Five stars for steak, sanity, and a much needed reset We found ourselves at LongHorn in Braselton under less than ideal circumstances. My uncle is currently in the ICU at a nearby hospital, and my aunt has basically been running on fumes and hospital coffee. We convinced her to step away for a bit, get a real meal, and sit with family without the constant beeping of machines in the background. Close enough to feel comfortable, but just far enough to breathe. Enter LongHorn on a Saturday night, which apparently doubled as prom headquarters. The place was packed with teenagers in suits and dresses looking like they just discovered cologne for the first time. The wait was about 45 minutes, but honestly it worked in our favor. It gave us time to sit, talk, and let my aunt decompress a little. By the time our table was ready, she looked like a human again instead of someone running on pure adrenaline. Once seated, the food did not disappoint. The complimentary bread showed up warm and dangerous because you know you are about to ruin your appetite but you do it anyway. The fried onion starter disappeared faster than prom dates after curfew. We had a full spread of steak, shrimp, and chicken and everything hit exactly the way it needed to. No complaints, no notes, just solid, comforting food done right. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, which is a rare skill. Drinks stayed filled, food came out on point, and we never had to flag anyone down. The restaurant had a lively energy, but somehow it never felt overwhelming. For a couple of hours, we were able to laugh, eat well, and give my aunt a break from a really heavy situation. That alone makes this place worth five stars. The great food and service just sealed it. LongHorn delivered more than a meal tonight. It gave us a moment we really needed. read more

On June 26th I had lunch at this LongHorn Steakhouse and accidentally left behind an expensive pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. I called the restaurant shortly after and an employee confirmed they had found them and were holding them for me. I told them I would come in that day to pick them up. I was delayed and arrived the next day -- only to be told the sunglasses were now missing. No one, including the manager on duty, had any explanation for how they suddenly disappeared after being confirmed safe the day before. They offered zero accountability and basically shrugged it off. They said they would "look into it" and get back to me. That never happened. I followed up with a voicemail expecting at least basic professionalism and customer service from a national chain like LongHorn. Still nothing. No call back, no apology, no offer to make it right. It's painfully obvious that one of their employees helped themselves to my property and management simply doesn't care. For a place that charges premium prices for steak, you'd think they could manage basic honesty and responsibility for items left behind. Instead they've shown complete disregard for their customers. If you care about your personal property, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This location has lost all my trust and I will never be back. Consider this your warning. read more

We went to longhorn steak house for our anniversary. Boy were we surprised having to send back a steak that supposed to be a filet but was really overcooked. They sent out a replacement that was fatty and not able to eat. The mash potatoes were inedible and had to go back also.We had a great waitress and at least that was good.look at picture and you decide. read more

Never thought I'd have to give a Longhorn Restaurant a bad review. We were just conversing with a local merchant who had heard the new Outback still wasn't doing well. We chose our old Longhorn standby, because this location has always been good. Host was hiccuping (not covering his mouth) or removing himself from the host station. Then, he obviously was also fighting a stuffy nose.. both gross & out loud. Our server was curt & in a hurry. We quickly realized it was because they were understaffed. IT was only 4 o'clock & dining room wasn't even full! Steak arrived, medium rare versus medium well. Server was short when picking it back up and minced words with me. Customers should not be told "Ma'am, I have dirty dishes in my hand"! A better choice would have been. "I'm so sorry. I've got my hands full, & I'll be right back to take care of you". Never received our shrimp add-on. 10 more minutes later -we were told it was sent back because it was burnt . 10 more minutes later- it was delivered- so we sent it back. After our steak wasn't done right and we didn't receive our shrimp ( in a timely manner or while we were waiting for our re-done steak).... we really weren't interested in eating there anymore. A brand new plate with steak and fresh shrimp should have been delivered to our table. Probably won't be back to this location- mainly because of the service. We could've dealt with the food, if our server wasn't so salty. read more

We called ahead bc we knew it would be packed, and yes it was! We decided on Longhorn by a bet the previous night, that WHEN Georgia Bulldawgs beat the Texas Longhorns, we were having Longhorns for Sunday dinner!! So here we are.. Like i mentioned before we called ahead for a reservation. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly and told to have a seat. Our seated wait wasn't even 10 mins then we received a text to head to the hostess stand. Once seated in our section, our waiter, Cyrus, came to take our drink order. He was such a sweetheart. We decided on 2 Moscow Mules and one glass of Cupcake white wine moscato. He said the bar was backed up but the drink service was fast, which means the bartender was doing her job.. He brought out bread immediately.. Our appetizer, The Stuffed Mushrooms, came out hot and fast. They were delicious. We ordered three entrees 1. Salmon and Rice with Sweet Potato and a Salad (she wasn't fond of her salad, she said it wasn't good and didn't like the texture of the lettuce) 2. Half Rack of Ribs with Salad (he didn't like the lettuce either and said the entire salad didn't mesh well together) and Sweet Potato and 3. Parmesan Crusted 6oz Sirloin (Med Well) & 6 Red Rock Shrimp with Asparagus and Sweet Potato. We waited maybe 10-12 mins for our food to arrive. It was fresh, hot and tasted great. Not a word was said during dinner lol. Our server was a delight and the entire experience was one for the books. Even with the heavy traffic and steady stream of patrons, the staff made every effort to remain calm and efficient. The restaurant is alway dark and dim but not so dark you can't read the menu, Not too hot or cold, actually just right, even with the door constantly opening and closing.. When my wife is over cooking dinner, they have been a dependable delicious help. We do order from here about once every two weeks & I can report we rarely have any issues. One thing I truly wanted to note them on is anytime we have an issue they are quick to make it right. Our family favorites are the salmon, artichoke dip & parm crusted chicken. We had a wonderful 30th anniversary dinner here. I had the 12 oz ribeye with loaded baked potato and salad. For dessert I had a delicious White Russian. Food was very good; however, one in our party ordered french fries side to go with their cheeseburger. A few minutes later Christine, our server, returned to the table, saying there was a problem with the fryer and we couldn't have french fries. It seems inexcusable to have something as important not be working. The substitute wasn't as acceptable as it needed to be. Sad not to have all equipment working. I wouldn't be surprised at a fast food restaurant but was disappointed as this was below what I felt was Longhorn standard. Service was adequate - not great as we felt ignored at times by Christine. Ambiance was ok - there were some loud interactions between servers that seemed out of place at a restaurant of Longhorn's caliber. I walked in excited long day at work and wanted to treat myself. The lady asked me how many? I replied it's just me. She immediately told me 15 mins. A White couple walked in. Waitress asked how many? They said two and was immediately seated. I was embarrassed and other customers around me were confused. I asked her how is that possible? . Her response was oh you can sit at tables and they wanted a table.(They never asked for anything only said two) My reply was why didn't you offer me a table if that's the case. I looked around the corner and it was room at the bar as well. I asked for a manager at this point. The manager walked out and not once ever looked at me or asked my side. The lady begin to lie immediately. So I politely said please tell the truth. She changed her entire story and admitted to lying in front of the Manager named "Andy" He told her to just sit him over there as if my experience wasn't worthy as a paying customer. I asked him why haven't you spoke to me or even looked at me if I'm the one that called you out here he turned around with the most devilish smirk on his face and asked how many I help you. Ordered a mid rare flos filet to go the other night along with my wife's food. Food comes out 25 minutes past my pickup time which totaled 1:10 minutes start to finish. I check the food and my filet is completely burnt to a crisp. The young man at the take out counter was very polite and eager to take it back and have it fixed. 20 minutes later a new one comes out. It looked bad too but at this point it was time to go, we'd been sitting in the parking lot for over an hour and a half. And I'm not about to eat something from a kitchen that's been told twice they messed up. No thanks. They forgot my sweet potato this time so I had to wait for that now too. I get home and everything we bought was inedible. I took one bite of steak and tossed it, the salad was wilted and so dry that even dressing wouldn't help it, the sweet potato looked like something they burned the day before. The only thing I ate was broccoli and bread. 1.5 hours in the car and $67 later I had to eat cereal for dinner. Just look at the pictures and decide for yourself. We are done with longhorns all together. This happens almost every time now and we're sick of paying $70 + for a meal that isn't fit to give a dog. read more

This is my favorite location. The service has always been excellent and the atmosphere is large and very clean. I usually get the 6oz sirloin with baked potato and side salad ( make sure to ask for the dressing on the side) and better value to ask for your wine in a long pour. read more

Covid precautions are being taken. We came in and were asked to please wait in our car or outside. Waited maybe 10 minutes then they texted us to let us know a table was ready. Our server was extremely kind and attentive towards us. They messed up on our order and didn't come out in time but she came and told us exactly what had happened before we even noticed it was taking long. I've been here three times now since they opened and I am surprised I have not written a review. This time was a to go order during the pandemic but when they first opened we waited a couple of weeks before coming and I was pleasantly surprised to get great service from a great staff our food perfectly prepared for a new location. I've read some of the other reviews were others appear less happy but This is my mother's favorite restaurant and we've been visiting the hospital in Braselton to take care of her and a big treat for her is to come here after the doctor visit where she can get a drink, a good steak, and whatever appetizer they have on special weather is it it is calamari or other special limited menu items they have seasonally. Each time I've been here the staff has been excellent we've been seated quickly and this trip we simply ordered sandwiches and fries to go - mom loves their shaved prime rib sandwich and salad or she orders a flo filet if it inside. Curbside pick up was quick and easy this last trip but pictures represent another visit where we came here to celebrate my father's life and toast to him with an excellent gray goose martini with blue cheese olives - his fav and mine too. I always tip at least 20% unless it's really bad but certainly in these 2020 days we've been tipping 30% or more ensuring the staff recognizes where they're doing good as again I was quite pleased with a new staff a new location offering quality food and service as if they've been there for years. Highly recommend. One tip I would have as we generally sit in the bar area or near the bar area which I always get great service so perhaps that's something to consider! Restaurant is seemingly busy anytime from early afternoon until end of business. Much of this can be attributed to a large retiree population in the area. For this reason, we generally order to go and have been quite pleased with the accuracy of our online orders and pickup times. Food has been consistently hot and delicious with 90% accuracy on items ordered. We appreciate the value this well known chain offers for a family to have a nice, somewhat elevated in person or to go dining experience in an area where there aren't many family sit down dining options....mostly fast food. read more

Hit or miss here, and you must be bug friendly. I'll attach a picture of the one we dined with. Sometimes we come here and though it's a chain, quality is pretty solid for the price. Service is generally good. Other times the food is inedible like tonight, and the best they can do is remove the food you didn't eat from the check. I'm going home having not eaten, but at least I didn't pay for the food that I couldn't eat? The steak was uncooked, and I like medium rare, but this had me nervous to eat it. It took 25 min before someone was around to ask to heat it more, so my family ate, but there was no longer time for me to. Food was cold. Service at bar was standard nothing special. Server more worried about cleaning than checking to see if food was ok after serving it. Did not advise the salad was an up charge but it came with 2 sides. Nothing worse than ordering something and after the fact the extra costs are there when you check out .Servers should advise if there is an up charge when ordering poor bartender service in my opinion the very bare minimum .It's so dark in the intentionally you can't see the menu. The restaurant was great when it first opened. Recently a man was in the woman's bathroom and my 89 year old sister about had a fit. We go to this restaurant very often but today the waitress didn't pay good attention to us. Long time longhorns fans however this was a very disappointing trip to longhorns. We ordered 2 salads and 2 meals for a togo order nothing complicated. Our salads had no dressing, and no I'm not eatting dry lettuce. Ordered the 9 chicken tender dinner, meal came with 7 tiny tenders and again no sauces when they were specially ordered. The firecracker chicken wraps we ordered again no dressing. Bottom line we we had no problem waiting for good food however I have zero Patience for waiting for missed food and dry lettuce which we paid for. read more

This place just opened and is already my favorite restaurant! Their NY Strip is by far the best in GA, tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly all 3 times I've had it. I've already eaten here 5 times and each time the food has been perfect and the GM Todd is incredibly friendly as he works his way through the dining room. Although they just opened it's obvious they went to great measures to put an exceptional team on the floor as we are 5 for 5 and here tonight for number 6! Thanks to Todd and his team for always knocking our experience out of the park!!! Went to lunch and really enjoyed it. Food good, service, and the owner even stopped by to talk with us. Went back to dinner tonight as a party of 8. Sat in the back corner booth. Service terrible. Sat in the booth for 15 minutes plus with no one coming by at all to check on us. We finally waited a waiter down. She took our orders. Drinks were slow. Appertizer didn't arrive until after salads arrived. One of us didn't get this beer because they were changing the keg. No offer of another type of beer, which would have been fine. Food arrived. Wrong order for two of us. Manager finally showed up and try to salving he situation. Checks arrived and were wrong. Manger gave us a discount trying to recover. We liked the food. Service is spotty. We are plugging for this place because we like nearby at Village at Deaton Creek and love having a Longhorn near us. Just need to get their act together. PS: they are not equipped by larger groups and have no meeting rooms and very limited space for a party even of 8. Yes, we will go back, but hope for a better experience next time. read more

I was at the bar waiting on my wife to arrive. I noticed immediately that there was entirely too many bar stools at the bar. The chairs were touching each other and difficult to get into. Before she arrived three large men sat to my left and were clearly already well on their way to having too much. They were served multiple times despite their loudness and rudeness to those around them. When my wife arrived I got up to let her have the only seat available. Again because of the lack of proper seating my wife had trouble getting on the barstool. I had to remove a seat to make room. The drunk guests next to me then began a cruel and unrelenting attack about her and her size. The bartender said NOTHING to protect either of us. The environment was intolerable. This is not the publicity that you want at a restaurant. I am ashamed for the management and staff who condoned this behavior by over serving guests and not intervening.
