This is a nice local business spot needed for the area, but there is always room for improvement and it also depends on your personal taste buds. The waffle was a bit sweet for my liking and I like my chicken more on the crisper side. With that being said I would still recommend it if you are in the area. The food is cooked fresh when ordered so it is a tad on the slow side. I've been looking for a good chicken wing and waffle place, and this was it. I don't like chicken strips or any other boneless chicken with my waffles, and that has been hard to find. This is a small family-like ran restaurant with good, HOT, freshly cooked food. They did seem to be a little unorganized when trying to get the orders together correctly, but they did get it right and out to us pippin hot. It's really a 3.5 I'm just gonna go out on a limb here but to me, their wings were comparable to the breakfast klub...I only tried their regular waffle, no bells and whistles and I ate it after it steamed in the car for 10min. So I walked into this establishment with my wife hungry as hell lol. It was empty so we thought that was good. We stood at the counter for almost 7 min. One employee was sitting down eating the other 2 was in the back seasoning chicken. Nobody greeted us or said give me a few seconds. Just looked at us and carried on. 3 seconds later the lady seasoning the chicken sneezed a nice wet one. No covering her mouth nothing. It was disgusting. After I seen that I said na I'm out. My friends and I order was both completed incorrectly and when i explained and showed the false advertisement that is displayed on the website no apology was given and we were still instructed to pay for the food we ordered from the beginning but was never given. The establishment also had sticky tables and floors which gave the indication that the floors and tables aren't cleaned regularly. 1:28PM, I instantly notice it was dirty. Trash on floors, it was sticky and wet. Every table was dirty with plates left behind. All staff seemed to be aimlessly wandering and there were 3 other customers inside. I waited to order at the register for about 5 minutes, unacknowledged. The cashier, Jessica, comes up "how can I help you?". No good morning or hello. I began to order and her cell phone rang and SHE ANSWERED IT WHILE I WAS ORDERING! Afterwards, I asked if she was finally ready for me to order and she just said her phone has been ringing like crazy today...not the restaurant phone, her personal phone. SMH. I order the combo with eggs, bacon and half a waffle and a 3 piece wing with waffle. I was told the owner hadn't updated the menu yet and there was no longer a 3 piece wing and waffle meal, only a 2 piece wing and waffle meal that wasn't much of a price difference. I order the 3 tenders and waffle instead and asked if I can order a coffee and she turns around to the coffee machine, returns and says there's no more coffee. I look at my watch, it's 1:42PM and I ask if they plan on making anymore? She says "yeah", and tells me my total. I tell her I'd like to dine in and if she doesn't mind cleaning one of the tables, I pay $36 and stand up to wait. As I'm waiting I notice there's a bit of bickering among the staff. I even noticed one staff filling waffle batter with water from the Hand Washing Only station. A couple was seated prior to my arrival and were still clearly waiting for their order. A staff member brings them a lemonade and one immediately takes a sip and brings it back to the counter saying it "tasted funny" and wanted to order another beverage. Staff look confused and no one seemed to want to take the task of providing a new beverage. A customer comes in stating she has been waiting for 30 minutes asking if her order is ready yet. It's still not ready and she exits to wait in her car longer. I finally get a table carelessly cleaned by Jessica, but she doesn't bother to tell me the floor under the table is wet from a spilled drink. I noticed before I carefully sat down. In all my observance, I begin to get a bad feeling and given the service I received I change my mind and I decide to ask for a refund. I doubt they started to prepare my meal because there were already people waiting for theirs before me. I wait at the counter again, unacknowledged for a few minutes before a different staff comes. I tell him I'd like a refund and he throws his hands in the air saying "I don't do that!" and yells for Jessica, who comes with an apparent attitude, hands me my receipt and sends me on my way. No apology, no nothing. I was disappointed and hoped to add a great Black Owned breakfast/brunch spot to my list. I will not return. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews because I genuinely want businesses to thrive. However, I'd just like to say that this establishment needs a lot of work. Wouldn't recommend to friends and family. The thing I didn't appreciate the most was that the pictures are really deceiving. Again, I'm only reviewing this so that others in our situation at that moment who were excited and craving for sweets don't feel disappointed and bummed out after all that excitement.
