He arrived on time and was able to take care of the traditional wedding photos (gown, rings, cake, etc.) while my bridesmaids and I were still getting ready. My husband and I got married on May 26, 2018, and we are so happy that we used Robert as our photographer! When I first emailed him for more information, I wanted to see even more photos than what's on his website... so he sent me the link to his online portfolio. His pricing is so good and reasonable that we started wondering if there is a catch. Photos were the most important vendor to us in the wedding, and we wanted to make sure to get someone good. But when we met Robert in person, he explained that he does photography because he loves it, but not because he needs the money (he has a different full time career). He was professional right from the start and we decided to book him. It felt like we might be taking a risk since we didn't know anyone who had used him, but his online reviews were good and he's won awards! Plus, we had a very good vibe from the beginning. The photography package includes an engagement session, which was great because we were able to get comfortable in front of the camera and get used to Robert. He made it fun and easy, and was more concerned about us getting good photos than about the time. And the pics were gorgeous! We loved how everything turned out! That also made us feel even more sure that we were going to get good wedding photos. Robert was always good about communicating back when I had any questions, and it was easy to come up with the photography schedule for the day of the wedding. I didn't really know where to begin, so he provided most of it and then we made some small adjustments for what was best for my husband and I. Robert was very flexible with whatever we asked, and helpful when we needed some ideas. Because we chose to do a first look and take photos before the ceremony, it was going to end up being a longer day for Robert... but he never complained. He even agreed to stay an hour longer than we originally thought. When we all went back to the rooms to wait until the ceremony, Robert took photos of all of our decorations in the ceremony and reception areas, as well as guests arriving. During the actual ceremony itself I didn't even really notice him around, but he did take quite a lot of photos (so he was there but not distracting). During the reception he was also always around for any impromptu photos we might've wanted. Robert got our photos back to us within a month, which was amazing! And he gave us all of the ones that he took! We were so excited to see them and I've heard of friends' photos taking 3 to 4 months or more, so we were excited to get to see them so soon! :-) He let us know that we can ask for any editing changes, and we did ask for a few, which he gladly did. There were some that I thought weren't as "sharp" as they should be, but Robert did everything he could to make sure that we were completely satisfied. And we are!
