    The bacon
    Ryan R.

I'm no stranger to Waffle House but this particular location had the worst service and food I've had at any Waffle House. The bacon was burnt on one end but almost raw on the other. I have no idea how it was possible but it happened. Our waitress was nice but she realized the bacon was horribly cooked and just laughed. And to top it all off, I payed with cash and I received a $5 dollar bill that I'm not even sure if I can use. Wouldn't give us a different bill.

We celebrated my daughters 17th bday today with a great Atlanta tradition ....steak and eggs! yummy. Service was good and the place was clean. A very good experience and a celebrity pix to boot!

Like most diners, good food is a must but, the staff is what completes the experience. We've been frequent customers here for the past few years. Staff comes and goes as does with the good and the not so good. I'm thinking since I ordered a waffle made on a round iron , I would get a round waffle. Maybe they're thinking it's supposed to look Belgium. Maybe the breakfast place down the street knows how to fill the iron up without skimping. We shall see...

That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. With possible wedding guests staying on the grounds that was a red flag. The "restaurant" itself was giving food court. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. Food was cooked well for the most part. My risotto was definitely undercooked and when I notified the gentleman (manager?) he asked me if I wanted to keep the fish and just have the risotto redone. We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. I honestly started questioning my palate. But no, it was undercooked. I love an al dente pasta but like that pasta was hard and sticking to my teeth type undercooked. Grateful for my sealants. LOL The rest of our food was cooked very well. We ordered a bottle of wine. Received a cheaper wine that server opened at the table. She changed it out. We paid, left, no farewells from any staff. The whole experience was an experience. We did not choose Chateau as the wedding venue.

We enjoyed the Pearberry which was light and delicious, as well as the Japanese Old Fashioned which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. Although the price for bacon seemed hefty, it's almost a slab instead of slice of bacon. It's a solid portion and very thick and deliciously coated in a sticky sweet sauce that we enjoyed. We were having a great time and were in great spirits but it took a turn once we were seated for the dining portion of the experience.. I think our experience came from the person manning the meats, who in our opinion doesn't know proper temp checks. We ordered multiple filets, ribeyes, and a tomahawk at our table of 5 and every single one was under. We asked for medium and medium rare throughout our table, but they all arrived severely underdone. The tomahawk was the biggest disappointment, when you pay a hefty price, you expect better results.. but it was raw, because rare doesn't even really describe it. We are not the type to make a fuss, so we just ate our steaks and asked for sauce to make them palatable. The flavor was there but it was very subtle, it could used a bit more seasoning. We relied heavily on the sides and our prior experience at the bar to keep spirits up. The reason this review isn't worse is because regardless of our dining experience, our bar experience was superior and I'd go back strictly for that. I would try it again to see if the cook has gotten better but not for a while.

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the genuinely warm greeting from the staff and the inviting, vibrant atmosphere within. My server, in particular, delivered exceptional service, demonstrating remarkable attentiveness and professionalism throughout my entire meal. For my main course, I selected the pork chop special, which was expertly presented alongside a finely prepared potato salad and a crisp, refreshing side salad. The pork chop itself was cooked to an exquisite perfection, achieving an ideal tenderness and succulent flavor. A true highlight was the innovative accompaniment served with the dish. This unique sauce or relish offered a harmonious blend of tangy and fresh profiles, coupled with a delightful crisp texture, further elevated by perfectly rendered bacon bits that provided an ideal crunchy counterpoint and enhanced the overall culinary experience. My uncle is currently in the ICU at a nearby hospital, and my aunt has basically been running on fumes and hospital coffee. We convinced her to step away for a bit, get a real meal, and sit with family without the constant beeping of machines in the background. Close enough to feel comfortable, but just far enough to breathe. Enter LongHorn on a Saturday night, which apparently doubled as prom headquarters. The place was packed with teenagers in suits and dresses looking like they just discovered cologne for the first time. The wait was about 45 minutes, but honestly it worked in our favor. It gave us time to sit, talk, and let my aunt decompress a little. By the time our table was ready, she looked like a human again instead of someone running on pure adrenaline. Once seated, the food did not disappoint. The complimentary bread showed up warm and dangerous because you know you are about to ruin your appetite but you do it anyway. The fried onion starter disappeared faster than prom dates after curfew. We had a full spread of steak, shrimp, and chicken and everything hit exactly the way it needed to. No complaints, no notes, just solid, comforting food done right. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, which is a rare skill. Drinks stayed filled, food came out on point, and we never had to flag anyone down. The restaurant had a lively energy, but somehow it never felt overwhelming. For a couple of hours, we were able to laugh, eat well, and give my aunt a break from a really heavy situation. That alone makes this place worth five stars. The great food and service just sealed it. LongHorn delivered more than a meal tonight. It gave us a moment we really needed.

I called the restaurant shortly after and an employee confirmed they had found them and were holding them for me. I told them I would come in that day to pick them up. I was delayed and arrived the next day -- only to be told the sunglasses were now missing. No one, including the manager on duty, had any explanation for how they suddenly disappeared after being confirmed safe the day before. They offered zero accountability and basically shrugged it off. They said they would "look into it" and get back to me. That never happened. I followed up with a voicemail expecting at least basic professionalism and customer service from a national chain like LongHorn. Still nothing. No call back, no apology, no offer to make it right. It's painfully obvious that one of their employees helped themselves to my property and management simply doesn't care. For a place that charges premium prices for steak, you'd think they could manage basic honesty and responsibility for items left behind. Instead they've shown complete disregard for their customers. If you care about your personal property, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This location has lost all my trust and I will never be back. Consider this your warning.
