No parts stores carry this part - at least not any more. Now add in that it's Sunday on a holiday weekend. Plassmeyer was recommended to us through a facebook, "seeking recommendations" post. We called and they were closed - but you could leave a message. We left a message, but didn't expect anything to come of it. Well, we were wrong!! We got a call back within 60-90 minutes and Shawn had the part and was willing to let us come get it on a day they were closed!! We couldn't beat the price! My husband even tried to pay him more money just for allowing us to come get it - and he refused! I then found out i had a $1000 deducible on my insurance. I told them to hold up because I didn't have the $1000. They repeatedly told me not to worry about the deducible. On at least 4 to 6 occasions. They assured me they would get the money from my insurance. After they replaced the hood, the dash and several other parts that didn't need replaced, they billed my insurance $6,702 they still want an additional $1000 from me. the only thing I approved was for them to replace the windshield. Needless to say my finance company has now reclaimed the car. I have since had my insurance company and the PA State Atty Generals consumers dept start an investigation.
