It was just ok. I stayed near this location while camping in the area. We came in twice late night. The staff wasn't the friendliest bunch. They messed up our orders the 1st night putting cheese on everything after we requested no cheese! This wasn't my favorite location, wasn't the worse, but I wouldn't return. read more

I went to Waffle House to celebrate my 21st birthday. We had Daven as our waiter. He was super helpful and gave us amazing wisdom. The food was spectacular and he was very attentive to our large group. We for sure will return to this location. Believe it or not it was my first time ever in a Waffle House. But it was my last. How this place gets 4 Stars or more or any good reviews. The place just plain stinks the parking lot is falling apart, inside is uninviting, dirty floors, not kid friendly in my view, table was wiped with a dirty rag or tables just built in sticky now. Food was okay at best, even the waffle which you think would be good was pathetic and thin. Sever either stare at us first half of the time there like she want kill us and disappeared other half only come back smelling like cigarettes to throw done bill. No do need anything else or how was it. Best thing about the place is it was cheap, but I would paid more for better experience. Waffle House do better. read more

I wouldn't give any stars after how we was treated at the Waffle House in Terrell but Dustin was very nice to come over and help us . We came in when it was little busy and we was in line for the next open table and yes it was dirty and we ask the waitress who was a trainee to please wipe the table off and she said we can clean our own table since we sit down at a dirty table . She then yelled at us so everyone could hear her . She flipped her lid . She truly doesn't belong in customer service ever . She doesn't have a name tag and then she tried to take our order as a trainee and she didn't clean our table and yelled at us . We ask for management and she laughed and said there wasn't anyone here for us to talk to . With waitress like this , you will run customers off . read more

Horrible service, waited 20 minutes for the staff to acknowledge my presents, 30 min after I ordered to get my food, had to ask for my drink twice, then they brought half my food and it was wrong. Great service with Waffle House charm. We have been to this location a handful of times. Hopefully if you are going to Waffle house, you already know what to expect before you walk in. This is a diner. The food is consistent across locations. We had a great server, Roxie, who made a 'special' waffle for our daughter. Sometimes this location has a slight whiff of cigarette smoke. Waffle Houses are generally the same no matter which one you go to. And this one is really no exception. They are always busy but some handle that better than others. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and it really wasn't as busy as it can be. We were sat pretty quickly on a Sunday morning around 11am. It took a little bit to get our drinks and for her to take our order. There was plenty of help working so that shouldn't have been a huge problem. Once we ordered the food came at about the average wait. The food was good as always. I guess the only real complaint about this one was the waitress complaining about how busy she was when she really wasn't that busy. Maybe she was hung over from a late night out on the town Saturday. Waffle House is what it is. The food is always good, but I've had better service. I would have to agree with Robbyn C. about the makeover. They could slap some paint on the place and clean up the inside a little. We'll be back, and hopefully the service will be a little better. read more

With so many places that serve under cooked eggs with lacey edges, I can trust you to do them "right"! I saw 5 customers that ordered after me receive there food before me. I waited 35 minutes for a waffle. They apologized for the wait then asked if I was local. When I told them I was just in Terrell for work their compassion quickly disappeared. Then when I finally got my order it was wrong. Just keep driving. I have been in a lot of Waffle Houses in my life. But never experienced anything like this. From the minute we walked in and were told by a customer we couldn't sit at the end of the counter because that was the managers until we started to leave and were told we needed to leave a ''good'' tip. The service was sorry, the cook couldn't remember more than one order at a time, The coffee pots were filthy with cold coffee. Broken dishes and cooking utensils behind the counter on the floor lying in standing water. The food was ok once we got it, is the only plus. read more

Boy I made a mistake taking my boys, and wife to this place. They asked for our drink order right away, and then we had to wait about 15 minutes before I finally asked for them again, then it was, oh sorry we'll get them right away sir. Then we had to wait some more time before they finally took our food order. This too sloowly, I mean ever so SLOOOWLY started coming in, I think we were finally served over a period of about 20 minutes one plate at a time. Now I have to admit the waffles were actually pretty good, however that was about it. The grits tasted like cardboard and were uneatable, my eggs I had to send back three times and then they still were not right they were runny and under cooked, I ate them but I am regretting it as the aftertaste still lingers on, an hour later. Oh by the way I actually had to tell them how to cook the eggs, and yet they could not follow simple instructions, the hash browns were cooked on one side and were tough as old boots. Also as I was waiting for my food and drink I noticed that the kitchen where they worked was extremely dirty and unhygienic. There was old spilled food all over the floor, under and on top of the counters and all over their work area. The pans were dirty and didn't look like they had been cleaned in ages. Even though there were only 3 people in the restaurant at the time, we still could not get ANY kind of service. I don't think I have ever been in a restaurant that had this bad a service, or was this filthy. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this place to anybody. read more
