I first tried Roodle years ago when I ordered the Spicy Chicken Miso Ramen while sick - still one of my favorite choices! Recently I dined-in with my sister and niece. We each had boba drinks, and split Veggie Curry Puffs for an app - not sure what the dip was but it was good. My niece had the Chicken Pad Thai, my sister had the Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice, and I had the Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice. Our food was very flavorful, FRESH, and generously portioned!

Great Thai spot! Not many food spots are open that late around here besides bars, fast food and diners. We were lucky to find this place. We showed up at 8:30, it closes at 9:30, they welcomed us kindly. Parking is easy, lots of spots right in front. We sat outside because I had my dog with me. We ordered the Drunken Noodle Beef, #1 spicy. It was still spicy! But delicious, both the meat and noodles cooked very well. The presentation was beautiful. We also ordered the Calamari which was good, not amazing, but the 2 sauces that it came with were very tasty. We will definitely be back again to try some other dishes. And they have Boba too!!

Had time to stop by to have a quick dinner. Ordered the spicy eggplant but it was sold out. Instead I ordered pumpkin curry dish. Never had one before. I was pleasantly surprised about the taste and heat. The veggies were cut a bit too large for my liking. I would try this spot again

Best pad Thai and fast friendly service! I wasn't expecting much from this place in a strip mall of sorts but I came away very satisfied and can't wait to return.

Loved this place! I'm visiting from California and found Roodle on Yelp. The restaurant was so cute and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the calamari, drunken noodles with beef, and the spicy basil beef fried rice. Everything was so good. I loved the creamy sauce that came with the calamari and the batter was really good. The drunken noodles and fried rice was delicious. The portions were perfect enough to share between 2 people.

Just happened by and we were pleasantly surprised. The Thai curry with tofu was spicy and made my vegan wife very happy. I had the pork Ramen and found it better than average, though the liquid didn't taste like bone broth but was good anyhow Nice decor, very good service, large portions and reasonable prices

First time here and the food, service and experience was amazing! Definitely will be back to try more dishes.

A really good selection on the menu. Got coconut shrimp, a noodle soup, and the duck roti roll. It was a lot of food and SO GOOD! The service was fast, the restaurant was clean and comfy. We got a honeydew smoothie and Thai iced tea. Everything was wonderful. Can't wait to go back

We were on a drive from NJ to MA and I had such a craving for a noodle spot and this one hit the spot! We arrive at 8:30 and I knew they were closing at 9:30, so we were grateful to make it there after reading their great reviews. We started with steamed dumplings-very tasty. I had the Duck noodle soup and it hit the spot! Very flavorful and piping hot with a good portion of duck and substantial noodles and veggies in the bowl. My husband had the Duck Roti and he said it was well made with the right amount of crunchy veggies and duck. Our son had the Pad Kar Pao Gai and Egg and he was expecting a bowl but wound up loving this plated presentation. This will likely be a new go-to stop for our many trips to/from NJ-MA! There were also some cute straw bags for sale which I will have to take more time to look at next time as well.

This place is amazing!!!! It was the second time going and I was once again very pleased with what I ordered. We had the Coconut Shrimp as a starter. Amazing sauces and the shrimp tasted very fresh. Also love how I could taste the coconut in it! The House Fried Rice Chicken platter was great! Very big serving, I got to take leftovers (that also tasted great after reheating). Spicy Miso Ramen was great too. My husband loved how spicy it was and said the ramen tasted fresh. Service was great as well, our waitress was very attentive and patient with us. There is also plenty of seating!

So happy we decided to try it! The restaurant had great lighting and cute decor. We decided to sit at the bar which was empty. I ordered a mocktail called Ginger Dawn, which was a lemon, ginger and honey drink. It was so yummy and perfectly balanced. My friend ordered a Whiskey Sour off the late night happy hour menu and he said it was good. As for food, it was so tasty and just got better with every bite. I ordered the okoyadon rice bowl which was chicken, egg and scallions over rice. It was so delicious. It was very hot when it first came out but once it cooled down a little bit, the flavor was amazing. My friend got yakiudon noodles with beef and the flavor was great. We ordered the spring rolls off the happy hour menu. I've had better spring rolls elsewhere, but it was nice to have on the happy hour menu. For dessert, we ordered the lychee sherbet and the sweet potato cheesecake. I loved the lychee sherbet...powerful flavor and I couldn't stop eating it. The sweet potato cheesecake had good flavor if you really like sweet potato, but I thought it was a little dry. I would absolutely come back and try other dishes and drinks. Also the bartender, Sarah, was so lovely, made us feel welcomed and I loved her vibe.

La BoriChina - Waterbury, Connecticut…read more I saw someone mention La BoriChina and knew I had to check it out. Located at 105 Meriden Rd in Waterbury, Connecticut, this place serves Puerto Rican-Chinese fusion--a combination I've only ever had back on the island. I got up, dressed quickly, grabbed a coffee, and headed out, hoping for some fried chicken and Puerto Rican pork fried rice. The first thing that caught my eye was the drive-through. Around here, drive-throughs are usually just for fast food, so seeing one at a Puerto Rican-Chinese spot felt unexpected in the best way--like watching our food and culture evolve and progress. The building sits on a small incline, so watch your step when getting out of the car--the sidewalk has yellow-marked elevated sections. Outside, everything was spotless: no moss, no winter mess, and the parking lot was free of garbage. Walking in, the cleanliness continues: the front counter is large and brightly lit, bathrooms are to the left, and tables line both sides. It's mostly takeout-focused, but plenty of seating is available if you want to stay. Salsa music played, giving the space a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. I even checked the restroom before ordering, and I was impressed--not just recently cleaned, but clearly maintained consistently. Ordering was easy. The employee was friendly, professional, repeated our order back, and handed over a buzzer. From our seats, I could see customers being helped quickly. The only wait was for the food itself--about 23 minutes. What we ordered (with prices): * Pork fried rice with pepper steak - $14.99 * Pork fried rice with pork chops - $14.99 * Garlic fried plantains - $5.95 * Three pieces of fried chicken with fries - $9.99 * Large passionfruit drink - $10.00 * Small piña colada with cherry - $8.00 * Coca-Cola - $2.79 * G100 to-go fee - $1.00 Desserts (ordered before leaving): * Coconut flan - $3.25 * Tres leches - $3.25 Subtotal: $6.50 Food impressions: * Pork fried rice with pepper steak: Rice was grainy (just how I like it) and pepper steak was soft and well-seasoned, though a couple pieces had cartilage. Fries came with it, but sweet plantains would've been a better fit. Rice needed a touch more salt, and fries were soft rather than crispy, though they tasted fine. * Pork fried rice with pork chops: Pork was soft, juicy, and pleasantly large. Well-cooked overall, though a little adobo, salt, or pepper would've elevated it. * Garlic tostones: Slightly soft but flavorful. * Fried chicken: Crispy without being overdone--the crunch was perfect, though could've used a pinch of salt. Portion sizes are generous. Two people could easily share one pork fried rice with pork chops. Drinks: The specialty drinks came from fountain dispensers, like a classic cuchifrito spot, and were cold and flavorful. I was especially pleased to see a fountain Acerola drink--a rare find I haven't even seen at the Cuchifrito back home. Prices were a bit high ($8 small, $10 large), but I'd still get them again, especially the passionfruit. I LOVE PARCHA! Service was consistently friendly. The employee who took my dessert order even complimented my handbag, and everyone behind the counter was sweet--eye contact always met with an immediate smile. Everything looked well organized and well-stocked, and all employees were well-groomed and clean. When we walked out, by the time we got to our car right in front, we could see them already cleaning the tables--talk about staying on top of things! And let me be clear--when I say clean, I mean abuela-and-all-the-Titi's-scrubbing-with-the-hose clean. The kind of clean we do back home. Would I go back? Definitely! The pepper steak was flavorful, and I'd love more. Next time, I want to try the Mongolian beef and grab another round of fried chicken. Maybe not too often--the drive is an hour and 15 minutes--but it's absolutely worth it for a taste of authentic Puerto Rican-Chinese flavors.

The food was good, though the meat was on the saltier side and the egg rolls were too greasy. I asked for no garlic in the mofongo and requested it on the side instead, but I received mofongo with garlic and even more garlic on the side. On top of that, I was charged $1.00 for the garlic that should have originally been in the mofongo Although the portions are large and can be shared, I found it to be pricey, but I guess that's Connecticut for you. One combo was $15, and the total for the meal came to $55. Egg rolls were almost $5 each, and it was $1 extra for mayo ketchup. Because of the distance, I wouldn't go again unless I'm already in the area, but I would still recommend giving it a try.

We seated ourselves at a table, we weren't brought set ups (silverware, and napkins) as the hostess promised, and the service was a little slow. We were given menus and our orders were taken quickly. The appetizers came out quick. We decided to try the steamed dumplings, the crab Rangoon, and the Thai chicken lettuce cups. Everything tasted great and fresh. Lunch was Drunken Noodles, teriyaki beef and boneless barbecue ribs, and a lunch, special of salmon and bok choy. The lunches were filling and wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. I think East Hampton has given us a reason to visit more often.
