They are so patient and tell me all about my options and then their thoughts. They're always patient and reassuring. Kavita and Michael always calm me down.. I also have renters and life insurance. I have never called a call center. On the very rare occasion that they don't answer I will almost instantly get a text, often from Wade himself letting me know they're in a meeting. My girlfriend who is a single mother on limited income got called into Wade's office to "review" her insurance today. She currently has auto, rental and term life insurance with Wade. Wade went through her personal assets and income with her. She has a 16yr old son. Rents an apartment and at the end of the month has less than $400 income to use for various expenditures like clothing or car expenses or even a 401K. Wade worked hard to get her to apply for whole life insurance and drop her term insurance. Here is a lady that works from check to check and Wade wanted her to commit to a four hundred dollar payment for 20yrs. I thought Wade was doing the used car salesman routine with her and basically trying to sell her insurance she really can't afford nor, need. read more

Yelp friends, isn't the true test of any business what happens and how they treat you when you have a problem and have to utilize their services (in this case, to submit an insurance claim)? Hint: the answer is yes. Camas and Vancouver had just been clobbered with the snowstorm the night before. I, feeling completely impervious to the treacherous road conditions because I had brand new snow tires, headed out on 192nd and through the green light at 34th. Unfortunately, the driver pulling up to the intersection at 34th and 192nd was not so well-equipped. I watched in horror as his BMW slid across the lane and into the passenger door of my vehicle. We quickly exchanged information, and as I continued my drive down 192nd towards 20th Ave, I had a thought to pull into the parking lot of Wade's office. Wade had a staff member in the office, who worked with me and the State Farm claims folks to quickly get my claim submitted. I left less than 20 minutes later knowing that I had been and would be taken care of. THAT is precisely why I choose Wade Au. I have been a client of Wade Au's office for almost 10 years, and State Farm for 22 (my husband for even longer than that!), and wanted to express my high level of satisfaction with the service provided by State Farm and Mr. Au's office. I was in a car accident with my 3-year-old son the first week of January. We were hit by someone who ran a red light. Fortunately, both of us were just fine, and my car, while damaged, was not totaled out. Both the State Farm claims line and my agent were extremely helpful in streamlining the process. My car was towed to my body shop of choice and State Farm was direct-billed. I received a rental car the very next day that met the needs of myself and my family. Both Mr. Au's office and the claims office contacted me personally to make sure I was okay and that the process was moving efficiently. The claims adjuster looked over my car in less than 36 hours and I will finally be able to pick it up from the body shop tomorrow as scheduled. The phone claims department took care of filing a claim on my behalf with the other driver's insurance company for my deductible and rental car costs, and I have already been reimbursed for the deductible. The rental car costs will be paid directly by the other insurance company. No out of pocket costs for me!! From the agent to the claims partners, I couldn't have had a better experience (considering it was a car accident after all).
