Service was friendly, attentive, and quick with service. It wasn't that busy, so I food arrived quickly. Plenty of parking and seating. We ordered the chicken and waffles, chocolate chip waffles, grits, eggs and hasbrowns. Everything was hot, crispy, and tasted freshly made. You can't go wrong with the waffle perfectly buttery, soft with just the right crisp and the grits were on point, as usual. Great value!!!! Especially for the portion sizes. read more

Stopped in and had breakfast at Waffle House. Nothing special about waffle House if you've ever been there before order the All-Star breakfast meal and everything came out as expected. The music was loud and the staff was really enjoy working my waitress got my order to be within minutes of me sitting down. read more

The place was dirty when my family and I walked in and the smell was horrible. The server was super slow and didn't right down all the things she was supposed to, she also didn't start to tell the cook what our food was for 10 minutes and we were trying to tell her. The food my father got was almost raw and had a sh!t ton of oil on it. Overall the experience was horrible and I would not go for a very long time. read more

My reviews are full of waffle, and so is Waffle House. Match made in heaven, am I right. But if you walk like a duck and talk like a duck, then you should go to Waddle House instead. The good thing about this Waffle House is that they make wonderful food, in fact some of the best at any Waffle House in Texas. The bad thing about this Waffle House is that when they get busy, they lock the doors and promptly stop cooking, usually on Saturday or Sunday nights. We find that pretty annoying and unprofessional, but at least there are some others within driving distance to go to when that does happen. But still, one of the best Waffle Houses with some of the best chefs... absolutely spectacular Hash Browns all the way... especially with the onions, ham, chili. And their patty melt, and chicken patty melt - sensational. And don't get me started on that awesome sausage breakfast sandwich. It's awful when they close at unscheduled times... it becomes Awful House. But when they're open, I can't stop eating until I'm full. I guess at those times, it's the I'mfull House. read more

The inside was closed The girl saw me walking up and another family she saw me pull up first walk to the door first and she ignored me and went straight to the other people. It came off racist. Bc I'm brown and not black she didn't think my order mattered. Never been to a Waffle House this was some sad mess. She probably thinks I don't speak English either. (Disclaimer: the five stars is adjusted for what my expectations would be from a chain restaurant/diner.) This is the nicest Waffle House I've ever been to. The service was extraordinarily friendly and fast - since it's right by Hobby, it's perfect for a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. The restaurant and bathroom were clean, which is not always true for Waffle Houses, and the food was delicious! It's not exceptional, but for an affordable chain breakfast restaurant, it's pretty great. read more

I am so glad that there is one at this neck of the city. This one is located about half a block in (east direction) and can easily be seen from the freeway. Very cheap prices and more than fair variety of breakfast items. Always order the waffle, half the price of IHOP, not as best quality but you won't break your wallet. I must add that the cooks seem to always be in a hurry no matter how many people are in the diner so inadvertently they remove your waffle from the iron prematurely, at least on 3 different times on me so you must ask for your waffle "extra extra" crispy so you can get that light brown crunch. read more

I finally got to try the Waffle House! Well one try is good enough for me! My server was rude! I asked for help trying to pick something out and she just skipped over me and then comes back and says are you ready. The chicken sand which that I ordered was fair and there were not any options for-those that don't want hash browns. I won't be running back! read more

Amazing amazing amazing. The staff is what makes this Waffle House the best. Ms. Becky and the rest of that crew is top tier. Everybody from the gentleman who greet you to all the person who check you out are superb. The chef makes the best scramble eggs so I always get 4 with my Allstar breakfast. My wife and I come here damn near every Sunday and leave happy AF every time. They've become our extended family. read more

Can't give no stars not an option they have a young man taking names at door on his first week it not completely his fault but people are jumping the line hi is trying to keep track of stuff but waitresses are not helping much letting people that are waiting for food sit in an eating g area and not helping clean the tables I waited for about 45 minutes kept getting skipped so I left bad service can't even rate food read more

Waffle House- an old classic ! Have not been to one in years! The price was super affordable and the food was great. A basic burger, waffle , bisquuit and gravy and this hasbrown mixed with jalepnios and ham was hit for everyone in the family. Everyone wants to go back in the morning. The staff were friendly. Service was great. It was fun watching it be made! It could use a deep cleaning. It was not terrible but just a good deep cleaning. read more

I LOVE WAFFLE HOUSE. There, I said it and I'm proud of it. Damn, is that crack in my smothered and covered hash browns? If it is, keep it coming. But preferably at 3 am. Seriously. Crack I tell you. The burgers with the buttery buns? Yeah, that's cool, I didn't need my arteries free and clear anyway. Healthy hearts are grossly overrated. tl:dr Great, freshly made food. I'm a regular here. We ordered the Chocolate Pecan Waffle, extra crispy "peppered" hash browns, and a couple strips of bacon. All of them were fabulous and perfect. Great customer service! Came here on a busy Sunday...Mother's Day thinking it wouldn't be a wait..boy was I wrong! The hostess was great and we only waited maybe 20 mins which was not bad compared to anywhere else we could have went.Parking was ok but was starting to get challenging as the morning grew. I came here to eat with my family. I ordered smothered hash browns but the onions were not sautéed. There were big chucks of raw chopped onions on my plate with hash browns laid over them. My daughter ordered a chocolate chip waffle and instead of the chocolate chips being in the batter, they sprinkled chocolate chips on top of the waffle. We ordered orange juice and it was warm and unsweetened. I spent over $40 dollars here and the only thing I enjoyed was my cup of coffee. I won't be back read more

It's Waffle House, a true staple for breakfast food anytime of the day. Hopefully you don't come in expecting 5 star service & dining experience, but the food is usually on point. I always opt for the traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, hashbrown (smothered & covered of course) along with a waffle. Everyone I know gets toppings on their hashbrowns, so pick your choice and go for it. Don't be afraid to go all the way either, it's actually delicious! Waffles of course are on the menu too, so snag one of those. The coffee is always hot, drinks never go empty here. I like to sit at the counter, it gives me that old time feel. The seating is open, so you may find yourself waiting here depending on the time of day. It's cool to see the short order cooks right there putting the plates together. Again, do not come here with high expectations though. Waffle House is a low key, nonfancy breakfast food stop! read more

In October my mother and I stopped in for our usual ~ eggs, grits, toast, coffee, tea... We and members of our family have been eating at this location for upward of 20 years ~ always satisfied and all prepared perfect and hot. Several months ago we had this same experience ~ now the 2nd time. Very disappointing. We didn't even want to take a chance and order bacon as we usually do. It was almost burnt last time. The place was dirty and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days ~ filthy. Flies everywhere. The staff was just hanging out slacking off. My medium eggs were well done, the grits were solid and the waiter could not comprehend what we actually wanted to order. The last time I just wanted tea ~ a teabag with hot water and I got this elaborate hot cocoa with whipped cream?! I doubt we will be going there again any time soon ~ twice let down was enough for us, VERY unfortunately! read more

I liked this iteration more than Frank's, mainly because the corn meal retained less oil. Otherwise, the rest of the breakfast taste the same. The grits were underseasoned, but there were plenty of hot sauce options along with salt and pepper to dress them. My waitress told me that biscuits usually sell out by noon so I had toast instead.
