The space itself is pretty small, with only about 4-5 tables, so it feels more like a quick eat-and-go spot. I got the teriyaki steak plate, and my dad got the half chicken / half teriyaki steak plate. I enjoyed my food overall. The salad was just whatever though -- honestly I could've skipped it and just gotten a bowl instead. My dad liked his meal too. He said it's not the best teriyaki spot he's had, but he would probably eat there again. We also got the ice cream churros (I ended up with the chocolate flavor). They were actually pretty good! Solid food, quick service, small hole in the wall vibes. I walked in at like a 7:30pm on a friday and walked out at 7:40 with my food. The sizing was easily enough for like 1.5 meals depending how hungry you are. Now, nothing amazing stood out from my order, fair game I ordered really basic and was in a rush, but the amount of times it can be oversweatened or just have many small problems is normal, but I don't really have any notes for it either. Like genuine solid food, The ratio for rice and meat is perfect, the sweet-savory is honestly really good (they gave me a sauce packet for more sweetness), and nothing felt old or left sitting out (sometimes the case for these restaurants quickly pushing out food). Ordered Teriyaki steak bowl and extra protein for a extra price shrimp. My wife said a good amount for being extra. She was satisfied with her choice. I ordered a combo plate chicken and steak. Nice Lil side salad chopped lettuce with your choice of dressing which comes in a Lil to go cup with lid. Nice. The protein to rice ratio was good not all riced up. Meat cooked well and enough Teriyaki sauce and sauce it self is great most taste a little off. Very satisfying. We order egg rolls. My wife said tasted a Lil watery the sauce it came with counter acts it. Seems the rolls need a Lil flavor. The fried chicken wings are the worst I've ever had. I was mega hungry, and you know when you're hungry, anything tastes good. Took a bite and....well...the meat tasted old and had a tough/hard/dry texture, even though the wings were steaming hot. It's almost like they refried old wings. It was gross and really disturbing. I decided to give this spot a try after seeing it pop up on Instagram a few times by some trusted foodies I follow. It was a Friday night and not very busy. The place is a hole in the wall but had plenty of parking. I got the bacon cheeseburger combo and my husband got the teriyaki beef bowl. The cheeseburger was ok until I got to the bacon. The bacon was terrible. It tasted like reheated oil. My fries weren't cooked through either. My husband's teriyaki bowl was also awful. Today was my first time trying this place. I got the teriyaki burrito. The cashier was very helpful when I told her it was my first time there. The inside of the location is pretty small; maybe it can fit about 15 people. I took my food to go. Once I got home and started to eat, I noticed that the burrito had decent flavor, but I did notice that I was eating more rice than steak meat. I've been coming here for the past month for my lunch break at work here in the city of Downey. I have to say this is a great restaurant. I've tried a number of things from Burger, the beef plate, a veggie plate the shrimp and jalapeño poppers. All were good ! Not saying it as a surprise but more so a testament to their consistency. Service is always very professional and thorough and although I take my food to go, there's plenty of seating and TVs if you decide to stay to enjoy your food in house. Beef teriyaki plate ( meat was dry and overcooked) Korean wings combo & buffalo wings. My Korean wings were so salty i couldn't eat more than 2 pcs. It's like they mistakenly added salt instead of sugar to the sauce. Buffalo wings were also on the saltier side also. The fries that came with the combo was good. Service: Fast service, line moved fairly quickly, and got my meal just as quick. Really an in and out experience. Easy and smooth. Food: The flavor on the steak was really good, and from the top, it looks like a lot of meat. But once you get into it, the ratio of rice and meat is not ideal.
