This place is awesome. Very fun and welcoming. Great sipping, fantastic nibbles. For nibbles, I recommend the Chipotle Turkey (Arugula, Havarti, chipotle aioli). Crunchy and deliciously savory. The peppery arugula isn't overpowered by the chipotle aioli, and they don't build off each other either. It's a good balance. For sippins? I got the Century Club dipa and the Electric slide strawberry lemonade sour. The artists that decorate the place are talented beyond belief. Each beverage gets its own original artwork, which once it's off the menu, is available for sale. It's a great place for entertainment, too. Sit back with friends and enjoy one of the may games they provide, just past the bar. Or visit on the right night and meet new people during a trivia night! Solid option for beer, seltzer, sake, and slushies. Loved the maple barley wine and girlfriend got the seltzer slushee, both were great. We also got the pretzel with beer cheese... the beer cheese is incredible! The pretzel is good, fluffy, large, but the cheese is amazing. read more

Vulpine is a terrific addition to a shopping center that has a lot to offer. Cozy and welcoming, we found enjoyable food and drinks, particularly impressive since the kitchen seems to only contain a panini press and a microwave. The Pumpkin Goat Dip was chevre based, and served warm. Sandwiches came out of the press with a perfect amount of crispness and warmth. The beer selection wasn't huge, but there was something for everyone. The local resident who introduced us to Vulpine said they may be expanding into the space next door, which should be a good thing, since there weren't a huge number of tables to accomodate the crowd that has discovered this place. read more

Comfortable brewery with a connected coffee shop. Have been a couple of times & it's an easy place to drop in for a beer with both indoor & outdoor covered seating. Our first time visiting Vulpine Taproom. Great local hangout in the Lake Forest Park shopping area. While there we learned they are planning to expand to the recently vacated spot next door. Good vibes inside with a super helpful and friendly staff. I had a nice craft beer, my daughter had an Elder Tail drink and my wife had a Liquid Death Hop Water. Each of us enjoyed our bevies. We sat outside in the outdoor patio to enjoy the warm Summer weather and struck up a convo with a local lady who frequents the place. Vulpine Taproom features a variety of rotating taps with great descriptions on the chalk boards behind the bar for easy ordering and have a good selection of canned non alcoholic drinks as well. They even have a liquor slushie machine that seems to be all the rage these days. I can't wait to return to see the expanded area! read more

This is now my favorite place in the world. A real locals hangout without bad vibes or judgement or exclusivity. Everyone is welcome and the place is alive and vibrant. Josh opened this place last year and has created a cool fun space for the 21+ crowd to hang, enjoy drinks, food, games, and community. He is often seen in the floor helping pour drinks, handle the register, administer trivia, and participate in the fun runs! Where else do you see an owner being on the ground like this!?!? And totally enjoying it too??? Amazing. The place is absolutely on point with the fox theme. There is fox art everywhere, intermixed with PNW outdoor elements and decor. Local art is for sale and the member mugs are handmade by a local artist too! The beers and wines sold here rotate but are generally all local. They even serve ciders and make their own 3 cocktails, which they call "fox tails". Ahhh so cute. They host trivia on Wednesdays, vinyl night on Thursdays, run club on Friday, and art hangouts on Sunday. They have a board game library. They serve solid looking sandwiches, cheese boards, and soups. It's everything I wish for and I plan to make this my 2nd home. Really highly recommend you visit this place. Maybe knock out one of the windows above the door... after 20 minutes, my eyes were watering, and they only had 3 tables that ordered food. After 45 minutes, the five of us were having eye problems. Pretty busy on a weekday evening. My first time in and the staff was able to recommended a beer for me. I didn't try any, but I like that they had snacks and other food items to much on. Definitely a chill place to hang. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was because there was a weird mishap with my tab where the tab was already closed out (not by me), where I was charged for an extra beer and tip was already applied. They refunded the extra beer but said that changes to the tip amount could not be changed. read more

Decided to go here with a friend to catch up and couldn't be happier and more pleased. Both him and I were pleasantly surprised as to how welcoming the environment was to all the customers and how the layout was designed to help conversation flow. The music and ambiance were all great and the interior design (all fox themed) showed originality and creativity (along with being very cute). The drinks were excellent and the selection seemed well curated. While we didn't order any food it looks like they put a lot of effort into making it as delicious and presentable as possible. Furthermore, this bar is located in a strip mall with lots of free parking and isn't crowded whatsoever. I would totally recommend this place for anyone who wants to go on a date or meet up with friends. 5/5 service and certainly will be returning. read more

The most unique and amazing beers. Most places have 70% IPAs and little variety (makes sense, that's WA for you) - Vulpine makes it a point to have an assortment that will keep you pleasantly surprised every time. The staff are the chillest, highly informative, the perfect people to run the place. The owner is also super down to Earth and friendly! I came here originally not expecting much, but this is truly something special and I'd go out of my way to come here more often! Great new restaurant in Lake Forest Park! They offer their own brews and other kinds on tap and a decent enough selection of wine. Food is bar food but tasty! There's a charcuterie plate, hummus plate, etc. There's also a couple of sandwiches (albeit not low fat), a salad, and then snacks. The room is modern and nice. A mix of high and regular tables. Hopefully, they will expand the number of tables after covid. They keep the door open in warm weather and are supposed to put out a couple outdoor tables soon. As soon as I walked in, I was sold. I love foxes. I love books about foxes, I have a fox-themed pencil case, fox-themed keys, fox-themed greeting cards. The space was warm and inviting and the people who work there are so friendly. I love that they support local artists. I bought a t-shirt and took some of the coasters (they said it was fine) which were awesome. Although they are a taproom and specialize in beers, they had four wines on the wine list and the Pinot Noir I got was very good. Apparently they have small bites. I plan on going back there again and trying some of those. Great place and I am sure in the summer sitting outside would be nice. read more

Friend and I who regularly bike the Burke-Gilman Trail decided to meet for lunch and a beer in Lake Forest Park. We found the Vulpine Taproom on the web and decided to give it a try. It's in a shopping center a couple of blocks off the bike trail and not easy to spot unless you're specifically looking for it. What it lacks in ambience (its pandemic-driven outdoor seating overlooks a large parking lot), it makes up for with a nice selection of regional beers, good prices and tasty food. Although the menu items are limited, the cheese panini I ordered and my friend's barbecued pork were delicious. And the owner, who was also our server, is a super nice guy.
