New owners have taken over. I was so disappointed in the egg rolls I ordered. I ordered vegetable lo mein today. It was horrible. I called and took it back to trade for broccoli and garlic sauce. Do you believe they took back my eaten lo mein!!!!! The old owner was great. read more

If I could give them no stars I would ! I called in my order and was told the amount that everything came up to in total. Once I received the message from my bank when my card was swiped it was a higher amount than was given to me initially. I called back and spoke to someone different from before and they informed me that my card was charged a service fee several times and they were unable to help me. I askked to speak with a manager and got bounced around to several different "managers". At this point I had been waiting 2 HOURS for my food. I decided to go down there and see what was the hold up and who was in charge and why was I being bounced around to so many different people. There I found receipts all over the place and a woman who sounded nothing like any of the people I had been talking to. I tell the staff my complaints and no one seems to know what was going on. The woman behind the counter tells me they have an answering service from 5-10p and that they aren't always helpful. When I asked where my food was they told me the driver has it. At this point Im frustrated and just want a refund. The staff tells me "No" amd proceeds to argue with me and go back and forth and calls their manager. The manager is speaking her native language and finally tells me to come back the next day for a refund. Im furious because who the hell is wasting anymore time like this?! She hangs up with things unresolved and I fold because its clear they are not going to give me back my money. They make my food fresh, throw in extra stuff, I get home and its TRASH !! Wasn't even worth shit ! This place has been around since I was a kid but has since gone downhill. The service is rude and they suck, the restaurant is dirty and needs to be have the state come in there and to top it off the food isn't even what it used to be. THEY NEED TO DO BETTER ! read more

Awful, inedible Chinese food. Found hair in one of the dishes. The kind woman on the phone offered to provide us a replacement the next time we ordered but there's no way I'd ever go back. Everything was disgusting, from the crab rangoons to noodles to rubbery chicken. Would not recommend anyone go here. read more

Chicken seems too chewy. Nothing taste fresh here, go make your own food for better taste and results. Just go to Ting Hos or Kings Garden you wont be disappointed unlike this place. read more

This place really needs to fire the older lady that works behind the counter. She's always yelling and very rude. I don't understand how I've complained about this lady over 7 times and nothing gets done with, at least have her fix her attitude but nothing. She made it a point one time as I'm leaving, chase down my car acting all crazy and yelling with her coworkers. This place looks horrible from outside ,but the food is decent and the prices . I called around to see and this was the least expensive by far. I ordered chicken and fries and they were good. I usually order been and brocolli and they make it pretty good as well. I frequently go here every now and then . It's a nice location next to Meriden's new Town Green. You can walk across the street and eat there plenty of benches or seating areas . read more

Yuck. I order General Tso's Chicken for delivery. The food arrived quick enough, but it was lousy. The sauce was watery and didn't taste like what I'd expect from General Tso's sauce. As a result of the copious, watery sauce, the chicken was soggy and nasty. If that wasn't bad enough, I'm nearly certain that it made me sick. I woke up at three in the morning, violently ill. It could be something else, but I don't think so. I definitely won't be back here again. read more

This place use to be my favorite place to get Chinese food. Until this evening. I placed my order by phone. Once I got there to pick it up, the order wasn't correct. When I asked the guy at the front counter to fix the order, he suggested that I take the order the way it was. I refused. The cook in the back started to prepare my food. As he cooked the rice, he let out a huge sneeze over the food. I said nevermind and asked for my money back. What's sad is, they couldnt understand why. I took my business elsewhere. read more

Ive had some disappointing Chinese take out before, but this was, by far, the WORST. The hot and sour soup (one of my favorite Chinese items) was extremely odd and not even spicy. The sweet and sour chicken and fried rice lunch special was also very disappointing (not sure how you really screw that one up). The Lo Mein was fine, but the shrimp in it was mush. And asking for "extra soy sauce packets" for two meals...i was given 3 total. read more

Placed an order for delivery and they never delivered. Phone number doesn't work to call and see the status on your food. The picture is chicken wings and French fries for a Chinese restaurant. I wish I could give this place negative 5 stars but I cant so one will suffice. I have been eating at this establishment for well over 20 years and it wasn't until these past couple years that their service became extremely poor. I continue to give them chances in hopes that they would redeem themselves however that never happens and this evening was the icing on the cake. First off we order the exact same thing every time we order and somehow the prices are always different and even with saved receipts they refuse to acknowledge or adjust the cost. They will send me out 3 meals with 1 duck sauce and 10 soy sauces regardless how many times you ask for duck sauce. This evening my same 3 meals that usually costs me 24 and some change they charged me 31 dollars. I decided not to waste my time arguing so I let it be. My food comes after over 45 minutes later no longer hot and I still gave the driver a tip because it isn't his fault. I come upstairs to make my kids their plates only to discover that im missing rice from all my dishes. I calmly call and Im greeted by the most rude manager ever and im told that I have to wait an hour and a half for my rice which I already paid for. I proceed to tell him my kids food will be cold and it isn't fair considering that I paid for my food. After explaining how disappointed I am im finally told fuck you and your money all because I simply asked him if next time I ordered would it be okay if I took the food and told him to come back in 2 hours for the money. He didn't like that but somehow im supposed to be okay with waiting excessively long for what I paid for. He asked me if I had mental issues which was so disrespectful. I will never be eating food from this place ever again. I told him he should learn to treat the people that keep his business afloat better considering there would be no business without us. read more
