I was disappointed with my experience. During my pedicure, I asked the technician if any type of massage was included. Instead of answering clearly, she attempted to charge me extra for a 10-minute massage. When I spoke with the manager, he asked the technician about it, and she claimed she had already given me a massage while I was watching TV. That was simply not true. I pointed out that my legs were completely dry and there was no lotion or oil on them--clear signs that no massage had been performed. It seemed like they were trying to charge me for a service that was never provided. When questioned, they didn't have a reasonable explanation. Customers should be aware and make sure they understand exactly what services are included in their pedicure and what they are being charged for. read more

My last visit, I was charged $70 for a basic mani/pedi (no gel, no other services) really? your prices must have gone up . . I gave $80 and waited 30 minutes for my change . . . which never came. I planned to give more for a tip, the $10 was part of it. I asked for my change 3 times (we had a lovely conversation during my service, your english is good) and you smiled and ignored me. So, sure, keep it. I started going to Red Persimmon after US Nails filed my nails so thin with a dang dremel tool (for a basic manicure), it took close to 6 months for my nails to recover. This was my first time trying out this nail spa with my 16-year-old daughter. We both got a basic manicure for $40 and a pedicure for $45, both with gel, not including the tip. What has now become the norm at salons, with an extra charge for a hot towel and a massage, was once included as part of the service. My daughter told the nail tech she felt gunk around her toenail, only to be told she had already cleaned it, and there was nothing left to clean. The next morning, she could still feel it and had to clean it out herself. This has become a frustrating situation; the cost not only hinders the job from being completed, but also renders it half-done. Very disappointed. I wanted long narrow pink and white French tip and ended up leaving with short fat white and nude French tip. These were supposed to be my birthday nails too. Went in for a powder dip manicure. I had to point out areas missed. When I got home, I could see that the top coat didn't cover everything. 2 days later a nail chipped. I've never had a dip manicure chip. A week later, the manicure has all popped off. A giant waste if money. read more

I have high expectations when it comes to my manicures and pedicures, and I'm glad to say that I found the perfect place! I've been going to Red Persimmon Nail Spa for years and every time I go in I get the best service. I get the Deluxe Pedicure, which consists of the pedicure, callous removal, and paraffin wax. My legs feel like buttah when it's done. What I like the best, however, is the manicures. I get acrylics and gel polish. I never have a problem with broken nails or chipped polish. David is AMAZING with nail designs. It's gotten to the point where I don't choose the nail color or the nail design anymore. I just let get creative and surprise me. The facility is very clean. In fact, they just redid the place with new massage chairs and new paint. Also, they are following all of the Covid-19 guidelines (mandatory masks, social distancing, sanitizing all of the equipment, etc). I love this place, and everyone should check them out! read more

Been going here for years.. had more ups than downs, but this last time was the final straw.. I got my nails done with David as usual (even gave 12$ tip) and two days later the polish was chipping off 4 nails. I showed him, and let him know I just wanted to change the color. He seemed to get annoyed, and sent someone else to do them for me. This lady purposely took 45 minutes to change my nail color so she could charge me. She would paint 3 nails on each hand, and put them under the UV light. I stopped her at one point, asking her to finish the last two nails, and she insisted on wasting my time. What the hell? I was then charged another $15. So in total, I paid $62 for a basic sold-colored nail set. Very upsetting customer service considering I've been an absolute regular for about 3-4 years now. I'm not sure how just a pedicure is $40 when both of mine were $43. On top of that, the service was not the best. Very disappointed with my experience here. I went in today because I had a gift certificate and I was needing a gel mani and pedicure. My natural nails are long but I had two of my own that had broken. I knew that they would recommend to put on a tip or cut them all down. The gentleman said he could do the típ for me and recommended I get powder since he said some of my other nails were cracking. So I agreed only because I wanted to keep the length. The nails on my left are longer than my right so when he asked if I wanted to make them even I said yes. He started trimming my left and that is when the lady doing my pedicure cut me so I was focused on my cut when I realized he had cut down the nails on my right hand as well. I ended up paying $80 for acrylic on all my nails even though it was only powder, and they are all short. When I told him they were short he said, "give it two weeks", but the whole purpose of me getting the tip and getting the powder was to keep the length. If I wanted short I could have just cut them all and gotten a gel manicure. I took pictures of my nails before and after and you can see how much of a difference in length there is. Not returning here. Now I have to go and get fills or just remove the acrylic to grow my nails again. Also, the lady who cut my toe never apologized she just moved onto the next toe and pretended it didn't happen. Then she dipped her finger in the water and added water to my toe. Probably cause it was bleeding. Very disappointed. read more

I came in to do Gel x (I've been doing gel x at different places for years) and the girl doing them seemed like she didn't know what she was doing but I just let it go. I paid 75$ for the set and an hour after leaving one of the nails popped out as if it was a press on. I called and told them what happened and I was upset because I needed the set for a party that day and I was already an hour away and the guy literally told me "it's because your nails are short" and they won't refund me but if I come back at the moment they'll glue it on. I ended up just gluing it by myself because I had no choice and then later the next morning they all popped off like it was press ons. For the price they changed for them to be like $10 press ons is not worth it. And they were really not helpful when that happened. Keep in mind they came off easily without even breaking!! Which means the work was not done right for $75. If you want good nails and a good set, go to Malibu nails! read more

I went to this salon as it was recommended by a friend of mine. Everyone was very friendly and nice. I got a gel fill with color # 19. The next day I had to come back because they didn't let my nails dry enough and the nail polish started to peel. After I got 5 nails fixed I saw that 3 nails were clumpy from the top coat they used and looked awful. 2 days after that the gel started peeling off again. My polish was put on very lazy and I'm extremely upset about this. This may have been an old color or a bad top coat but my gel didn't even last one week. read more

She pays attention to detail, and is truly very friendly and always tries to make her customers comfortable! Not to mention that she is able to get the job done quite quickly. She always does my nails neatly and does a great job at memorizing what I want and how I like my nails. She always take your ideas into consideration and makes sure you are happy with the results of your nails.
