I watch Fox 5 Atlanta News every weekend and I don't know the name of the anchor for Sept 27-28, 2025 but she was horrible. She kept stuttering her words and was obviously trying to read the teleprompter without much success. She needs more experience before putting her on national TV!! read more

We enjoy this local news cast , a long time staple in the ATL market. Looking for local news with cheerful upbeat anchors and reporters to deliver the latest happenings around town, it is on Fox 5. All these 1 star reviews are pathetic personal perceptions and reflect poorly on the posters. News, as is often tragic is treated with somber and thoughtful delivery. I enjoy this team at Fox Five,while they provide Georgia with a variety of stories , so very thankful for the professional attitudes . I purchased furniture from Rudys Furniture on 1575 Lawrenceville Highway in Lawrenceville Ga 470-395-6925 in Nov 2014, almost a week before Thanksgiving, I thought the furniture was stable and reliable, within that week on exactly Thanksgiving day, a house full of family and friends , I sat in the dinette chair that they assembled and it broke, causing me to seriously injure my neck and had to get a neck fusion, today I still get headaches front and back, unable to sleep, Once filing the claim they stated they had no insurance, after 3 years the insurance that was not there mysteriously showed up. Last year I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, had chemo for six months and practically lost everything. I tried to settle the case, I was in a situation where I needed the money because of cancer, no luck. An lawsuit was filed and the date for court was Oct. 2018, now Rudy's defense was they never put it together , they only assembled the bed room set, Now does that make sense? no. They Filed for a Summary Judgement on the basis of that misrepresentation like no insurance misrepresent to the judge and further more they don't know who put it together. I have to file an appeal on there misrep additionally, I am trying to locate some of the employees that was delivering the furniture, they assembled my entire bedroom and dinette set. Is there any way they could be held in contempt for lying to the judge? If anyone can help me locate in any way or have any advice please tell me, this is so unfair. I was told if I can prove that they did not charge for assembly back then or if there is anyone that has an old invoice as well. All they charge was 99 they said that was for delivery and assemble for bed only, I never got a copy of that and if you contact them today, delivery alone is over 100, so they made up a fake price list. I am not up here asking or begging for something, I was hurt and suffer everyday, they mis lead the court, This happened on Thanksgiving 2014 with all my guests , that was so not funny, how would you feel? I have a family to support, All the pain mentally and physically I bare every day , I know they are misleading the court. Please help me get my story out, everything I wrote is the honest truth. And then for them to mislead the court I had an attorney for 3 years in September a month before I was suppose to go in-front of the judge he said he could not represent me anymore, he filed for the lawsuit and all. I went to my Summary Judgement hearing no lawyer, I had to represent myself. Now I need to file an appeal and another lawyer, I know I have a good case. I know someone has a heart that will help me be fair and have Rudys take accountability for their action. On Friday, January 13, 2022 Christopher King was reporting about the tornado damage in Griffin, GA. As a dog was lying behind him he stated the dog "seemed to be in good condition" as the dog lays shivering from the extreme cold and his abnormal breathing was evident. The dog was not in "good" condition as King reported. King reported seeing another dog a "few streets over" and "if the owners see this.....". Contacted the newsroom and spoke to a male who answered the phone. He stated "they shouldn't have shown that" referring to the dog shivering and in obvious respiratory distress. He then stated "I have 3 other calls to answer. We have been getting so many calls about this". He then hung up on me (lack of professionalism). Contacted the newsroom a few days later requesting a call from the manager which was never received (lack of professionalism). Remember "they shouldn't have shown this". Glad they did. Also their "Good Day Atlanta" show lacks inclusion and diversity always featuring guests of a certain ethnicity. Found a professional and real news source with integrity. read more

I used to enjoy the 10 o'clock news. The new female anchor and her inability to has made it painful to watch. I'm through with it.

I live 40 miles west of Atlanta downtown. The Fox 5 TV station signal comes and goes, impossible to watch. I give up on this station.

Sports Complaint: This past weekend the Atlanta United MAJOR LEAGUE soccer team played in Atlanta. Televised on fox 5. Thanks for that! However, the game was immediately followed by the local news. Surprisingly, when it was sports time, NO mention of this game. The lead sports story was a Falcons' PRACTICE, not an actual SOLD OUT MAJOR LEAGUE game. SMH. Come on, Fox 5, get with the future. I received a non-founded parking ticket from ATLPlus, Dec. 2018 stating my time expired even though I had 30+ more minutes on the meter. I spent an exorbitant amount of time working on getting the citation dismissed sending in appropriate data and calling. I was not getting anywhere. A few weeks later I received a letter from ALTPlus stating since I had not defended the citation the price had doubled. WHAT? I came across a reporting segment dated Sept. 2018, from Dana Fowle with WAGA Fox 5 called, Ticket's With Time On The Clock . The story was eerily similar to my experience. I reached out to Dana and emailed CALL FOR ACTION. I heard back from someone within 48 hours. They requested all data I had sent to ATLPlus reg. the ticket, as well as photos (which I had taken after I received the citation). I am not 100% sure of the woman's name that continued to call me from Fox 5 (Leslie?), but she was very responsive, precise and engaged. The last call I received was to let me know that ALTPlus dropped my citation. They were PRO-ACTION. Thank you! read more

She posted an article on their Facebook page about ice/snow related falls and then decided to jump on people making comments about ice/snow saying the article was not about ice and snow falls. First of all, did she read the article? Secondly, did she taking a public speaking class because she should have learned about misinformation and disinformation in that class. Those things lead to no credibility. I don't trust this anchor. Not a credible source. read more
