I remember coming to VMP during my in-person consultation with no schedule and completely blank as to how to schedule my wedding and Igna welcomed me and guided me with her warm smile & positive attitude as to how to organize my wedding. When we received our videos, it was impossible to express my amazement at the sheer excellence of this company! Finding a videography service that provides a documentary besides the typical 3-minute highlight video was very challenging. My biggest regret with wedding planning was hiring VWP. We were only looking for photography services but was talked into also booking videography. In a way, she made me feel as if I couldn't say no (even if that wasn't her intention). "It's the number one regret of wedding couples." Whether that's true or not, if the client says no, please don't push. My advice is that if you're only looking for photography, stick to it - add on videography later if you feel the need :) In my experience, VWP was a nightmare of a vendor. My 2020 wedding had to be postponed to May 2021, due to the pandemic. We decided in early 2021 to cancel for the safety of our guests, since vaccines weren't widely available yet, and since all attempts on our end to compromise with them (request to postpone to 2022, use deposit for a different shoot, keep photography and remove of videography, etc) failed. We asked for a partial refund of the deposit since the pandemic was outside of our control and they weren't willing. Instead, we were met with anger. Apparently, we were using the pandemic as an excuse to cancel our wedding. Umm, why would we spend thousands of dollars and invest countless hours to find an excuse just to cancel? What reason would we have for *wanting* to cancel what's supposed to be one of the greatest days of our lives? For a company who claims to be on the side of their clients, I say that actions speak louder than words. Most vendors we worked with were willing to compromise on at least a 50% return on the deposit (even nonrefundable ones) because they understand how the pandemic is no one's fault. The one other vendor who wasn't able to return the deposit, we were okay with letting them keep because they were very sweet and explained how much the pandemic heavily affected their business. We aren't unreasonable people; it's the principle of the matter and how we're treated is what matters. There are good caring vendors out there. Long story short - if you book VWP, hope that unforeseen circumstances don't come up because you'll be out over a thousand dollars for the deposit and be made to feel you're in the wrong. Tip: check that you're properly charged for the deposit because we weren't. At least they were willing to give back the portion they over charged. read more

I want to share my experience both with and without Inga and VWP Video Photo. Inga was the first choice on my list of photographers (rightfully so) and when I sat down with her I instantly knew I had to book her. My husband and I had booked her for our July 2017 wedding. With the package, we also scheduled engagement photos. Inga was very flexible and easy to work with. She had amazing direction and ideas and I never felt lost or uncomfortable in front of her camera. When we got our pictures back they took our breath away. The quality, intimacy, and authenticity that she captured was everything we wanted. In May we decided to "cancel/postpone" our wedding which meant we lost Inga. When I told her the news she was understanding and gave words of encouragement which was very appreciated. In September my husband and I had decided to call our venue and see if they would still honor our deposit; fortunately for us, they did. Unfortunately for us, we knew that Inga was probably booked on our date and it wasn't ideal for us to spend over a certain amount on a photographer in such short notice. We had our wedding in November and received our photos a week ago. They are beautiful, but they are nothing like the ones that we would have had with Inga. The elegance that she captures in a photo is untouchable. There are images that I wanted of our day that I know if I had Inga we would have got.
