Called and made an appointment for a weekend couples massage 4 days ahead. Found the last meter on the street for 2 hour parking which was really lucky. Otherwise, I have no idea where we would have parked! Sadly, when we arrived, the person at the front desk said that I called earlier that day to cancel. I definitely did not!!! That was the strangest thing to hear because I did not call to cancel the appointment. However they were accommodating and still got our couples massage in. The facilities themselves are not that amazing. It's just one hallway with beds all on the sides together, separated by curtains. You can also hear EVERYTHING, even the sirens and horns from the streets. The massage itself however was great. Got a Swedish massage that was wonderful, and she paid extra attention to my troubled spots which was great. I was also pleasantly surprised that halfway through the massage they used hot stones! I was not expecting that at all and it was absolutely wonderful. One of the best massages I've had in a long time. Worst massage of my life. Do not recommend. The place smelled awful. Massage therapist was obviously inexperienced. She was wearing a band aid on her pointer finger and it felt like sandpaper on my skin. Also very unsanitary. She had long fingernails that scratched my body. There was no Stretching involved. Just went for the first time this morning. I booked online the night before and they had to push the appointment back half an hour because of therapist availability, but the receptionist called in advance to be sure it was okay. She also wanted to be sure I would be okay with a male therapist, as the female therapist was sick, and that was fine with me. So my therapist was a very strong, cheerful man who made sure I was comfortable, e.g., asking if pressure was okay several times throughout, being sure the sheet was tucked in place and amply covering any body parts that should stay covered. I had to ask a couple of times for him to go softer, which he immediately did. Very therapeutic, and my sore muscles feel much better. As to other details, the place itself is really small, with massage beds separated by curtains. I was the only customer at the time I went, but I can imagine you'd be able to hear your fellow customers if anyone else was there. I got the 75-minute hot stone massage, which was nice, a bit hot at times, but next time I think I'd try the Swedish or foot reflexology. All in all, I'd definitely go back. read more

I've been a few times now, and I've always been able to get an appointment same day (not always for 90 min, but that's my own fault for not planning ahead). They squeezed me in super last min today ("can you be here in 10 min?"), and I'm so glad. My combination massage was EXCELLENT. The split was definitely more Thai than Swedish, but I don't mind that. I've been suffering from tension in my shoulders so a good massage had to happen. I've searched on Yelp and found this place not too far from me. I saw some mixed reviews, but I thought I'll see it for myself. First of all, Kimmy, my therapist was awesome. She really focused on my problem areas - my upper body,mainly my shoulders. I can't say I frequent spas for massages, but I've been to enough places where I felt like there was no point in telling the masseuse my problems. Many of them just did their routine and didn't pay more attention to the areas I specified. Kimmy was different. She really seemed to be determined to do something about that knot in my shoulders. God bless her. And thank goodness she didn't have dainty hands like some I've seen. She was really great overall. The place does lack sound proofing. You are only separated from other patrons with curtains. I personally didn't mind it too much with dimmed lights and loud enough music to mask all the whispering, but I can see how it can be irritating. The one thing I did not like was their business phone ringing and hearing the receptionist on the phone. I think she even had the cordless phone in the massage area. I've been to this place once and I'm disappointed. I have a feeling if you like the deep tissue style of massage then this is your joint. I made a appointment for a swedish massage. What I got start out as swedish but turned into a combination massage. Which is fine, I've had a swedish/thai combination massage before and found them quite relaxing but this wasn't a good one. The pressure was fine at first but as it went on the pressure got harder. I asked the masseuse to ease up and they did temporarily but then it went back to hard. I'm also not a fan of the use of elbows and forearms in a massage, and there was just too much of it. Overall I'm not too thrilled with the experience and won't be coming back. I think the style they specialize in a style that isn't for me. Like I said if you like the deep tissue or emphasis on hard pressure massage then give it a try. Horrible massage, very unprofessional, i will not be going back here. We had a couples massage the two therapists kept talking throughout our massage, full blown conversations in another language. I intentionally left my underwear on and she pulled them down ... like further then they should've been to the point that it was uncomfortable. I was searching for somewhere to get a massage near me. It's been particularly difficult due to Covid. I was able to find wadee spa and they were open during Covid. I had some back pain. When I came sunny was my therapist and her obvious experience she was able to find the areas that were bothering my and really worked on them. I have had tons of massages from many different spas but this was probably top 1 or 2 experiences she really addressed those painful areas and I haven't felt this good in a long time. It's been a week now since I came in for treatment and I still feel great. Solid massage spot on Fairfax. Mona at Wilshire Massage is still my #1 but I needed a massage at a later hour so I came here. Really I'd give this place a 3.5 but I'll probably return here. Came in with a friend on Friday night. I got a Swedish and he got a deep tissue. They used hot stones on both of us with no extra charge and there was also an aromatherapy element added, so that was nice. My only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is that my friend and I both specified specific body parts that we wanted the masseuse to focus on, and they didn't necessarily focus on those spots. With that being said, though, we both got solid full body massages so we can't complain too much. I'll be sure to let the masseuse know directly next time when I want him/her to focus on a specific area. Each massage table is cordoned off with curtains, so I wish they offered a little more privacy but it was good enough. read more

Came here for prenatal massage after experiencing sciatica pain and was blessed to be treated by Sam. If you're a weakling, this particular massage won't be for you. He worked firmly on my problematic areas and it was heaven. I'm admittedly a fan of deep deep tissue massages and getting knots out, and this was perfect version of that. Keep in mind the joint is no frills -- it's one large room with curtains between "rooms" -- but I personally don't need to pay more for fancy room. Your eyes are closed anyway! I am feeling such much needed pain relief today from my massage with Nadia I had to write a review. I work with patients in a rehabilitation center and my lower back and hips have been becoming painful from work and haven't had time for self-care. I was able to book a same day appointment for a herbal massage bc I have also been feeling stressed. Upon arrival I filled out a form identifying areas to concentrate on and areas to avoid. Nadia made me feel very comfortable and communicated throughout the massage for pressure and really worked on my hips thoroughly with good pressure and opened them up without any discomfort. The herbal ball was a very nice addition to the massage and has a relaxing smell and kept warm/hot throughout the session and can be reused up to 5 times. After my massage I felt as though I had taken a muscle relaxer and after dinner went to bed for a great nights sleep Which I haven't had in weeks!! This morning I woke up with some slight soreness but no more severe pain and am able to enjoy moving around without the constant ache. I will definitely go back for monthly maintenance care and request Nadia. I booked combination massage for my daughter and reflexology for myself on 6/10. My daughter received what I had booked her for however my lady was totally confused as to what reflexology is. I'm sure it's a language barrier and I'm ok with that, but do not leave someone at work who cannot communicate with customers. Please have an english,speaking person on site! I tried to explain i wanted reflexology for several minutes and finally went out to lobby to show her on menu board "foot reflexology" she repeatedly said, no english, so i finally got dressed and gave up. Went to lobby to wait for my daughter. After 15 minutes, manager calls me and says she has explained reflexology to her and she can do it. I explained my daughter and i came together so we could be done together and now it was too late. She pressed me to take 30 minutes reflexology. I have lived in LA for 5 and a 1/2 years and have tried many different affordable massage places. This one is, hands down, the best. I just had an amazing 2 hour massage by Ann. I asked for Swedish at medium pressure and she gave me exactly that plus some hot stone massage that knocked my socks off. Ok, I wasn't wearing socks but you get the picture. Since I was a first time customer, they gave me a discount. So, I paid 80 dollars. The regular fee is 95 dollars and I'm going back in 2 weeks and will happily pay that! I went here on a saturday afternoon for my birthday. I made the appointment a week in advance just to ensure my time and I am glad I did. It was quite busy which I expected. I got the hot stone massage mixed with sweedish and a little deep tissue. I really enjoyed it...the hot stones omg, changed my life ....soooo good. And during the deep tissue, I really appreciated the fact that she kept asking me was the pressure okay ...I like it really hard because it gets the knots out but I thought it was nice that she kept making sure I was okay before diving in with those elbows... I was excited to try this place. Had heard good things. I don't have a problem when people don't speak English as long as there's someone there to translate. The people who gave me my intake paperwork which indicated any issues I may have didn't speak any English so I doubt they can read it. The massage was ok. I'm so happy I found this place so close to my work. I needed a massage last Friday so I called to make an appointment and they took me in 30 mins later. There's plenty of parking behind the building. I usually prefer female therapists, but they had only male therapist available at that time. Yes, you get a great value at Wadee. But it doesn't really feel like a spa, which didn't work for me as I'm not great at relaxing. The waiting room was a little hap-hazard. The front desk looked a little messy and there was half eaten food sitting on the coffee table. I haven't gone to a lot of spas but I can't imagine this at any other place I've been to. And then the rooms are only separated by curtains - which I knew going in and wasn't so bad, but the girl giving my massage, I don't know her name, left a few times to go talk to people outside, which I could hear and see their cell phones glowing. I thought that was unprofessional. But I have to hand it to her, I have a lot of knots in my back and she really worked to get them out. But unfortunately with the environment the way it was I never totally relaxed. I was glad I went, as I've been curious about Wadee because of their great prices, but I probably won't be back. This place is pretty good! I really needed a massage since my back is full of knots. I called in on a Thursday night around 7pm, but they said they were booked already and I had to reschedule. So I scheduled for a Monday around the same time. Parking is no problem. You can park at 99 Cents Store on Wilshire an walk over. Got there early and they started me off already. Signed some papers and whatnot, then got lead to a room to use the restroom and a bed. They asked me to strip down everything except my undies. When I was done, a lady masseuses walked in and started to work on my back. She added some oil so it was smooth. Super relaxing. She found some of my knots and started to really work on those. Oh forgot, this was the Swedish massage with oil. After my back, she did my neck and my legs. I turn turned around and she did my leg and shoulders some more. 60 minutes passed.. so fast! But yeah, then changed and went outside to pay. First timers get charged only $39/hr with tips minimum of $10 going up to $20. I forgot what the regular price was but if you go 10 times, you get one massage for free. If you pay CASH before 1pm on weekdays, it's $39/hr as well. If you buy the promotion of 5 hours for $200 in CASH, it comes out to be around the same price. I mean there's a lot of discounts at this place and the massage is pretty good. I've been to a better one in Hollywood, but that one was a lot more expensive. I think this place is absolutely do-able for a normal pay girl like me. Enjoy! read more

I live two blocks from here and I always walk by, and as (un)luck would have it my back was acting up, so I walked up around 2pm on a weekday and booked a one hour massage. The only masseuse available was male, which is fine with me because I was in pain and all I cared about was fixing what ails me. The gentleman who massaged me had pretty good skills and took direction well when I told him which part of my back was in pain. After an hour, I left feeling much better and everyone here was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't say I was blown away by the service here, but it was definitely worth a return given how close it is to my house.
