The interior design skillfully balanced comfort with a dynamic energy, enhanced by multiple strategically placed screens that contributed to the lively ambiance without being intrusive. My server, in particular, delivered exceptional service, demonstrating remarkable attentiveness and professionalism throughout my entire meal. For my main course, I selected the pork chop special, which was expertly presented alongside a finely prepared potato salad and a crisp, refreshing side salad. The pork chop itself was cooked to an exquisite perfection, achieving an ideal tenderness and succulent flavor. A true highlight was the innovative accompaniment served with the dish. This unique sauce or relish offered a harmonious blend of tangy and fresh profiles, coupled with a delightful crisp texture, further elevated by perfectly rendered bacon bits that provided an ideal crunchy counterpoint and enhanced the overall culinary experience. I still think this place is pretty darn good. Why not 5 stars? Well their fried and otherwise not that healthy food is so good that I never look at their salads. I want fries and onion rings, things with bacon and yeah those amazing chicken tenders. I think places should try harder to make crap unhealthy food so you are at least tempted by the salads. Ok, really it's just their beer selection is so limited. Give me 5 more craft taps and that additional star is there. read more

Cool joint, bar atmosphere is great, big tvs and local beers. The Mozzarella sticks are to die for! Brunswick Stew should be called soup. Not like at the Irish pubs we've been to and they should have chunks of beef not shredded beef and way too many lima beans. Ordered wings with hot and parmesan mixed but they came out with 2 different sauces. When asked they said they don't do that....funny how every wing joint does and even a staff member said they've don't it before. Do better. The homemade blue cheese was very mild. Do better. And one of the taps blew and the bartender said it blew last night...Do better. But our server Hailey was absolutely amazing!! read more

My husband and I visited recently on a "Day Date" and had the same incredible service and we loved sitting in the patio/covered porch area as well. My husband had their Mediterranean Salmon and I tried their Cola BBq sandwich. We got steamed broccoli and friend onion rings as our sides and shared so it was half healthy lol Their onion rings are so good and I had the Broccoli double steamed which seemed to make the flavoring used seep in and taste delicious!! read more

Jack's Public House is an upscale version of the "Dive Bar" Jack's. The food is really good. We had a little bit of a lot of food. The pimento cheese balls are amazing. Drinks are fantastic. Chicken wings were just ok, fried corn was just corn. Would have loved to see the fried corn battered. Dumpling soup was very good. Onion rings were on point. The service was good. I ordered a Greek turkey burger to go with no bun and I got a dry turkey burger with feta and no tzatziki sauce. Also, no silverware to eat the burger with. Bylan said since there was nothing wrong with the turkey burger itself. He could not refund my money. The turkey burger prepared the way it was supposed to be with the tzatziki sauce. The food and service is typically fantastic. Our last visit on 12/28/25 definitely wasn't the best visit. Our food took much longer than normal. My daughter ordered a kids cheeseburger and the size of the patty was pretty small and very overcooked. The woman who brought our food wasn't pleasant and pretty much just dropped the food in front of us. Our waitress, a different woman, was pleasant and personable. If this had been our first visit, we probably wouldn't return. Since we have been to this location upwards of 10-15 times, we will be back and just assume it was one bad visit. I'll give this location 4 stars because all the previous visits were fine. read more

Cute spot close to home. The Deviled eggs were everything! So yummy. Infact, everything fried here is exceptional. My Cheesesteak was really lacking in any flavor. It also didn't have Beer Cheese on it. It really just tasted like grease. Disappointed. The burgers had delicious ingredients but again, the meat itself had no flavor. It's almost like because they fry everything amazingly they don't add seasoning? I would go back but it is a bit over priced and I was charged a "service fee". No idea why. read more

Sports bar vibe. Stopped in for lunch with daughter. I had the half rack of ribs. The sauce was added after cooking, so I had to eat with a fork but that easy as they were very tender and tasty. We came to see Braselton after seeing a magazine article about all the bars and restaurants. We were hoping for a quaint downtown historic area but settled at Jacks despite mediocre reviews. We were not disappointed. We have eaten a lot of hamburgers- this is one of the best!!! We had the bourbon and cola with onion rings!!! Fantastic flavor. Cooked perfectly. Loved the grilled onions. We wrapped up a volunteer event nearby and this location was recommended. It is mostly an upscale bar, IMO. Huge space inside! Very large screen TV for the big game. Coveted outdoor area. Seating isn't very comfortable so be prepared. The food here is amazing. I had the Nashville Hot, which came with Nashville Hot on top of pimento Mac n cheese and a waffle. Perfect amount of hot, salty and sweet. Highly recommend! I washed it down with the Sycamore Super Fresh wheat ale, which meshed well together. It is darker in here but lots of room to spread out. Certainly recommend this place for brunch, hands down! Our server was awesome as well. read more

Nice bar and grill near Buford. After our sales meeting at my company's main office a few of us came here for lunch. Very nice facility. Great bar area with a lot of TVs. Since it was lunch we didn't have drinks, but the drink selection looked good. Great appetizers: definitely get the fried pimento cheese and deviled eggs. Very good. I had the Mediterranean Salmon as my main course and it was really good as well. Staff was great. I highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you are nearby. read more

I've been coming here now for almost year and really have seen a change from the Jeffries crowd vs the new. JPH people come for the food! Then the bar outside, which is always packed. Came last week with my daughter and again today and the service , the food is just really good pub food well thought out. From the smoked wings, Philly cheesesteak with authentic cheese house made , the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and Nashville hot sauce , all berry food. Kaila seems to be at the inside bar often and handles a lot of tables and bar with great finesse and hustle!! Kudos to great staff who deserve to be recognized! Food: Southern Duo appetizer: Good flavors, nice presentation, large portion, enough for 2 people. Food: Southern Cobb Salad: Large portion, fried chicken (very dense crust), much of the crust breaks away and becomes an unpleasant gravel in the bottom of the bowl. I'd probably avoid the fried in favor of grilled next time if possible. Pretty basic otherwise. Service: Friendly, efficient. Ambience: Sports bar. Issues: Shady practice: They handed me a check with one amount. Server ran my card, came back, the copy for me to sign showed that my total had been rounded up to the nearest ten. Basically, they stole six extra cents. I'm not sweating six cents, but that's crooked, and over a day that adds up to dollars. They also charged me 82 extra cents because I used a card to pay. I'm sure there will be some tiny line of text on the menu somewhere that says they do this, but I didn't see it, and nobody mentioned it. My friends, that is a cost of doing business. If you want to incentivize cash over cards, add a dollar to the menu prices and make it well know that cash customers get a discount. It may seem like six here, half dozen there - but I'm happier paying 16 bucks for an entree than I am paying 15 and then 82 cents to your bank. Since I can't haggle your policy, I reduce gratuity, and I don't feel bad about it. Just as you will stand on policy, I will also make it clear that your policy reduces your servers' income. read more
