Peach sorbet and dulce de leche
    Benedict A.

We were walking around when we came upon this place and I was in the mood for some dessert. They have several flavors of gelato here. I went with the peach sorbet as well as the dulce de leche. Came out to a little under $10. She gave me a food amount of ice cream. The peach sorbet was really good!! Light and refreshing. Hint of peach without being overly sweet or fake tasting. It was really well made. I really enjoyed the consistency. The dulce de leche was also really good. I really enjoyed the flavors. And it too was light but creamy and amazing. The 2 flavors really worked well together. The person working here is really cool. Great customer service. My only complaint about this place is they only had about 9 flavors, which is not that many to choose from.

This place is inside of a container part that is on the east side of Fremont Street. Fremont St., East. It's a cool little park that has all kinds of businesses in it and it's a great place to stop and rest and get some food or snack and some souvenirs. I'm glad that we found it and I definitely enjoyed my dessert. The waffle was made fresh right there in front of me. Next time you're in Vegas, make sure to get by this place !!

The soft, warm waffle is a nice change from the usual hard cones. I got an Elvis, which is vanilla ice cream with bananas and a Nutella sauce. The ice cream was good quality. Overall a tasty and novel treat.

We were in Vegas and it was a SUPER hot day, nearing almost 113! I wanted to treat my daughter to ice cream and I found this cute spot in the container place. The pricing is fair since it's off the strip. The waffles were delish! The gal working was very friendly and welcoming. In fact, I thought she might be the owner since she was so attentive. The only complaint was there wasn't a place to sit inside to eat and with it being so hot outside we had to go back to our car to eat it in the a/c so it wouldn't melt! Overall, we really enjoyed our treat and it was great for the hot day!

Strolled in past the fiery praying mantis and had to show ID to grab a waffle cone. Security was very friendly. The lady working the counter was super patient and sweet and had many recommendations. She suggested the chocolate warm waffle and we picked 2 flavors and 2 toppings. Ice cream was rich and yummy. It's $12 but it's a big cone for one person. We walked from the Freemont Street experience and super easy to find. It's inside the container park lower level. Lots of places to sit and enjoy. Many of the shops are closed at night.

Waffelato is located inside the Container Park. I wanted to go to see the dancing praying mantis at the entrance! It was a bonus to get gelato ice cream as well. We got mint chocolate and rocky road. Both were so good and creamy, we loved it!

O-M-G this place was SO GOOD! My husband and I split and waffelato and it was amazing. The portions are huge and the waffle is just so light and fluffy, and paired with the ice cream it just melts away in your mouth. I'm not a huge waffle fan but I do know a good waffle when I have one and these are amazing. I'll definitely be visiting here again and trying more amazing flavors! I also love how you can add any toppings you want to your waffelato, which is what we did. We added Reese's pieces and cookie pieces, so yummy!!

I went in with my own cup and Sarah made a Hot Choco-lato with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was SO good! It's not too sweet, amazing consistency and the ice cream cools it down to a perfect drinking temperature. Sarah was kind and quick with service. 10/10 I come here on a regular basis and plan on continuing to do so. AND it's wheelchair accessible!! not all the shops at container park are so that's very nice too :)

Side view...I was giving them side-eye because they are closed when they said they would be open.

Don't plan on them being open. A couple of weeks ago, I went there with friends on a cold, snowy night, looking for some hot waffles and ice cream, and though we got there BEFORE the closing time on the sign, (and what is listed on Yelp), they were closed and no one was there. Three of us in two cars made a special trip there! I was trying to impress a couple business associates...AND I had called ahead earlier that afternoon to confirm the hours for that night. I called the number from their page and spoke to a man who claimed to be related to the owners, and he assured me that the food was "delicious", and that they would be open that night until 9. We got there at 8:30, as we planned, after dinner. No dice. What in the "Lazy Lima Beans" is this?!! (If you were a devotee of the Wayans Brothers' 90s variety show, In Living Color, you might get that reference.) This might sound peevish, and maybe even a little unfair. But it's not. If you say you are going to be open for service, and you have someone answering your phones, saying you're going to be open for service, then maybe BE OPEN for service when you say you will. This is fundamentally what customer service is about. I even indicated to the guy on the phone that it was a special evening for me and that it would be a small group of us. It doesn't matter how delicious your ice cream is if you aren't open when you tell the public you're going to be...even when they specifically ask, and you don't bother to leave a sign or note to explain (such as if there was an early out that day or a special occasion). Since this was a thrice-told fail--1) Yelp hours 2) Posted sign hours, and, 3) Call-you-on-the-phone-and-check-what-time-you-close-tonight-hours--and no note on the door to explain, I don't know that I will be back. I certainly will not make a special trip there again. That was a waste of time, and I wish I could go back and not do that. But, considering how delicious the guy on the phone told me their ice cream concoctions are, I may swing by and give them another chance IF I'm in the area. But if they are closed again when they say they'll be open, they're dead to me. That's not a threat. (I know, I am channeling Mafia Boss there. Well, it is Vegas, after all).

Chocolate mint ice cream w vanilla waffle..

First time & won't be the last time. I love how freshly the waffle was made. Not too heavy and so flavorful, you can taste the vanilla from the dough. Crispy, crunchy on the top and soft/ soggy from the melt ice cream on the bottom. Tastes like good cereal. Got double scoops, maybe next time single is better. It's so good either way. Only one girl working behind the counter on a Sunday afternoon at the container park, it was hidden by/ behind the elevator but can't miss the flag sign when you're on the second place looking down... overall, it's a bit pricey but good. Will return when going to downtown again.

There was only one person at the place as the cashier and maker of cones. They make the waffles fresh so I can only imagine how long the line can become. Luckily we were the first ones there after the employee came back from break. Both my hubby and son got the Celebration and I got the second item on the menu with the mint ice cream and oreo. All great. The regular size was definitely enough.

We had the Mars Attack in a waffle bowl with two scoops, the chocolate gelato and raspberry sorbet. The sorbet didn't really go well with the chocolate based toppings, but it was pretty good on its own. As a chocolate lover, this entire treat hit the spot, lots of chocolate on chocolate with a waffle cone, altogether so satisfying and delicious. The gelato and sorbet here are really good, the selection is not that extensive, but for a small space at the container park, there are plenty of colorful flavors to choose from. The service was wonderful as well. The worker was patient with us being indecisive at first, and was very friendly and efficient in taking our order and serving us.

Came to update my review because of the poor service my mom experienced about two weeks ago…read more We've been coming here for well over a year and liked it so much that we also spread the word to our friends and family. A few months ago there was a QR code sign-up (a sign next to the register and inside the door) promoting to link your credit card with DoorDash to earn Hui Lau Shan rewards when you paid either online or in-store with the credit card that you linked. The rewards program is to earn $5 for every $100 spent in-store or online when using the linked credit card. I included photos! My mom had recently earned a $5 credit and went to redeem the code in-store which it gives the option to (also included photos)! When she asked to redeem the rewards the person at the register apparently yelled at my mom, telling her that she was trying to scam them and not believing that she could have possibly spent $100 at their store... When she tried to explain and showed him the DoorDash link that is sent to her phone every time you make a purchase there, which keeps track of the money spent towards a reward, she was told off again. She said the employee made her feel belittled in front of the rest of the customers because he was being extremely loud and rude. She gave my brother a call to ask if she was asking incorrectly and we were so confused that she'd been treated this way that we told her to just leave and not buy anything. I say confusing because there's a worker there that usually fulfills our order and he's always been kind and literally knows what we look like because we go so often. This was an employee my mom hadn't ever seen and was just taken aback. It's pretty disappointing because we've recommended this place to so many people because we LOVE mango and we liked the service. For my older mom to be met with such a response is pretty silly, especially since the rewards program is $5 for every $100 spent. For added context, I gave them a call to speak to a manager and they, apparently, weren't in! I have a feeling they won't be in regardless of when I call. The employee who asked about the rewards also didn't know what I was referring to and I tried to explain but at this point it is moot. What were we trying to scam them of, exactly? A $5 reward we earned and wanted to redeem, because we linked our credit card through their promoted rewards program?? Additionally, what about my mom made this employee believe we couldn't possibly afford $100 worth of desserts over a 2-3 month period of time? To end this off, we're pretty miffed about the whole experience and we'll miss the gentleman who treated us kindly.

After so many years of coming to Suzuya. I must say, they are very consistent and by now I think I've tried every regular item and plenty of yummy seasonal items. We love the salads when we're avoiding sugary stuff & pair it with a straight forward Matcha. For the desserts/pastries, my family loves the strawberry cake for birthdays. Me, I don't like cake unless it's cheesecake & they have a variety. Personally I do love the Yuzu Panna Cotta (ya I prolly spelt that wrong). && the macaroons are super great, ima MAC kinda guy, so a variety of flavors is a W! For the vibe inside! I love the music not having lyrics, super chill jazzy upbeat. So it's easy to concentrate for conversations, reading and online work. It's always very clean, constant flow of customers, some apparel & grab n go items. The colors are a soft wood, white and green plants all around with some gold accents and a clean appearance of staff, with positive attitudes. If I wanting anything more from the biz, it would be a reward system & larger sized drinks. I know bigger drinks aren't necessarily good for us, so I get it :-/ haha. Either way, 10 out of 10 biz!
