The thing is, several of the employees have been working at this location through the changes in banking firms since 2006. The employees, old and new, are communicative, friendly, and efficient. We are blessed to have them here in Waldport and the surrounding area. I actually enjoy my visits to the bank and the conversations I have with those who work there. Last year one of our bank accounts (we have six checking and one savings account) was hacked for several thousand dollars; the staff at 1st Security was very understanding, helpful, and proactive in uncovering the fraud and getting our money returned to our account. Walgreens down the street sent me here when they couldn't get it for me. I walked in and Emmi, a personal banker at this branch, greeted me and asked how she could help then told me I could stand in line while she figured out where I should stand. She came to the line and pulled me aside very professionally and asked if I was a member. I said I wasn't. She apologized and said that apparently they could only do them for members. I explained I was frustrated and that Walgreens had just sent me over. She asked if I had a minute then called another store in town for me to see if they could help me. She confirmed the details then have me perfect directions to the store. They indeed were able to help me. I am a credit union member not a bank lover. But this experience alone impressed me greatly. The customer service and care with which she handled my situation was awesome others could take lessons from Emmi. I hope US Bank realizes the asset they have in her.
