We went to see "Josiah" At the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster Pennsylvania. It was a 2 day trip package including bus transportation, dinner and breakfast, a stop for shopping and premium seating at the theater. Our Host was Cathy and the driver was George. We had about 40 people on the bus and all were extremely friendly. The bus made a 20 minute stop on the way down & back so we could stretch our legs and get a snack. Dinner was at Plain and Fancy, an Amish style restaurant where we ate as much as we wanted. We stayed at AmishView Inn & Suites, clean and great staff with a fantastic buffet breakfast. This is all included in the trip costs. The next morning we stopped at an Amish Bakery where I picked up some fantastic Cinnamon Buns to take home. Then we went to the Theater to see the show. I have to say it was the most impressive show I've ever seen, including Broadway shows. Throughout the trip, Cathy kept us informed about everything, giving us tips on what to look for. Throughout the trip, George our driver would have my walker ready as soon as I stepped off the bus. Worst trip ever. Boarded at 615AM for a 140PM game at Citi Field. Had to sit on bus for 21/2 hours in the parking lot before time to be let in. Because of the ungodly early boarding time we spent the night before in a motel close to bus station, total waste of money. We could have left at 930AM and still had time. When I called to complain all I got was excuses,not even an apology. Will never deal with Wade Tours again. read more

This is a horrible travel company. Was taking a school trip for 3 days to Pennsylvania and our bus broke down 3 different times on the trip. We had to squeeze 100 people from our bus onto the other two (defiantly illegal). Wade Tours - Too many people - Tours Near Me - Schenectady, New York

A Wade Tours bus nearly ran my car off the highway. Could have been real serious at 75 mph. Careless drivers mean unsafe passengers.

Horrible company. My school used three buses from Wade for a 4 day trip and one of the buses broke down three times during the trip, forcing us to cram everyone onto two buses (people were standing and sitting in the aisles) and move our luggage over to the other buses on the side of a busy and dangerous interstate. Other companies may be more expensive but with Wade you get what you pay for. On a positive note I did get more time to bond with my friends but this was at the expense of my sanity as I spent a total of 4 hours stuck on the side of highways. read more

This was the absolute worst charter bus experience I have ever had. I would like to give a quick shoutout to the drive Ezekiel, he is the best bust driver we have ever had, he and he alone deserves 5 stars. Back to the busses, our guy Ezekiel kept ours nice and clean and in tip top shape (especially the bathroom) I cannot however say the same for the other 2 busses in our convoy. Bus number 3 especially seemed to have a tendency to break down on the side of the highway, leading to 50 student and luggage/instruments (music trip) to need to be evacuated on the side of the highway and board a new bus. This was accomplished by squeezing way too many people onto one bus, with 3 people in 2 seats and some people sitting on the ground. This trip was not cheap, and we expected better. read more

We had a two hour delay on the first day of our Hershey park trip the second day our bus broke down a a second time and we waited about another hour and a half to two hours today we broke down on the side of the freeway for about an hour and a half. So in conclusion I wouldn't recommend wade tours to any school or group looking to actually get to and from there destination in the scheduled time. The only good thing about this trip with wade tours was our driver Larry he did the most he could to help us at every moment so if u do choose to travel with wade tours at least ask for Larry very friendly and welcoming attitude always no matter how many times our third bud broke down. read more

Diamond Tours hired this bus company to bring us from Newark, NJ to Niagara Fall, Canada. This is not the kind of bus you want to use for a 6 1/2 hour trip. Went on a bus ride to Montreal, Canada those seats were so plush. Jim the bus driver was very friendly and knowledge of touring throughout Canada. Unfortunately Jim had to leave us in Albany, NY where we had to get another bus driver. I'll call him Mister. Mister did not even introduce himself to us, just sat in the seat and drove the rest of the distance to Newark, NJ. When Mister finally pulled into our destination he wouldn't even turn on the interior lights so we could gather our belongs. smdh. This is a local casino bus, not for long destinations. Terrible company, if you have the ability to read this review and choose a different charter bus company, you should do that. They were an hour late for initial pickup, and chronically late through our 4 day stay in Boston. The day of departure, the bus breaks down and they tell us they're sending another bus to pick us up, adding on 3 extra hours. The bus gets here, but instead of letting us board an departing, more hours were devoted to seeing if the new bus driver could fix the BROKEN bus and we're stuck waiting for hours and hours with dozens of other people in the hotel lobby because we've already checked out. Seriously? Talk about customer service. Oh, by the way, if they're late or delayed, and you call them to see what's wrong, you're not getting a response back. You're just gonna have to wait and pray that they're not *too* late (which they will be). If you use this company, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Bus driver (at least the one we got that subbed after stopping at Albany) was nice though, but that doesn't negate all the negative stuff about them. read more

Used them for our wedding on September 21st and they were great. Had two buses pick up our guests that were staying at two different hotels, and arrived the venue on time. The venue was not easy to get to ( in the middle of the woods) but everything went off perfectly. At night we had one bus come at 10:30, 11:30, and 12:30 to pick up guests, and each was right on time. For the last bus, the driver came up to us to make sure everyone who still needed to go was on the bus and there were no stragglers being left behind. Overall, would definitely hire again or recommend to anyone have a wedding in the area. read more

Horrible experience that ruined the end of my wedding. We had arranged for two buses to pick up guests, each half an hour apart. This was detailed in email communication between my mother and an employee at Wade tours, though Wade tours vehemently denies (I have screenshots). The day of the wedding, both my husband and I tried calling Wade tours to confirm details, but nobody picked up. At the end of the wedding, when my husband tried connecting to the emergency dispatcher to figure out where the second bus was, the dispatcher stated "Well I can see that the bus arrived, so I don't know what to tell you," (There was no second bus). The dispatcher gave hum a hard time about giving him the driver's phone number. Once my husband eventually got the number, the driver's voice mailbox was full, so there was no way to contact them. When my husband attempted calling the emergency dispatcher, they would not pick up the phone. My husband and most of the bridal party missed 90 minutes of our 2 hour after party. We had to pay an exorbitant fee on taxis and ubers to get everyone to the after party, as our venue was a good fifteen minute drive away from the after party, in a very remote area. By the time the bridal party arrived at the after party, I spoke with people who had taken the first bus (which turned out to be the only bus). One of my guests told me that the bus driver was incredibly rude, said "I'm leaving now and not waiting for anyone," and made everyone uncomfortable. I felt a great sense of shame and embarrassment for employing a company that would make my guests uncomfortable in any way. Wade tours has been notified of this incident and attempted to put the blame on us. They have not apologized, or made any effort to reimburse us. Note, we paid for two pick ups and two drop offs. If I could give zero stars, I would. All in all, if you are planning a wedding or large event, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, there is zero communication, internal organization, or efforts to preserve customer satisfaction. Wade has been great on the past few trips I've been on. The drivers are very safe and keep a good pace when driving and always knowledgeable about the busses. I cannot say enough about the guides we've had as well, they are so fun and they have so much information on the places we've gone. Diamond Tours hired this bus company for our trip to Niagra Falls. What should have take at least 6 1/2 hours ride leaving from Newark, NJ ended up taking 9 hours, with 3 30 minute rest stops and 60 minutes for lunch. This bus was very uncomfortable for that trip. Some seats did not stay in the reclining position. Garbage bag was not emptied daily (1 in the front and 1 in the back). I will say that Jim, our bus driver was fantastic all throughout the ride and touring Niagra Falls. Jim had to leave us in Albany, reason unknown to us. His replacement was not professional at all. He did not even introduce himself to us or even tell us that he would take us the rest of the way. When we reached our Newark destination, he would not even turn on the interior lights so we could gather our belongings. The next time I take a road trip, I will make sure that Wade Tour Bus is not the bus that will be taking us. read more

We hired wade tours to bring our amazing marching band to march the Washington DC parade on Independence Day. Please don't hire the this company, and if your driver is Debbie, please cancel. We hired three buses and one broke down and never arrived. They got a replacement (diff company) and we started our trip. Debbie ran a car off the road with her reckless driving and excessive braking. She even broke the gate at Arlington cemetery when she blasted through it then brakes so hard everything went flying front. One student got a huge bump on her head from the sudden stop. We were on a schedule to visit the monuments and with out notice she decided she was done and took our bus back to the hotel WHILE the other two buses continued their experience. Then the next day one of the two bus' caught fire and the kids were emergency evacuated and we scrambled to get the kids there. Gerome drove the other bus and he was just the nicest man. He deserves five star. read more

I have taken a trip to the Bronx zoo and the Boston Aquarium this year. I would have never gotten there on my own, glad I took the bus. Best way to travel to these destinations... will be traveling again soon. read more
