the workers are so nice! i have went there twice before so far, the first time i got a little pizza shaped cookie for my friends dog pickles and he ran away with it and ate the whole thing, and this time we were here we got a new dog named izzy and we picked her out a little bone shaped treat that said spoiled dog and we have her half yesterday and she will for sure be getting fed the rest of it tonight with her dinner! and after we bought the bone the cashier had a nice conversation with us about our dogs and how they get spoiled with toys! i would 100 percent recommend read more

I was so excited to return to Wag for a Tuff toy for our dachshund, Frank. I had a great experience with two previous purchases, but this time was incredibly disappointing. The owner directed me to the back of the shop to be "helped" by her staff. HA! Long story short, Frank destroyed the "8 on the tuff":scale toy in under two hours. I returned to the shop to be informed, basically "too bad" and oh well. I had to request the Tuff toy company email and phone number. For only a few bucks more than what I paid for that one toy I got a Bark Box with truly tough toys - THREE toys and THREE full bag treats. Needless to say, we won't be back and Bark Box has a new satisfied customer. I will be posting this review across the pages. read more

While walking the downtown stopping district in Hendersonville we came across this little pet shop - the staff immediately greeted us as we entered this cute little retail business - as we all know dogs rule the world so there's plenty of canine options for sure. Since Wednesday is also vacationing with us and comfortably relaxing in the RV while we explore the area we always keep her in mind - we were directed down the small hallway to access everything cat and found a great selection, this shop's wall art is so cool and there's lots of inventory in a clean and well organized space. Our visit here was interesting to stay the least. It started out well. The long, narrow shop is full of dog and cat toys and products. Prices range from reasonable to expensive. Most items are price marked well. And comparable to other specialty pet stores. An employee greeted us while we were perusing the shelves and informed us that more products are sold further back in the store. We found numerous adorable products, most that you can purchase at other stores and sites. They also have delicious looking donut dog treats. They look so good I wanted to eat one myself! I bought two and my dogs loved them. They are large and not ideal for a regular dog snack, but a nice occasional treat. I also bought them a jolly ball. I was interested in a T-shirt they sell, but only XL were in stock. Luckily I found it on Etsy. All was going well until I finished checking out. I requested a bag for the jolly ball since we were going to do some walking. There were several employees behind the counter. When I asked for a bag, I was treated like I asked the most ridiculous question. I thought at first that they did not hear me, but then one of them proceeded to put the already bagged donuts into another bag. I asked again for a bag for the jolly ball. Rather than getting a bag, a different employee took the ball and put it on the ground by the wall on the other side of the counter. When I questioned it, the employee claimed I hadn't paid for it. She wasn't even the employee that had processed the order. Luckily, the employee that did confirmed that I had purchased the item before I pulled up the receipt. She then gave the item back to me and I had to yet again ask for a bag. Mind you there were numerous paper bags hanging behind the counter. Finally, she gave me a bag for the toy. Very strange experience and it may not be a typical experience. Overall, they do have a lot of products available at reasonable prices. read more

Super nice staff and great selection of pet products from toys and treats to clothes and excellent foods. We stopped in needing a special treat for our very good boy's tenth birthday and they delivered! We got a doggy donut that literally made our pup's eyes pop out (see pic for proof!) He drooled with delight over his special treat! We also picked up kitty food and a new mousie for our fabulous feline, and perused cute kitty beds and pup jackets for chilly weather. A great local spot to pick up fun items for your four legged family! read more

We loved bringing our dog to this shop! The owners were so sweet and gave our pup lots of love. They have a great selection of treats and goodies for dogs and cats. The first time I went here the owner was just wonderful and helpful. The second time I went here the owner was just wonderful and helpful. The third time I went here the owner's associate/employee? was nasty and made comments behind my back. (We can hear you when we are in the back room). The fourth time the associate/employee? ignored me completely. The fifth time they both ignored me and just sat there looking at their computer screens. There seems to be some attitude issues and I'm so sorry about that since I loved the store and bought several items. It really is a cute store with some wonderful items. read more

Wag! is a cute little boutique in Downtown Hendersonville. With a cute little fence out front, it is very welcoming and big! The clerks bring their little puppies around so there's a friendly face to greet you, and there's many toys, treats and clothing options for you to choose from. Visited today . Store rep was talking with another customer about foster dogs , types of food etc . We waited several minutes to purchase 3 items . Store rep came by and said I hope you're not in a hurry . I said well we just want to pay for these things . She said I'll be right with you and then went in the back with the other customer . 10 minutes later - we walked out . Being very informative is great but you need to have someone to run the cash register to . Probably a nice little place but I won't be back. read more
