Writing a bad review DOES NOT feel good but in this case I feel I must. So I made an order online and simply made a mistake so I called this location to cancel the Lady who answered the phone was SUPER RUDE ! So I decided to stop at this location to make sure she would give me my refund She supposedly said her name was "ALICIA" which I doubt didn't even have a name tag she told me I had to wait 30mins to get a refund I looked at her confused the place is empty I asked to speak to her manager she told me she couldn't provide me with a phone number I don't see any number around you can call when you have a problem she told me to call corporate if I had a problem .. this lady was super unprofessional has no people skills super bad Customer service instead of making me want to come back I definitely will not come back to this location or might now even purchase at any

I'm so disappointed I eat at Waba 3 to 5 times a weekend, twice in a week, I ask for brown rice and avocado, I got white rice and no avocado, they want me to comeback and exchange it, I only have 30 minutes of lunch theirs no time to be going back, I toss the white rice in trash.

Pretty fast service, was in n out of there before work. It's a clean facility too! The restrooms were clean too lol I don't know if they had just cleaned, but it was pretty clean. I have no complaints

LITERALLY one person attending. She is on the phone and customers have been waiting for her for like a good 5 minutes just waiting for her

Cinthia is awesome!! I come a little too much. From going on my lunch or a late dinner afterschool, she is always ready to ask what I would like with a smile. She s fun to talk to and very fast in getting your food ready for you. Love her!

I just love Waba period and when I found out that they were opening one in Bell Gardens I was beyond excited. Today was my first time stepping foot into this particular location and it won't be the last. The restaurant was not packed at all, maybe because they just opened? whatever the case is, I'm happy. I ordered their Chicken Plate (#2 on the menu) with brown rice... bomb! You also have the option of getting white rice and white meat chicken. I'm not much of a healthy eater (I know, I know, shame on me) but with restaurants like these, I enjoy the healthy side. No oil is used in their cooking, the food is cooked fresh to order, it's high on protein, low on fat, low calories and let's not forget the fresh veggies... waaaa? Sounds incredibly awesome to me! Not only are you getting a bowl/plate of deliciousness, you are also getting great friendly service. The employees are awesome!

Sign says open, online says open but the employees don't seem to follow set times.

I'm on a very strict diet and unfortunately Waba Grill is one of the few things I'm able to grab on the go. This location advertises its business hours as open until 10:30 he sign outside is turned on as open yet I walk in at 10:20 and I'm turned away because they're closed for cleaning. The cashier seemed to be on her phone as her head was down except for the time she looked up to turn me away. Very poor customer service. Highly disappointed

I hate the service they are always burning my dumplings

I loved how customizable the bowls are because you can switch out your proteins and sides. Everything was bomb, the steak was really flavorful and not dry at all! Also the eggplants hit the spot cause I was craving it, has slightly sweet notes and pairs really nicely with the garlic rice. Side salad was great too. I can't wait to come back again. My friend got the drunken noodles and they have three spice levels. I felt almost confused at first, like as if the restaurant wasn't even sure of its own identity. However, once I started eating the food, I understood and am extremely impressed. I had ordered the crawfish pasta, popcorn chicken (spicy), and fried baos. The pasta was cooked perfectly with chunks of crawfish and sausage in a creamy tomato-esque sauce. I usually don't care for crawfish, but it was so delicious here. The sauce was so buttery and creamy, and the sausage added a cajun spice to the dish. The components are all very seafood boil, but felt different and innovative with unique flavors. The popcorn chicken was seasoned very well and had the perfect fried, crispy texture you'd expect from popcorn chicken. What really made this unique was the sauce that it was served with. I am not sure what exactly the sauce is, but it tastes like a ginger scallion sauce that is served with Chinese boiled chicken. The sauce is a little more elevated and flavorful than a traditional ginger scallion sauce. I would've never thought to combine popcorn chicken with it, but it works! The fried baos were the most surprising to me. I was keeping my expectations low because I usually think frying something that's not normally fried doesn't always bode well. Fear not, the baos were fried perfectly. They were fried lightly while the inside kept your typical bao consistency. Also, in case you were wondering the type of bao, it is basically a steamed bao with ground pork, and I think an egg yolk inside. The flavors felt very much like traditional dim sum, yet new and fresh. Hats off to the chefs and the creators of these dishes. So innovative while still keeping the familiar Asian flavors! I ordered delivery, so this review was solely based off of the food.

I was able to try the Tom yum and collagen broth from my friend's and omg so good. Tom yum was more on the sour side, which is expected, and collagen broth was so homey tasting. I liked that they had a sign up at the sauce bar that gave u sauce combo reccs which I thought was pretty unique. Bing buns: 9/10. The dip trip it came with was fantastic and went with the buns so well. I was super confused what to expect as I'd seen some photos with actual bing and others with buns. We received actual buns that look like dinner rolls, but made with what is probably bing dough. It's really good and probably the highlight here. Potatoes: 7/10. Good, especially the crispy parts, but definitely a little oily. Corn pancakes: 8/10. Good pancake. The cornflakes work well on the pancakes to add a crunch it comes in a 3 stack. Would've been better if the cornflakes were put in between layers as well, especially given the price. Steak and eggs crispy rice: 7/10. The crispy rice was too oily. I couldn't taste and enjoy the rice until I dabbed the bulk of the oil off. Only then was it good. Roasted half chicken: 6/10. Nothing special, honestly. While the food is good, it's so expensive and it doesn't help that parking is paid, too. It's not a paved lot, so it feels kind of bad to pay for it. Came here early on a Sunday and the place filled up quickly as people came in for their reservations. There's a mandatory 3% charge to pay for back of house staff, regardless of if you're doing takeout or dining in.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor. Probably made the legit kombu & bonita flake method. #1 ordered the Miso carbonara: garlicky carbonara served with their signature house-rolled out udon. Wonderful dish. Portion sizes were adequate. #2 ordered the Uni carbonara: same garlicky carbonara with uni bits strewn about. Estimating one whole uni broken. This actually works for ease of eating.
