Made reservations for 12:30. Didn't realize it was the restaurant in the spa. Service was terrible. Took 20 mins for drinks. I ordered the avacado toast and Cesar salad. The avacado roast was delish. The salad had no dressing that I could see or taste. Pretty sad that when I made the reservations they wanted my credit card to hold the reservations. We did not get out of there til 2:05. Probably will not be back. Pricey for small servings.

*Advertised as Mindful Cuisine. *Shared space with the Chateau Elan Spa. *Gourmet inspired breakfasts & lunch dishes focusing on healthy ingredients. We came here for a joint birthday (belated/upcoming) celebration & as a collective we were pleased with the overall experience. Our wait time to be seated was over 10 minutes as they were resetting for the next day. Theresa, was our server & made up for the delay with her contagious spirit & engagement which set the tone for a wonderful lunch experience. Amongst the three of us - our selections: Elder Daughter ordered the Brussels Sprouts Caesar & she really liked the pickled onions addition. Younger Daughter ordered the Pan Roasted Branzino, a seared Mediterranean Sea Bass. She enjoyed the fish itself yet didn't care for the different add-ins on top of the fish. They both shared the Mediterranean Grilled (Wild) Shrimp & liked the Sweet Onion Fennel Puree. I had the Roasted Butternut Squash Hummus & liked the presence of Nutmeg - I didn't care for the Pumpkin Seeds. & the Whole Wheat Pita Bread could have been baked/heated up a little longer, it was slightly flimsy. & The Pumpkin Cashew Alfredo Pasta (made out of spaghetti squash) was a delicious creation. They sipped on the Grand Mimosa with Peach Nectar & I delighted in their exclusive Red Blend "Velvet", a well balance of Sirah/Zinfandel with fruity/flowery notes. The menu also provides various pairing suggestions which makes sense as one of the winery's on-property restaurants. I received a complimentary Birthday Dessert of Sorbet & edible flowers (yes, I ate the flowers) which was a kind gesture from the kitchen. Good Vegan options & accommodations for dietary purposes. +Service: 5/5 - Teresa made my pre-Birthday celebration a true vibe. +Food: 4/5 - All dishes were good, some had too many ingredients in the mix. +Prices: 4/5 - Comparable for the resort setting & esthetics. +Atmosphere: 3/5 - Majority of the people were in robes, as the restaurant is adjacent to the Spa. +Reservations: Open Table & for all the restaurants / open daily 8:30A - 2:30P. +Dress Code: Come in your bathrobe. +Parking: 3/5 - Only a few spaces in front. There are stairs that lead you down from the main parking lot to the restaurant/spa. Shuttle is available upon request. +Overall: 4/5

Shaved brussel sprout salad with branzino, chicken cauliflower rice bowl

We made a lunch reservation here after a couples massage at the Chateau Elan spa for our anniversary and it was so perfect. Most guests are in their spa robes, service was great, and food was healthy and delicious. I loved their menu which was all light and nourishing. I really enjoyed the Brussel sprout salad with added branzino (it was much better than the cauliflower rice bowl, in case anyone is on the fence between those options). The bread bowl was also so, so good- I asked for extra! They also give every guest a cute chocolate as a complimentary dessert. I will definitely be back to try their other items.

Came here before getting a spa treatment. Our service was amazing! The waitress was outstanding, very attentive and gave great recommendations. I ordered the avocado toast which has the fluffiest egg white on top. You have to order this. It's light yet still filling. You need a reservation for most places at the resort but because we came at a time where they weren't busy, they were able to accommodate us. If you are getting a spa treatment you should treat yourself either before or after. Most people came in their robes after getting a treatment. Highly recommend this place!

My best friend and I had a spa day and decided to dine here. It's such a beautiful space looking out to the water and gazebo. The service was great and attentive. The bread basket was so unique and delicious. The beet rolls were yummy. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was amazing!! Everything just worked so well together. Hoping to come back soon!

Fleur de Lis provides a peaceful ambiance to visitors that couples as the perfect escape from the chaos of Atlanta. I have been twice now, and I am thoroughly impressed each time by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the food. Both are exquisite! As for the wine, I'm no wine connoisseur, however, my wine was quite tasty!

We came here for breakfast as part of our stay and the food was pretty good. You can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients. There is also complementary bread service. Staff are very nice and friendly. We sat by the window and had a great view. I would come back again the next time we stay at Chateau Elan. It is a good food option if you're visiting/staying at the resort.

I came here with my Mother and Sis for a Ladies' Day Out and to celebrate both of their birthdays. We came here before our wine tasting and ordered a variety of entrees plus red wine and Bellinis. It was a beautiful and delicious lunch before we explored Chateau Elan.

I could eat the shrimp and grits every day! This was such a nice break during our girls trip spa day. Definitely not a cheap meal - about $50 for 1 person, with a drink, but the food and service was good and we enjoyed ourselves.

Trying to keep this short because I was taught if you have nothing nice to say don't…read more Stopped by after an engagement coordinated with Chateau. Not mine. That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. With possible wedding guests staying on the grounds that was a red flag. The "restaurant" itself was giving food court. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. Food was cooked well for the most part. My risotto was definitely undercooked and when I notified the gentleman (manager?) he asked me if I wanted to keep the fish and just have the risotto redone. We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. I honestly started questioning my palate. But no, it was undercooked. I love an al dente pasta but like that pasta was hard and sticking to my teeth type undercooked. Grateful for my sealants. LOL The rest of our food was cooked very well. We ordered a bottle of wine. Received a cheaper wine that server opened at the table. She changed it out. We paid, left, no farewells from any staff. The whole experience was an experience. We did not choose Chateau as the wedding venue.

AMBIANCE: 5/5 The views are exquisite, with chic mid-century modern decor, natural sunlight beaming down from the glass ceiling above, and just overall upscale feel of the entire property. SERVICE: 5/5 On this day, we were informed by the hostess that there would just be a buffet offered. We accepted and were promptly seated at a cozy booth. Our friendly and kind southern charm of awaitress brought us coffees and was attentive in making sure we were having a nice morning. FOOD: 3.5/5 The buffet items were visually appetizing, with an assortment of sweet and savory items. Constructively, I feel that the tastes were just average with most breakfast buffets around. It needed a little more oomph to be considered stellar. The mini croissants were flaky and tasty, along with the jams. This was probably my favorite item. The waffles were yummy, but I would've expected pure maple syrup instead of corn syrup artificial pancake syrup, at a place like this. Scrambled eggs were okay--I should've gone with a customizable omelette from the chef station. I feel like they were missing more dishes--it almost felt sparse despite the several stations. Still, over all, we enjoyed our tastings. Other than my somewhat harsh critique that I hope gets taken as helpful rather than hurtful, we really enjoyed our morning here. It was a special trip we won't forget. We hope to come back again soon!

Our server? A gem. First visit, a "million questions", and he answered every single one like he was hosting a Food Network show just for us. Drinks: "Ah yes... civilization." My husband's term for "yes, they do have beer! ". I ordered the Espresso Martini. They ask: creamy or dark? I chose dark because I like my martinis the way I like my humor. It was flawless. We skipped appetizers because we like to live dangerously. Seafood Pasta: This dish came with so much seafood I started checking for a Coast Guard warning. Mussels, clams, shrimp, lobster, basically an entire cast of Finding Nemo. Flavor was incredible. I just needed a few more noodles to keep the peace between carbs and protein. 1855 Prime Filet & Brussels Sprouts: Let's talk onions. Some restaurants give you three sad little onion scraps like they're being rationed. Marc said, "No, no take ALL the onions." Do you see the picture of the Brussel sprouts? We'll look at the top of the photo.... Under that glorious pile was a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. No photo because my husband attacked it like it was the last steak on Earth. Crème Brûlée: It was good. I'm not here to slander dessert. We respect crème brûlée in this household. Will we return? Absolutely. Just know this is a "go big or go home" date night. But trust me....it's worth going big.

This was a good thing because my husband got the lasagne. The smallest piece of dried out looking lasagne was placed in front of him. I could not eat all of my ravioli. They were handed off to hubby. When we asked for bread, we were told 'they had a party that afternoon and she would look and see if there was any left'!!! We should have left at that point and we were going to, when our appetizer came out before we could get up. We stayed. After the food was delivered we never saw our waitress again. It wasn't like she was slammed with other tables - there was us and one other table. The other waitress took that one. This was the week before Christmas. I really do need to listen to 'the voice in my head' when it's time to turnaround and leave. It's a shame this place really didn't cut it. It smelled so good, was pretty with the twinkling lights at the bar. They definitely need bread - as in, a bread basket for the table. 2. A much larger portion of lasagna, 3.
