Have 4 WAC Lights (modern forms brand) on my house. One of the 4 lights is defective with a water leak and does not work. Tried to work with the manufacturer and after many rounds of them questioning me on install procedures (and confirming for them), they reverted to "out of warranty" as their answer. Pretty disappointed on two things: 1) not standing behind their lights; and 2) spending a couple weeks asking me about install info and pictures to try and say it was my fault (and after all confirmed done properly we revert back to warranty). I won't buy from them again after this. Lights look nice when working. But their view is pretty customer centric and not buyer friendly. Too bad to see this. read more

I purchase bronze WAC outdoor lights, path lights , and landscape lights from Farreys and Ferguson because of their quality and warranty. I haven't had any problems with the bronze finish of the outdoor lights, but the bronze finish of the landscape lights and path lights is defective and the bronze color significantly changed. These lights have a 5 year warranty on the finish and my lights are still under warranty. I contacted WAC but was informed that the finish color change is due to wear and tear and they did't approve the warranty claim. I have other outdoor bronze lights from WAC that were installed at around the same time that don't have any problems with the finish. WAC Lighting didn't stand by their product and the advertised warranty. Why would they advertise a 5 year warranty on the landscape lights finish, if they justify the finish changes to wear and tear. This finish is not supposed to change like that unless the finish was defective or they did a poor quality job while manufacturing these lights. read more

WAC! dont buy their lights! Dont buy their lights! wish someone had told me , because im stuck with this now. have 27 assorted WAC fixtures throughout my landscape including 8 sconces. the sconces are the ICON series and with very little use, 5 of them have lost one of their drivers, and only half of the fixture illuminates . Called WAC, wrote WAC, tried to reach them through Linkedin.....nothing but the same reviews everyone else here has written......they are no help. If I dont return them through the place i bought them, they cant be returned....right here on Long Island. I could drive them over. 4 years later, im supposed to have reciepts, or remember where i bought them! Terrible customer service. So I'm forced to report to warning others to buy a better product with true returns. read more

They don't support their products. I have a thousand dollars 4 year old setup that I can't fry parts for anymore. Basically the whole thing will have to be replaced. Imagine not being able to get parts for an 4 year old fridge or stove ? Would never recommend buying from this company. read more

After a good bit of research on LED light fixtures, and looking at different brands, I finally settled on WAC Lighting's under cabinet LED light fixtures for two different projects in my home: (1) Providing under cabinet lighting for a work counter in my garage; and (2) Replacing existing Halogen under cabinet light fixtures in my kitchen. Not all LED light fixtures are created equal and some of the bargain brands seem to lose their intensity over time fairly quickly. I checked with my man Frank who runs the Lamp & Lighting Gallery in Fairfax at Fairfax Circle. Frank has been in the lighting business a very long time and he knows his lighting. Frank had the WAC Lighting LED fixtures on display and in an easy to see display location. After checking them out, I ordered a total of 7 WAC Lighting under cabinet LED light fixtures from Frank: three in the brushed nickel finish for my garage, and four more in a white finish for my kitchen. The existing Halogen light fixtures in my kitchen would get so hot they would heat up the inside of my spice cabinet. I really thought one day the cabinet just might catch fire - it got that hot. After having the replacement LED fixtures installed, they are still cool to the touch, even after being on for many hours. Keeps the kitchen cooler in the summer time, and the fixtures consume a fraction of the energy the Halogen fixtures consumed. The color of the light is whiter/colder than the Halogen light fixtures, but that is fine with me. The energy cost savings and the safety issues make me very happy with them! read more

I purchased 6 outdoor up/down wall lights for my terrace. The lights themselves were very nice and seemed well built. Once installed I tried to program them and thats where the issue began. I called customer service and I was given a 16 page booklet on how to set up the lights. So far I have been at it for 2 hours and I still can't figure it out. The software is awful and very difficult to manage. I also have Phillips Hue lights and they were super easy to program and took less than 10 minutes to set up. Unless WAC can make the programming user friendly i wouldn't waste your time or money on the lights. read more

We were sent a defective light. It was necessary to trim the cables as they give you lengths of several feet longer than reasonable for the size. You void the warranty if you do this, but you can't install the light without doing this. Company is trash. Buy elsewhere. read more

I purchased WAC Lights from a NYC retailer that failed while still under warranty. At the instruction of WAC, I contacted the retailer in Sept 2020. The retailer went out of business in Dec. 2020 due to Covid, at which time the lights had neither been repaired or replaced. Before they closed, the retailer had me re-engage with WAC. They have not done anything to this point. As of Dec 8, 2020, I was told "The sales team is in contact with the rep about this, as soon as we have more info someone will contact you, as of right now there is no ETA.". It is almost a month since then. This company doesn't stand behind their products nor honor their warranties. read more

I purchased 9 Glo LED lights. After 3 years, only 5 work. I have to replace them all--After multiple calls with customer support, they then said they couldn't do anything and referred me back to the distributor. Total waste of time and money. read more

I have purchased over $20,000 worth of light fixtures from WAC for my showroom in Florida, I must say the product is great looking however 3 years down the road 2 the light fixture stopped working I have called since then and exchanged so many emails with WAC lighting in effort for them to replace the two pieces that are under 5 year warranty....................... after months of phone calls and email I just gave up . My recommendation to you: do not do business with this company WAC they do not stand behind their product. read more

I have bought several different types of lights from WAC and they have universally failed. Try getting customer support and what you will get is the run around. Their retailers will direct you back to WAC for assistance and then the fun begins. They don't stand behind any of their products and wear you down with efforts at repair. read more

Transformer blew . . . 2x Got the WAC Rail system several years ago. The transformer blew in the first year and was replaced by the vendor in Austin. It then blew again and vendor said, "Sorry, out of warranty". I escalated to WAC. They had extended the warranty to 5 years, but could not get the vendor to agree. I threw out the WAC system and got another. No point working with people that are unable or won't help you. read more
