My husband and I stopped at this location for a quick bite to eat. Teresa was a sweetheart and gave us great service. Food was great. But as for all waffle houses the inside could use a could cleaning.

Scrambled eggs, grits, cheese slice, and chopped sausage on top!

If you aren't in a waffle mood, try their fabulous scrambled eggs bowl with grits, cheese slice, and chopped sausage on top !! You can also get chopped bacon but in my humble opinion, this truly IS the best thing on the breakfast menu. And of course a good cup of coffee or ice cold Coke to round things out !!

The trainee that was rude and yelled at us .

I wouldn't give any stars after how we was treated at the Waffle House in Terrell but Dustin was very nice to come over and help us . We came in when it was little busy and we was in line for the next open table and yes it was dirty and we ask the waitress who was a trainee to please wipe the table off and she said we can clean our own table since we sit down at a dirty table . She then yelled at us so everyone could hear her . She flipped her lid . She truly doesn't belong in customer service ever . She doesn't have a name tag and then she tried to take our order as a trainee and she didn't clean our table and yelled at us . We ask for management and she laughed and said there wasn't anyone here for us to talk to . With waitress like this , you will run customers off .

    Breakfast menu....all day!

First time ever eating at WF! Glad we tried it. Great breakfast!! We were hungry after traveling all day and decided to sample a little bit of everything. Server was friendly. Cook was great and friendly too. Only 4 stars because the minute we walked in we could smell grease. Windows and floors looked greasy too. Tables and menus were clean.

Come in and try it here it's bomb.

And whenever we take a drive like that, we make it our mission to find a highly rated local lunch spot. This one was on the way home and looked promising, so in we went. I will say this for Texas. Onion rings are everywhere here, far more than when I lived in California. I will happily take that as a win, because the heat for about nine months of the year is not my jam. Sadly, the onion rings were not listed as one of the many sides (so we couldn't get them as a side with our meal), but we ordered them as an appetizer ($8.99 I think) with blue cheese dressing. I am not a ranch girlie, and I stand by that choice. The blue cheese had huge chunks in it, which makes me think it might be house made (bonus point!). Now, the rings. I am firmly Team "Battered" Onion Ring over Team "Breaded", and these absolutely delivered on the team battered. They were almost chicken-fried, -- super craggly, crispy, and deeply satisfying. These were the star of the meal, so do yourself a favor and order them - but you need a friend to share them with, its a heavy portion. They also have great lunch specials, most around eleven dollars. I got the pot roast with two sides, refried beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. After indulging in the onion rings, I was not exactly starving, so I ended up with enough leftovers for another full meal. The pot roast was nicely shredded and tender, and the gravy was rich, flavorful, and worth every calorie. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, (he's obviously on a diet!), with fried okra and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was forgettable, but everything else on his plate was solid. Service was friendly and efficient, and this place definitely fills up at lunch, so plan accordingly. A very good roadside stop, and proof that sometimes the best meals happen when you are just out running errands.

Strolled over to Chili's and were met by three people who were barely out of childhood and couldn't care less. The gum-chewing, poorly articulate child seated us. The temperature was also chilly & the music was too loud for conversation, so we left.) Circling around, we came upon Twin Peaks, which neither I nor my husband had previously experienced. PROS: Upon entering, we were met with a reasonable temperature - not hot or cold. Two lovely ladies greeted us in a professional and friendly manner; and we were seated. Our server "Nadailine"(sorry for the spelling) arrived and was just divine, getting printed menus because my phone wasn't reading the QR code, bringing drinks quickly, taking our orders, delivering the food, and making sure everything was good. We started with an order of the Mini Crispy Tacos. Delicious. I ordered the Fish and Chips (seasoned fries), no vinegar; but ketchup please, and a side of Mac and Cheese. A Coke to drink. Everything was excellent. My husband had an Arnold Palmer (three, actually) I call him a heavy drinker. They were replenished quickly in a fresh glass each time. He ordered the Chicken and Shrimp combo, grilled and blackened. It came with some seasoned fries. Honey mustard, cocktail sauce, and ketchup included. Cooked perfectly; and delicious. CON: The only complaint is when the sound was turned up on the TV screens it was WAY TOO LOUD. We did make a request to have it toned down a click or two; and perhaps that happened; but my eardrums still hurt. It would have been sufficient at half the volume. Patrons (and workers) should not have to sacrifice their hearing while trying to enjoy a meal and conversation when watching the game. What started as perfection, missed the mark when the atmospheric noise became unbearable.

We tried their rattlesnake bites and I enjoyed them. At first I thought they were going to be like jalapeno poppers but these were cheese with jalapeños inside that were fried. They were honestly really good! I also ordered the frozen margarita and it wasnt really strong in my opinion but still yummy. Husband ordered the steak with ribs and just a side of broccoli aaanndd the steak and ribs were on point but he kinda was disappointed that they gave him broccoli and carrots. Because it has like 3 broccolis but it is what it is. I ordered the herb chicken with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes. My plate was delish. The green beans have that Smokey taste to them and the mashed potatoes were creamy. (I was too hungry to take a picture). The only other issue was towards the end, I noticed both my cup and my husband's water cup were dirty. I could see black specks and food on both out water cups. . At that point we were already paying. The black specks I hope wasn't from mold on their ice machine. Overall, service was ok. I feel like towards the end they were more concerned about the guy next to me who was being annoying and kinda stopped paying attention to us. So it'll give this place like a 3.8/5
