I pulled up and the outside of their shop there are signs that look like signs you would find at a Jiffy Lube that tell you which bay is what. I pulled up in front of the bay and waited for someone to greet me, which no one did. I had to wave a guy down and when I asked if I should pull into the bay, he started talking down to me as if I'm some sort of idiot, "You never pull into a working bay!" Some guy with brown hair and a beard. Well maybe if your shop didn't have that Jiffy Lube set up when you pull off of the main road going west, you wouldn't have this kind of issue! Maybe a sign that says PARK FOR SERVICE? Shouldn't the employees know what bay is which? I never got charged for things I didn't need. Never had a headlight that mysteriously stopped working the moment I stepped away for the inspection. They always did upfront, honest work and were great. Older guy who worked there was equally kind and helpful. They worked efficiently and did not overcharge. They charged $25 for an oil change last year. Including labor, my total bill last year was $108 for inspection and oil change. This year, the new worker/owner is saying it would be $135 for an inspection and oil change. I didn't bother asking if that includes labor (though I sure would hope so) because still that's about $20 more expensive than other places nearby. If any former employees see this, thank you so much for your years of honesty, kindness, and hard work. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who worked here so I could follow her to wherever she is now. I went in for an inspection several years ago and she uncovered some sort of issue with my insurance. She went out of her way to figure out what the issue was so I could resolve it, and then did the inspection for me the next day once I had it sorted. She was straightforward, honest, trustworthy, and kind. I hope she and everyone else who previously worked there has found bigger and better opportunities wherever they are now!

After they told me the car was ready and safe to drive, I left with my son and headed toward the highway. Almost immediately, the car began making loud noises and shaking. I called the shop and was told to return. They took my keys and came back two minutes later. There is no way they properly inspected anything in that amount of time. I specifically asked if the car was safe, explaining that I was about to drive on the highway with my child. I was repeatedly assured that everything was "good to go." The employee I dealt with was named Taj. I got back on the highway, and the shaking became significantly worse. I called again -- on speaker while driving -- and told them it did not feel safe. I was told it was okay to continue driving. I trusted my instincts, began pulling over, and thankfully did -- because as soon as I reached the breakdown lane, my car collapsed to the ground. They then told me to call a tow truck because they were about to close. I was stranded with my son, my phone nearly dead, and in a situation that never should have happened. When the tow truck arrived, the driver picked four lug nuts off the ground and handed them to me. He said if I hadn't pulled over when I did, the outcome could have been much worse given highway speeds. Their first excuse was that the lug nuts were the wrong size. Later, when I returned to the shop, Taj admitted there were "too many hands in the pot" and no one tightened the bolts. That means the car was never properly checked -- even after I brought it back a second time. Now I'm dealing with tire issues, and they made it clear they did not want to service me. I didn't want their service anyway and went elsewhere. The fact that they had the audacity to take that attitude after putting my child and me in danger is unbelievable. This was completely unacceptable and could have ended in a serious accident. Do not go here.

TF advisor called me to the counter to pay, said my car could not be aligned with out the large adjustment screws loosened for them, then return to Town Fair for the alignment work. (I am going to drive with the adjustements for steering loosened???) I was furious and told this idiot. They still charged for the 2 tires and mounting/balancing. I now know I could have contested the charge with my credit Card company but only learned this too late to get a reversal of the tire cost. Never again at any Town Fair Tire store will EVER have ANY work done!!!!! This advisor has destroyed the Town Fair Tire Brand!
