea how their rating is so high - I feel like many of these reviews can't be legitimate. I now have to purchase a new watch and can't use my previous device as a trade-in because they have refused to help me when it was lost in transit between their two stores, and when apparently no one who worked there even realized it was gone.
