After my experience at this Waffle House location, I was shocked it got 2 stars. There needs to be a minus stars available because this Waffle House location is pathetic. When I walked in I noticed that there were at least 7 tables that needed to be cleared and there were 6 employees working. They were bickering and arguing with each other. Meanwhile, there were 5 customers waiting to be seated. The waitress finally cleaned the table and sat them. She went back behind the counter and ignored them. They promptly got up and left. I would have done the same, but my dad requested breakfast from Waffle House. It took them almost 8 minutes to take my order. The restaurant wasn't crowded so there was no excuse for slow service and dirty tables. I finally placed my order and I stood and waited. During my wait, the tables still were not cleared and the loud arguing persisted until I left. As I'm writing this review, I'm reading reviews from other patrons that had the same experience. Who ever owns/manages this Waffle House needs to address the deplorable and pitiful staff they have employed. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone who is looking for a place to eat.....to KEEP ON DRIVING. This place has despicable staff and lacks any ounce of professionalism. read more

Typical Waffle House, food that is not good yet the price point somewhat makes up for it. The coffee was great, the service slow, the food horrid. I am honestly not a fan of Waffle House, but my spouse is (for some odd reason). We visited, while away for a birthday party, so went as a group of three adults and two kids. By far the worst restaurant of our trip. We walked in a little after 6am on a Sunday morning. There was one customer and a lot of staff. Tables were not cleaned. We sat down and it was 5 minutes until our server came over. Then another 5 minutes for our beverages. Very slow and still only one other customer. My husband ordered a breakfast combo with a waffle. The waffle was so thin .. I didn't even know they could be that thin on a waffle iron. And he said it tasted bad. Maybe it was old batter. I ordered a melt sandwich and hashbrowns. The condition of the waffle station shows they have been busy busy...as does the full seats. We lucked out and came in just as a group was leaving. Our server was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Took the order fast and that's where the wheels of progress came to a abrupt halt. They are crowded and busy but I have a feeling our girl didn't put in the order right away. More than likely she went out for a smoke break. Or two. Worse experience ever! Do NOT visit this establishment should you travel through McComb Mississippi. After ordering the grits bowl, which had a nice pic on the menu, I received something with ice cold grits and 2 pieces of american cheese sitting atop and unbothered. I politely asked if it were possible to heat it a little more. Around 20 minutes later, some new patrons were given the same dish I ordered. Another 10 minutes went by. Finally, the server comes over and says, "something's wrong with the grits now. You want something else?" Since everyone with me was finished with their food, I said no. She passed me my bill with only my food taken off. No apology, no compensation. I finally had to ask her if she thought that was reasonable. Her answer and I quote, "I don't have the authority to compensate and the manager isn't here. You want me to take 10% off? I'm sorry you didn't get to eat." We won't be back. After reading some of the other reviews on this waffle house i knew it wasn't just me and my family that thought this place was awful. the air conditioning in here didn't work and i know that isn't the employees fault but it smelt like BO in there. Absolutely awful smelling. Above both of the grills they had grease build up dripping down onto the food. while the dishes were being washed an employee sprayed my little sister with water countless times. AND my mother found a bug in my 7 yo sisters drink. we got our food 30 minutes after ordering and it wasn't good. not to mention when we sat down the employee gave my mother a rag and told us to clean the bar off. we will not be back here, we have been to better and cleaner places. read more

This place is half full at 2:30 in the morning and it took less than 5 minutes to get my order. At $6.59 this is a better value than McDonald's and it tastes better. Waffle House claims to have served more hash browns than anyone else in the world and by the size of my portion, I believe them. Nobody goes to this place expecting a 5 star restaurant. It is what it is. A no frills place to get a decent bite to eat at a good price. Open 24 hours, even the McD's is closed right now. And more times than not at most Waffle Houses, especially in the middle of the nught, you will probably get yourself some entertainment. Got our drinks around 850 but it's was like watching the three stooges on display but you really don't want to see that when you waiting on your food. Was about average crowd today. My wife waffle was cold and over cooked my boy burger was good and my meal was an all star special. Walked in and sat down, one girl said it was going to be 20 minutes before they could serve food. That was perfectly fine with my party and I. When another girl took our order, it took twenty minutes before getting our drinks. Forgot one of our drinks. The cook had to tell the girl to give us our drinks. Then the cook told the girls to read out the orders, and though we were the first people in here our order wasn't the first order called. This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life.
