My favorite dessert spot in Las Vegas! I've been luv-ing this place since high school It's so nostalgic and truly a Vegas staple. I love the old-school walk-up window, ordering from the menu on the wall--it just hits every time. Now it's a must-stop whenever I'm in town... I can't leave without it.

Amazing custard - especially the butterscotch. My issue is that for toppings they put way too much. The Caramel Praline Sundae was like 80% nuts and 20% custard. Another issue is that if you want one of the smaller sizes they don't allow you to add toppings at all. Kind of sucks that you have to choose between all or nothing but overall great custard.

A MUST every time we're in Vegas. Growing up here, we went often. As adults, we can better appreciate the fresh custard. Walk up window, no seating. CASHLESS, and now they give out stamp cards. The Western is the most popular FOR A REASON - GET IT. I think I ONLY ordered it for like 20 years. This trip, we had the Cherry Pie and The Western. You can also choose your own toppings, they have shakes, cones, and splits. If you'd like to pass on dairy, they have lemon and pineapple whips (they used to be able to mix these, and they also only sold them until a certain time - so just ask!) A Vegas Classic.

Shady spot that sells good custard! Don't be deceived from the outside but this place delivers some yummy treats. Recommend the western special and their smores. Both are delish. Can be on the sweet side but hey def an indulgent treat

my wife and I are true foodies!! so much do that we watch food shows like Someone feed Phil !! I a small part of the strip in Las Vegas there is a little house that was converted into a custard shop. Family in Wisconsin says that they have the best frozen custard?? Well sit back because there is a new sheriff in town . Luv it frozen custard. This place is so good that we traveled from San Diego to Las Vegas to try it . It's small just one person behind the window but the service was quick and efficient. So if you are ever in Vegas try and stop by !!

Sunday Maddy & I stopped by for something sweet. I remember coming on Friday nights when I was younger. This place has not changed. I had the fresh banana nut western cup. The western comes with chocolate, caramel and walnuts. Maddy got a shake with the fresh banana nut. The girl working the counter was very sweet and fast with our order. See my pics

This was my first time here. I had a butter pecan with hot fudge sundae. It was delicious! Service at the window was fast, friendly and efficient. The only issue I have is the business is in a sketchy area, so there are shady characters around. Otherwise, the custard is excellent.

I love custard and you can't find it everywhere. This place has been popular for many years and you can still expect a line even in winter. We had family in town this weekend and everyone wanted something sweet after dinner so this place came to mind. There are many flavors and if the one you want isn't being served the day you visit you can grab a frozen container that's available in a few different sizes. I always pick something different and the malt creme might be my new favorite. Very creamy with just the right amount of malt.

I've heard a lot of great things about this place. I finally got a chance to try them out and absolutely loved it. Amazing quality custard food, great service at their window, has an old school ambiance. I look forward to future visits.

The area may seem sketchy but it's fine. Kinda reminds me of old Vegas. It's a tiny place. You park, get out and order at the window. Get your frozen custard and enjoy.

10000% worth the hype, from a local. The custard isn't too sweet and that is the secret here! Just an overall fantastic custard spot.

We made a visit on the 1st day and arrived right when they opened at 11:30 AM. Parking is available but it is in a lot with other businesses. However, it was busy at the time. I was lucky to grab one of the last few spots. It was even busier by noon. There are seating both inside and a little patio on the side of the store. We sat inside because it was hot that day and they were blasting the A/C. Restroom is available but will need a key. We took a look at the menu beforehand so I ordered right away. It only took a few minutes for it to be ready. There is a little water station available near their counter. Despite having a lot of sweet options, we came here for the savory options. The spicy tuna salad avocado and avocado egg salad croffles were our orders. The tuna one was honestly not that spicy but definitely hits the savory craving. The egg one leans on the sweeter side. Both of these were really good and were a good balance of flavor profiles together. Highly recommend both! Sweet Mong is easily a store I'd come back to try other dishes.

The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor without being overly bitter, and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. I ordered a float and loved that they let you choose the ice cream flavor. The ube ice cream was a standout--it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice starchy, creamy texture that paired well with the matcha. Another plus was the pricing. Compared to many specialty matcha shops, the drinks felt reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for matcha lovers and anyone looking for a refreshing treat while in Vegas. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.

This plaza was very crowded and tough to find parking in given there is a Molly Tea a few stores down when we went on the day after EDC. We waited about 25 minutes in line to order and 10 minutes for our drinks during the afternoon and killed time by walking down to Molly Tea which had a similar line. We ordered the Matcha Yuzu Sparkler and Matcha Kuromitsu Kinako Cream. The cream is whipped and along with the brown sugar jelly makes it a much heavier and decadent drink than I was expecting, but was still good. The matcha here is safe for those new or unfamiliar with matcha, with a smooth grassy and lightly floral profile.

We ordered the Mango & Coconut with Sago, and wow... it was really good. Not overly sweet, which I appreciate because it lets the natural mango flavor shine. I honestly didn't want to share and ended up sipping it slowly just to make it last longer. One of those desserts you wish had unlimited refills. The mango pancake is an absolute must-order. The soft crepe wrapped around that light cream filling was perfectly balanced -- refreshing, creamy, and dangerously easy to finish in minutes. Service stood out too. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful when explaining menu options, which is always appreciated if it's your first visit. Bonus points for packaging -- everything came in a really nice hot-and-cold reusable bag that felt thoughtful and premium. Now...the only real downside: parking. The plaza can get crowded fast, so expect to circle a bit or plan ahead during peak hours. Overall, Hui Lau Shan delivers fresh, mango-forward desserts that feel lighter, modern, and incredibly satisfying. Come for the mango drinks, stay for the pancakes -- and maybe allow a few extra minutes to hunt for parking.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it.
