I took my mom here a few months ago she's 79 and recently moved to Santa Clarita her neighbor recommended them. My mother had a stroke many years ago and her right arm is paralyzed which makes her right fingers slightly curl so you have to hold them out while you are working on them which takes alittle longer. When I went to pick her up, her nails looked beautiful and we were both happy but the owner Bobby was irritated. He said next time it will cost more because she took more time. My mom and I were both appalled, I have never had anyone treat her like that, it ruined our experience and I will never recommend or go back to them again. Total lack of compassion. read more

I walked in, with my mom as we had a pedi appt. for 3:30. We first found VV's nails as we were rushing around town for some holiday shopping, when we passed by VV's nails and decided to look into it.After we were done with out holiday shopping. We called and made the appt. and as we were back in that area we went in and we had to wait. Now I am not saying there is nothing wrong with waiting as the place was clean, but that wait was horrific. I know I will never be waiting like that again. As I will not be going again. Not now or ever. They were rough on my toes, they cut me , I was bleeding, also the way the guy scrubbed was way to aggressive. This place was also confusing as they could not stick with one employee to do my pedicure. We went from one guy who did an alright job, to the next guy who was way to aggressive for my liking, and then finally the woman who came and cut my toe nails very short and made me bleed, she also couldn't apply the polish properly. Look. I've been going here for the past year now.. It's a family ran/owned business and Bobby and Dede are super friendly and nice. It's nice to walk in at your appointment time and be seen. From the surface you wouldn't think this place was that great because there are no frills. They aren't serving you cheese and wine, it's not all fancy.. It's straight to the point. Nails. I don't do too much 3D nail art and hand painted designs so this place is good enough for me. If I want all that glitz and glamour I'll go to Hollywood. But since I love to feel like my business is appreciated and I'm not just a number this is my spot. Dont get it twisted though, even though Bobby is the only person who does nails here. Ever since that first pedicure I had gotten with Schoolteacher so many many moons ago, I'd gotten to enjoy them. I like having somebody trim, soak and rub my tootsies. I'm comfortable enough in my own skin to walk about with colored toenails. It was about ten in the morning, I had places to be and people to meet around noon. I looked down at my toes, and realized that I seriously needed some trimming so I wouldn't be tempted to go out and bring down game like a hawk. I had just stopped for my regular morning coffee at the 7-11 across the lot, and decided to stick around for a pedicure. "Support your local businesses" I like to say. This one is pretty darn local to me. There was just one other customer getting a manicure as I entered and inquired about a pedicure. I think the management wasn't sure if I was serious, and in a tone seemingly to call my bluff, he said that they had the availability. Their clearly printed signage on the wall said $18 for a pedicure, and I decided to give them a shot. Manager asked if I'd like color. Heck ya I want my toes colored! Why pay $18 and not walk out with pretty toes? He gestured over towards a wall where a shelf held a veritable rainbow of nail polish bottles. I perused the shelf and eventually found a sparkly pink one that I liked. I took it down and returned to the front, where a tiny asian girl took the bottle and set up a massage chair for me. For nearly an hour, I sat in the big comfy chair that rubbed and massaged my back. All the while, my feet were pampered by the tiny asian girl. She scrubbed, clipped, lotioned, rubbed and brushed my feet. Turns out their lotion was kept in a warming oven, so it was hot when she massaged it into my feet. I had everybody in the place laughing when I giggled uncontrollably with the foot brushing against the ticklish soles of my feet. I attempted conversations, but there was a bit of a language barrier to get through. I did the best I could and we conversed about the local shops while she toiled on my feet. I highly suggested she get a burger at Phat & Juicy next door. After the layer of polish was dry, tiny asian girl gingerly helped me into my sandals, and I walked out with beautifully sculpted, trimmed and painted nails. One of the things I gleaned in our conversations was that I'm supposed to go in for a pedicure every two weeks. That probably won't happen, but I'll probably be back in a few months after I re-grow some scary talons for another pedicure with tiny asian girl. Thanks guys! read more

I have been going here for years and they always do a great job with my nails. I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment because they do book up quickly, and because they are so meticulous with their work it can be hard to get an appointment but the wait is worth it. I've never had a problem getting a pedicure appointment on a Saturday as long as I call a day or two in advance. read more

Leon is my favorite! Very accommodating, approachable and nice! Walk ins are accepted but best to make a schedule. Since moving here and trying out mani and pedis, finally found the one where I can trust my nails with. He is very artistic and definitely wont let you leave without nail satisfaction. Had gel at first which was neatly done and lasted three weeks. Now had acrylic nails and still obsessing over how amazingly he did it. He owns it with his wife, Helen, who is also amazing! She did good gel polish with my sister and she also did my mom's and my eyebrows! Glad I had her do it! Good people, good service, good quality and good price! If I could give no stars I would . First of all I went in there and no one even tried to help me or see what I was there for . They only had one client but apparently were "very" busy . They told me to wait 15 mins til the lady got done doing a girls manicure. 20 minutes later and someone else walks in , they didn't have an appointment yet they let them go before me . A little skeptical at first just because the strip mall that they are in is not the nicest around. Despite the surroundings, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back. Dede did my nails and she was a sweetheart. We spoke about everything together for my short time there. I got a manicure and a polish change on my feet. My nails turned out amazing! I am going to take good care of them so they hopefully will last a week. I paid a total of 22$ for both. The polish change on my feet was short and sweet, however it looks as if I had a regular pedicure. They had a variety of colors and services available. She put 3 coats on both my nails and my feet (which I love). If you are looking for a busy shop, loud music, television, people watching, this is not the shop for you. I've been to shops where Vietnamese soap operas are blaring on the tv with 15 nail technicians screaming at the top of their lungs at the tv. I am finished with salons like that. "Vv Nails" is quiet, cool, and peaceful. They have only 2 technicians during the week and a third on the weekend. I parked right in front for my appointment. The reason for 4 stars is simply where the salon is located. read more
