Usually love Waffle House, the one further down the road is amazing. Tried this one today instead, sat down and waited for about 15-20, nothing was said to us. No one greeted us or came to our table nothing. Terrible experience, worst Waffle House we've been to and that's saying a lot. read more

Waffle House is the house of broken dreams. It is the crucible of American culture as featured in Hollywoodian cinema. What is it that warrants this Waffle House one single star? Is it the dirty kitchen? The dirty toilet? The depressing decor? The tasteless cardboard-like waffles? The unhealthy, unholy menu as a whole? Or all of the above? This is Waffle House after all, what else could I reasonably expect but food desecration en masse? The one star given to this review should be handed to the polite staff for powering through the crowded joint with a shadow of a smile on their face, visible from time to time when looked at from the right angle. Drumroll, please... 5 star review of Waffle House I went to Waffle House at Thanksgiving. They were very responsible with COVID restrictions. You order online and then go in to pick up your food. We ate in the parking lot, like a car picnic. I ordered plain waffle, eggs, hash browns and bacon, my typical order. It was very good. The best part was the waffle, of couse! My parents got the same order, except without eggs. They were happy with their meals, too. Even though, we couldn't go into Waffle House, we had as much fun as we usually do. We dropped in during our 8 hour road trip. The timing was perfect because they were not busy. I ordered a biscuit with sausage gravy. My gravy was cold...not warm, cold. In all fairness the waitress took it back and got more gravy and heated it in a cast iron skillet and served me. read more

The bathroom here was VERY nice! After traveling for awhile and really needing to go, it was a pleasant surprise to find a nice bathroom at a Waffle House! The restaurant, however, was very dirty. The staff were extremely slow, even though we were the only people in there. I have no complaints about the food - it was good! My dad did say that his dish was very salty so it might be a good idea to tell your waiter to please go light on the salt! We had to wait about 20 minutes for one waffle because our waitress put it in the waffle iron, forgot about it, burned it and had to throw it out and then start over. It's a decent place to stop and get a bite to eat and go to the bathroom on a road trip...but if you can hold it, it might be worth waiting and going down the road a little ways for something better. read more

Absolutely horrible. Order was wrong so I corrected it prior to them cooking it then my daughter got half her breakfast and my husband got half of his. When asked was told we are waiting on the waffle and bacon when I could plainly see them both sitting there. She brought them over. Both were cold. I only ordered hashbrowns but did not get my food until my family was almost finished eating. My hashbrowns were cold as they had been sitting there for 5 minutes waiting because they did not realize that they were out of gravy until my food was done so they had to make the gravy my husband did not get any refill on his coffee and I did not get a refill on my coke either. Service was poor food was cold and awful. Would not recommend this establishment at all read more

Absolutely terrible. Look I get this is a Waffle House and not the pinnacle of fine dining; and I accept that, but even going in knowing this I was disappointed. I've been to numerous waffle houses in different states and this one is very easily the worst. I don't go to Waffle House for the cleanliness or the customer service or even the ambience. I go for the delicious truck stop style food. The food at this particular location was lacking severely. To start, the orange juice tasted like jalapeños..I'm not sure if they had it in the same container or what but it was disgusting! We asked for a fresh glass from a different machine and it was much better. My sister felt like eating light so she asked if there was a fruit bowl or fruit salad she could order. Our waitress offered her a bowl of lemons, a bowl..of..lemons! I'm not sure if she was being flippant but it didn't go over too well. The bacon was way too burnt, our grits had a fly in it, and our utensils were dirty. Not the greatest experience especially during the breakfast rush. Will not be back here ever. read more
