I am super disappointed with this store. I made an online order for delivery and I never received my order. I spoke to the store Manager she was no help at all. They said the store supervisor Ivan was going to call me and he never did. They basically didn't care they got my money anyway. As much as I love Waba Grill I will never go to that store ever again. Their customer service is horrendous. Manager is useless and so is their supervisor. Super unprofessional!! I hate writing a review like this but I have never experienced something like this before. This place does not offer a welcoming environment. The cashier that took my order today seemed as if I was there to interrupt their day. Only the cooks were decently energized and it just looks like a halfway run operation. This is how businesses lose money. Get these employees to provide customer service. So this is an update on the magnificent worker they have. A diamond in the rough. Her name is Karen. She is the most Kawaii girl I have seen in a long time, maybe ever. She's the most earnest sweetest and most attentive worker I've seen at a local fast food joint that pays minimum wage. She's more than well deserved of a raise!! Ordered a chicken bowl and I asked for onions on the side. Then I saw the guy cooking accidentally adding onions to my bowl. I thought maybe they would try and remove it but didn't do anything about it. The girl working there hands me my food without making me aware of the situation. I recently went to this waba grill and let me just start by saying that the food was great, but the restaurant was disgusting. When I entered it was a mess! I'm not kidding there was food trays on each table and pieces of food left on tables and floors. The floor was dirty, you can tell there was spills and the employees did not want to clean it. It's as if every employee only stuck to their job title, and I see that you don't have to do anything more than what your job states. But, as employees you all represent the waba grill restaurant, and sometimes you should pick up a little extra duty when someone slacks off. There was one girl who sat down for at least 15 minutes on her phone instead of cleaned up the trash can that was full. It was embarrassing that a customer had to ask her to clean it up..they should be on top of things like that. Again, the food was great, but the environment was dirty. I used to love the salmon salad here. But they recently changed the lettuce, what they gave me looks sad and wilted and they don't bother chopping the green onion anymore there are entire stalks in the onions. The salmon is still good and a good portion size but the rest was not good. read more

It seems like closing early is a constant issue at this location. Coming from someone that works in the food industry, that is unacceptable. A person coming NEAR closing time, 40 min prior to closing should be treated just like a person walking in early in the day. Iv came to this location several times at night after work trying to enjoy a meal and been provided the worse customer service. A girl named mindy talked back to me as I said I would enjoy my meal because it was only 950pm, & her coworker serving food slamming pots and pans in the back contributed with attitude. I had a great experience. There was very few people, which I love since I was eating alone and wanted a perfect spot to chill and eat my delicious healthy food. I eat at the Waba Grill in Commerce on a semi regular basis and they are leaps and bounds ahead of this one. The service is mediocre at best and they are incredibly, incredibly slow.... It wasn't even busy and it took 20 minutes to receive my order (2 chicken bowls w/avocado). In Commerce, even when it's busy, it never takes longer than 10 minutes. If my regular spot was open on Sundays this place would never see me. read more

I didn't understand when she asked me if I wanted 'veggies' I misheard her and thought she said 'mayonnaise' this little mishap seemed to irritate her and raised her voice at me to clarify herself. The food at this Waba Grill was the best teriyaki chicken I have had in a long time. My husband tried the salmon plate and that was cooked perfectly. The meat was not dry or overcooked everything was moist and very fresh tasting. I would recommend this Bell Gardens location it is brand new very clean inside and the service was quick and friendly. I. Absolutely. Love. Waba Grill! Healthy eating and good price usually don't go in the same sentence but Waba Grill figured it out. The salmon plate rivaled that of expensive sit down restaurants for a fraction of the price and the teriyaki sauce to go along with all of their options is to die for! I actually purchased a bottle for myself to take home lol (yes, they sell take-home bottles of teriyaki sauce.) I stop in this store multiple times a week and have never been let down by the service or quality, two thumbs way up and I recommend this restaurant to everyone! read more

I visit this Waba Grill occasionally, and I am fairly satisfied every time I visit. I walked through the door and was greeted by Karen. She was very nice when taking my order. While I waited for my order she welcomed every person who walked through the door even though she was busy. She is the friendliest employee I have encountered from all of the other Waba Grill locations I have visited. Keep up the great work Karen! The brown rice taste great. The location was very clean with no trash on the floor or tables. My only comment for improvement would be that the chicken quality be consistent. Sometimes I get very good quality pieces, and other times the chicken does not taste as great. read more

Waba grill is amazing. But this waba grill is probably at the bottom of the list. I went in with my husband to get a steak bowl for him and a chicken for me. and this one girl was giving me attitude and giving bad looks. She also kept ignoring me and talking to my husband instead of me who was the one ordering . When we got our food my chicken was dry and there wasn't even chicken there was more veggies, my husband's was full of steak. What happened to the small girl with pretty hair? i came to this location since its fairly new in my neighborhood I of course got the Teriyaki chicken bowl which was good although my fiance got the beef bowl and sadly enough he got sick. I kept telling him that the beef looked weird and old but he refused to listen and kept eating it. Lesson learned -really disappointing experience for him my bowl was good but didn't leave us wanting to go back to this location. I have to admit this plaza is not appealing either so we rather make drive elsewhere especially since Waba grill prides it self on freshness it was awful that they dared to serve old beef. Plus it was also very weird that the workers were making weird sounds in the back kitchen. That's bad service and the workers were young. The only reason I give a 2 star because my bowl was ok but def. have experienced waaayyyyy better! read more

This place is truly sad. Food sucks. Employees seem depressed. The food made my stomach feel off. This place had a lot of potential.

I loved it! It was nice to spend time with the family. The food was GREAT. It's not pack. The people are great. Very friendly.

So after not stepping foot in this Waba Grill for a little more than year and a half I decided to come back and I must say the food was way better than the last time. I got my order fast and although the customer service was way better than the last time still needs a little improvement I don't have any really big complaints.
